This hotel is located along the coastline of Mirissa, that is, the kind of beach where the room comes out. In the room view, it is very convenient to go swimming, surfing and walking at the beach. It’s great to climb the rocks in the evening to watch the sunset, watch the waves, watch the sorghum fisherman fishing, and watch the surf! Walking on the beach, many home stalls, lit candles, music is very romantic, and the price is not high. The hotel room is good, the decoration is basically over, it is estimated that there will be an elevator soon, no need to carry the luggage to climb the building. We booked half-dinner, dinner can be ordered according to the meal, there are local flavors, there are whole grilled fish, the variety of each meal is not the same; the prawns, squid, fish pieces in the seafood rice, I think it is delicious. Breakfast is also good, although the variety is not many, but the taste is good, but also enough to choose. We didn't know if we didn't eat at the hotel for lunch. Book whale watching directly at the hotel, go to Yala National Park for discounts, including hotel pick-up and drop-off, complete the project, much cheaper than some websites. The boss is very enthusiastic. The obvious feeling is that it is not profitable. The WiFi is not good. When you come up, you can call the official online customer service immediately. If you have no results, you can lend your mobile WiFi to us. Our scheduled outings also have special tips and advice. It’s especially early for two consecutive days. It’s three in the morning and six in one day. It’s all packed up for breakfast. It’s not like having a hotel in China that can’t catch up with breakfast, no matter what. At dinner, because a student group in the United States had more guests and more requests, and delayed giving us a dish, I especially expressed my regret and gave it to the local refrigerator. When paying, there are indeed problems with other friends saying that the credit card machine is slow, can't brush the US dollar, can only be converted automatically after the payment of the rupee, if the cash is enough I think they are willing to settle in US dollars, you know. It is very close to the bus station, because it is a pure self-service tour, which is very important to us. There are fruit stalls, resident supermarkets, restaurants (including Chinese restaurants) about five minutes walk. The overall feeling is good, I recommend.

Самое лучшее расположение, прям на берегу океана в удаленном от трассы и шума месте. Отель выбирали по приезду, не бронируя. Просмотрели очень много. Остановились на этом, учитывая адекватную стоимость, расположение, шикарный вид из окна и просторные номера. Персонал вежливый, выполняли все наши просьбы. Учитывая то, что сервис в Шри Ланке ниже среднего, в номерах не убирают, только по нашей просьбе, но так практически во всех отелях. О номере: очень большой, светлый, с панорамными шумоизоляционными окнами, с огромной удобной кроватью и балконом. Мебель не первой свежести. Интерьер обычный. Завтраки однообразные (яйца, фруктовый салат, фрэш, тосты, чай, кофе), но можно заказать за доп. плату по меню, готовят вкусно, но дороговато по сравнению с другими кафе. Мы ходили ужинать в Пети-Пети и Зефир (там очень вкусно), в Папа Манго. Радом с отелем в 2х минутах расположен Coconut tree hill. Отель расположен на замечательном черепаховый пляже, волны не большие, людей мало, очень комфортно, удобно с детьми. До главного пляжа Мириссы 20 мин вдоль пляжа пешком, но там большие волны, подходит серферам, плавать не комфортно, мы туда ходили только вечером в кафе. Мы отдыхали большой группой из 25 человек. Все были в разных отелях. Но Seastar мне понравился больше всего. Если не сильно привередливы к сервису и интерьеру, могу смело рекомендовать!

Ce petit hôtel d'une dizaine de chambres est tenu par le patron et sa femme, tous deux très sympathiques. L'hôtel est situé tout près de la plage, dans une rue perpendiculaire à la rue principale, donc beaucoup plus calme!! Les chambres sont immenses, idem pour le lit XXL, au moins 2m20 de largeur! Très grande terrasse également... Le petit déjeuner est complet: toast avec beurre et confiture, omelette, thé ou café, salade de fruits ou jus de fruits frais selon les jours, du fromage blanc, et même de délicieuses crêpes au chocolat ou à la banane... Il y a beaucoup d'espaces par rapport au petit nombre de chambres, et c'est très bien comme çà. Le patron est exceptionnellement serviable, il sait toujours répondre à la moindre demande, il peut vous changer l'argent à un bon taux.... Tout était donc parfait !!!

We stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer! Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view on the high floor. We had dinner buffet at Weligama Kitchen and food was great! Breakfast served there was delicious with great variety from Western , Asian, Indian but the Sri Lankan style breakfast was the best! Tide Bar is a great place to relax and have drinks with scrumptious snack too. We spent most of our time at the resort and it was very relaxing. The environment was suitable for couples and family at the same time. Lastly, service was top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful. TK and Kalpani from Weligama kitchen always checking on us, Sachinthaka , Asanka and Dharmika from Tides always cheerful and greeting us when we head there for drinks. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends visiting beautiful Sri Lanka!

We stayed in DEC 2021 and originally booked via booking.com for 2 nights, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the room was large and airy with no issues. The breakfast was plentiful with lots of variety, definitely set us up for the day! We enjoyed the stay so much that we extended to 4 nights! We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, the proximity to the beach is great and the staff couldn't do anything more for us! (I wouldn't recognize the place from the previous review in April 2021) Sri Lanka has been hit hard by the pandemic and needs more tourists to visit- this was one of our favourite stays in Sri Lanka 😊

Long searched for a 2-day accommodation option in Dickwell. Hotels on the first line are quite road. They ended up staying at this guest house and did not regret. Location on the second line from the main beach of Dickwell, from the road a little further down the block. But it is very quiet. At the same time to the beach eight minutes in a rush. To the beach Hirikitia can also get to the beach on foot, but longer - 20 minutes. Very close to the Food City market, market, fruit shops, a few cafes, but the food is the simplest. Next to the beach Hirikitia cafes and restaurants are a lot and on any taste - dinner went there. Very liked the main beach of Dickwella. Waves are, but jumping on the waves is quite safe (only not with small children). The beach is beautiful, the people are small, the coastal strip is wide, 2 beds with umbrella are standing on day 600 rupees. The room is new, large, clean everywhere, there is air conditioning, cabinet, lingerie dryer, very literally is set up with railroads and switches. There are bedside lights (for me this is a big plus). The bathroom is separated by a ribbon, hot water is. Very attentive and caring master Jamila. Always wondered whether everything was okay, whether any help was needed. You can order dinner or dinner at him. The servings are big, delicious. The breakfasts included for the choice are continental or Lancaine. We chose Lancaine. Everything was very enjoyable - delicious and satisfactory. When leaving the hotel, the host called us a fat to another beach at a good price. We can fully recommend this place for accommodation and we will be happy to come back.

The first best quality I saw in the hotel was maintained very good customer service. They are ready to listen to the customer very well and fulfill the need quickly. The hotel has beautiful access .The view is such a amazing🔥... I just had an nice massage on there Ayurvedic spa which I would recommend everyone who visit here. The room are very clean and Luxury I just love it. I attended an event here and the food and drinks were very good and the atmosphere was very good. It is equipped with a hall with good space. This is good place where you plan to a company get together and all. Talking about food, you can get different varieties of food here. And it's taste amazing.. Overall, I can say that I got a very good experience. A hotel worth visiting.🙌

A really memorable stay for me. The villa is just so peaceful and well maintained. Staff are courteous and they take care of you really well. The food is great and the rooms are amazing. The bathrooms also very clean. (Had a leaking bidet in my bathroom though which should be fixed soon) The view from the room and the closeness to the sea is something you cannot imagine, it’s like your living on the sea. We moved to a big hotel post staying at this place and just did not enjoy the hotel as much, because we were missing staying at this villa as much! Book this villa for the maximum days instead of moving around hotels, all the nearby places(Weligama, Mirissa, Ahangama, Hikkaduwa) you can travel and come back within a day considering the proximity. Met the owner too, who is a gem of a person. Hope to come back soon

Very good guest house, clean, fresh repair, everything necessary to eat. It feels that the hosts have done everything with the soul, very hard, always order, clean, comfortable, cute. Delicious home breakfasts. A good location, close to the sea, but no noise of the road that is near the sea. Rooms are spacious. There are steam rooms, family rooms. Hot water, WiFi, Conditioner. There are big balconies, good evening to sit) you can also sit on the roof, watch sunset/sunset. There are rooms with sea view. Near the cafe. There are two kitchens. You can take things to wash. The hosts offer interesting tours at a good price. The hosts helped us very much in everything, told where to go, that to see, helped with renting a bike, a tour of whales, to find a good yoga class. Very hospitality) we looked at several hotels and guest houses in Miris and very happy, That they found the village star rest, here and stopped for all the holidays and certainly didn't want to leave)
