Outstanding
I stayed here with my wife to celebrate my 60th birthday. It's about a 10-minute walk from Otaru Station, faces the canal, and has a very nice atmosphere. The first time we stayed here was in January 2014, when there was snow like this time, but this is my third time staying here, including June 2019. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and heavy snowfall, we basically stayed indoors for two nights and three days. However, this inn was as warm (of course it was warm) and provided a space that was relaxing for both body and mind, just as I expected. In particular, I will focus on the samue (work clothes). Since many of the guests use them, it didn't feel strange and I didn't have to change clothes every time I moved around the building, so it was very comfortable for staying indoors. As a result, I felt like I spent more time relaxing in the lounge area than in my room, and the entire inn felt like my own room. Also, the staff members I met here and there greeted me with hospitality, and I felt at ease because I felt that this was preventing non-guests from entering. Speaking of safety, infection prevention measures are required at this time, and in addition to alcohol disinfection, ultraviolet sterilizers and masks are provided in the bathroom, and other detailed measures have been taken. As for the food, the breakfast was excellent in both taste and menu and can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. Due to the influence of COVID, there was no large platter, but the menu was abundant and I was able to enjoy it slowly while looking at the Otaru Canal. On the other hand, dinner was prepared at the inn for both nights. It was very delicious, but it was a little disappointing that there was not much meat (or rather, there was almost none). Maybe they were thinking about my age of 60... The room. This time I chose a room with a balcony. Because of the snow, I couldn't do anything there, but I used it to cool down a little after the bath and enjoy the view. There was a hammock for summer, so summer may be the real thing. Anyway, it was a very good trip this time. I would like to visit Furukawa again.

GGuest UserExcellent location especially on the snowy day, very close to Otaru train station. Checking in with the machine booth, so modern, never seen things like this before. So many choices on breakfast at 2nd floor, Bravo!!! Small room for 2 with a reasonable price, acceptable.

GGuest User Amenity is a simple hotel that saves the waste to take next to the front desk, so I think it is not enough to ask for a 5-star or 4-star hotel. It's just a new and clean hotel that is much more calm than a normal business hotel. Some pack prices with breakfast are very reasonable depending on the site. The location is very quiet because it is located in line with the former Bank of Japan building, not along the canal. It is close to the mall shopping street, so it is close to the sushi shop, the cake house in Hanazono town and the shinkuraya. There is also Lawson next door. The parking lot can be deposited from 13:00 before check-in, so it is ideal for sightseeing such as the canal, the must-see Otaru Art Village, and the Otaru City Literature Museum. As soon as you leave the canal, you will see a local-priced shop that is not a tourist price, and I think the location is wonderful. In addition, the view from the hotel room overlooking the harbor was wonderful. We were in a smaller condition, extra bed, in a not large room, but we were very comfortable. I think it's also because the door is thick or I can't hear the sound of other rooms at all. However, the bath in the room is small. Instead, the large communal bath on the top floor is not a hot spring, but the view is good and clean. It is also a good impression that the lockers that can be used were restricted so that they would not be crowded, probably because of corona measures. Breakfast buffet does not include fish * or crabs that tourists to Hokkaido are looking for. Still, it is delicious with local vegetables and Alice Farm jams. The menu is more Western than Japanese, but there are many warm foods and it warms up even in snowy Otaru. Thickly sliced bacon and steamed vegetables were very delicious. Also, the staff was young and I liked it very much even though it was crispy. The front desk staff guided me in the snow when I entered the parking lot. It was also active at the breakfast venue, so it seems that it will help where human hands are needed. It is also advanced as a business hotel that can calm down with a lot of new indirect lighting. We recommend that the husband of the corner-style liquor store, which is located at the edge of the arcade after dinner, is the most friendly and friendly if you drink a glass of sake. You can interact with people I will. We used travel support. Payment is 1 Each person 3,300 yen with a coupon of 3,000 yen, so it is actually 300 yen. It was a sorry cost. I still want to use it.

AAnonymous UserWe booked this hotel again after a very pleasant stay years ago, despite the price being on the higher side for our travel dates. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet our expectations due to miscommunication about pricing. Somehow, it wasn’t stated in my booking that I was traveling with a child, I carefully clarified with both the hotel and the agent weeks before arrival about extra charges. I received confirmation of the exact nett amount to top up and decided not to cancel. However, upon arrival, we were informed of a different price—an additional $300+ for my child, despite not needing an extra bed. Our check-in was badly delayed, as we arrived late at night with a child and had to sort through this issue. I had to present all the email confirmations from the hotel and the agent to resolve the situation, which was frustrating and unnecessary after such thorough prior communication. On a positive note, the hotel’s location remains excellent. It provides direct access to the airport via a nearby station and is just one stop away from Otaru Canal, making it convenient for travelers. While the location is undoubtedly a highlight, the inconsistency in communication and lack of clarity about pricing policies overshadowed the experience.

AAlexxMixxFantastic location overlooking the canals in Otaru. Best thing about the hotel was having a separate bathroom and a separate toilet… Especially useful when travelling with families! Gorgeous stained glass window and you can see the amazing sunset from the top floor as well Reception was large and the front desk folk were very friendly and helpful. Overall would highly recommend this hotel

GGuest UserI'm really glad I was able to stay at this inn! The facilities are new and are regularly cleaned so it's always clean! There are two shower rooms and two large separate sinks. The futons are fluffy and fluffy! The rooms have locks so you can feel safe. The breakfast at the nearby Shoebill is also great. It's a little far from Otaru Station, but if you make a reservation in advance the owner will provide a free shuttle. He was very kind and told me about some recommended restaurants! I'd like to stay again!

Yyochipochi I have stayed in Otaru town several times, but this time I stopped by Otaru Tenguyama Ropeway to get a panoramic view of Otaru City from a high place, and then moved sideways and arrived at the hotel. I parked my car in the parking space near the entrance. When you enter the entrance, there is an automatic thermometer, spray the disinfectant in your hand, and take a break in front of the front desk to wait in line. I entered the twin room in room 2809 on the 8th floor. The indoor facilities were as complete as the general hotel. From the window, I could see the road next to the hotel and the nearby mountains. A friend who lives in Sapporo booked dinner at the restaurant on the first floor in front of the hotel front desk, so I had a dinner with my friends. It wasn't crowded, so I was able to enjoy the course meal slowly while talking. There was an indoor pool and fitness in the building, but it was not available because it was only one night. Many school excursion students stayed there, so there were quite a few young people at the souvenir shop. Breakfast was buffet style at the restaurant on the 2 floor. I was full because I had a lot of food. I went to the public bath first thing in the morning, but there were few people and I put it in comfortably. After checking out and leaving the hotel, I climbed up and saw the loop road, the Asatogawa Dam and the autumn leaves, and then went home. It was a wasteful resort type hotel for one night.

JJENOTEJinyuan is a self-check-in B&B, so remember to contact the host first to get the door code. You can also contact the host again when you arrive. You need to wait for a while. The B&B is very clean and warmly decorated, and the public facilities are well prepared. Slippers, kettles, microwaves, bath towels, bath supplies, hangers, hairdryers, desks, disposable toothbrushes, etc. are provided, as well as bubble bath. The teapot and tea bags can be used to make tea, which is very good. This time I stayed on the second floor and was upgraded from a single room to a larger double room🥳. The heating can be turned on in the room, which is very comfortable. What is more inconvenient is that you need to carry your luggage and walk up the stairs to the second floor, which is a bit difficult. It would also be better if the pillows could be harder ~ The price is cheap and comfortable 👍
