Hotels near Shadows Beauty Saloon and Spa, Puducherry

Walked into my first apartment stay with trepidation. Situated in a residential area this unassuming villa met with all my expectations and requirements. The room with an attachment bathroom and balcony was very clean and great air conditioning.The host Mr.Barathraja and his staff Ms Rani and Mr.Dewakker went out of their way to make my stay pleasant.As there is no restaurant at the villa food could be ordered from ABI 'S Kitchen where there is a menu with a wide range of selections .Transport and laundry services are at request. Although the Sunflower villa surpassed hotel requirements I came away ,a solo traveller, having felt safe and never far from the feeling of being treated and taken care of genuinely as a respected guest although the villa was busy with a high turn over..a quality I have never come across in hotels. Sunflower Villa you are a shining example of hospitality at its best.

The staffs were very courteous the owner was very polite the location was quite accessible also they had parking for rented vehicle, the rooms were neat and hygienic as well. Exemplary service overall. Highly recommended !

At ed-en roc, the management was more concerned about the age of my kids than providing the necessary services/amenities like towels, cover for the quilt, bathroom cleanliness which were not provided/missing. As i understood, they were more concerned about the age of kids, because of the bill settlement for the breakfast between the hotel & the associated restaurant. The restaurant staff were very co-operative and food was excellent too.

Its location in market makes you easy to find the things and it is nearer to beaches in pondicherry and also vinayaka temple, the staff is very cooperative

I have booked this hotel directly, Away from Pollution and Traffic. Very Peacefull place just opposite to Auro beach. Seaview room which is cozy and spacious with various amenities. I had a great view of sunrise from the 2nd floor room. They have massive car parking. The lounge Restaurant food are really tasty if you request they will serve you based on your taste preference, But mid Ranged quality food. They have also assisted me on near by attractions. Mr.Jayamurthy and there team was very attentive till i check out. They also have outdoor Coral-The Seafood Bazar restaurant also i haven't tried by next time will experience on sea food.

Sai residency. Pondicherry. It was a nice stay. Clean rooms and beds. Decent rest room. Towels and bed sheets were good. Tv and ac were good. Nearby to beach, around 800 metres walk to beach. Also have many restaurants, brunches in and around it. The receptionist was very beautiful. One concern is, they don't have parking. They can try to do something for this.

1. The hotel is nothing like what they have shown in pictures. The place is smelly , and walls are soggy. 2.It feels like it's never been maintained since it's built. 3.The toilet seat was broken.they did nothing to improve the situation. 4. Paid early checkin : We arrived in the city earlier than the mentioned check in time ie 1 pm. So we called the manager if we can avail early check-in ? He agreed and asked us to come and then started asking extra money for the early check in. We were a group of 4 and had booked 2 rooms for the same day, so he asked for 2200 extra amount. When we started to leave he bargained and asked for 900 . But anyways we did not give in for his cheap tactics. 5.They will not give you any breakfast ,they don't prepare in their kitchen.They'll get vada and idli packed from the local tea shop and that only is the breakfast available. 6.Not worth the money. Go for a hygienic and better place

Booked in this hotel reading the so many good reviews and seeing photos. Stayed for 2 nights in September 2023. Sorry to say , I am disappointed. Only good thing I can say is Breakfast !! It is very tasty and coffee is amazing !!! Location is not convenient, if you want to walk to places. It is in proper market area. Crowded and noisy . Also the area is dirty. I am not sure about the safety in that area , if you want to walk in the late evenings. Rooms are big and comfortable. But not quite. Our room was in ground floor. We could hear the people talking outside. also the noise from the road too . Shower area not separated and No floor mat in bathroom . It becomes a mess after having shower. They didn't have mat outside bathroom door also ! They don't provide face towels in bathroom. Even if you ask !!! Toiletries (shampoo and shower gel) given were so tiny, not sufficient even for a single use. And they don't refill it for the next day ! So, better carry your own for safer side. No hair dryer and it seems hotel doesn't provide one even after asking. (My second experience in Pondicherry). Service is pathetic ! You have to ask them multiple times to get something you need. Sad part is, there is no guarantee of you getting it. I read lot about their restaurant. Again I am disappointed. Restaurant is so crowded as it is open for all. No policy to accommodate hotel guests on priority. We were made to share table with a couple. That too after waiting for 15- 20 min. Note that, it is a pure vegetarian hotel. Also note, hotel don't serve Alcohol .

Had a very excellent stay at Bonne Chance Heritage Residence…we r 4 girls in this trip and we didn’t even find any uncomfortable or any insecurity..they have provided everything and rooms were clean and neat..Room service is so good ..and it is near to all exploring places like white town ,beaches ,Sunday flea market,goubert market and so on…Go for it you’re opting for any budget friendly hotels..u will definitely like this hotel…👌

Excellent stay with makemytrip guarantee made my stay wonderful in pondicherry. I enjoyed a lot and the hotel was really good with the money spent. Nice service and very good staff.
