Outstanding
It was a very good experience. We enjoyed the view of river and the scenery was excellent. It was a heavenly experience. The hospitality was excellent and the food was equally good. We were welcomed warmly at the reception too. Manish, Dawa, Rima, Jyoti, Chanchal and others were good. I would like to recommend this hotel to the ones who are interested to visit hill stations near Gangtok and Darjeeling and the area around.

We booked the suite, the view from suite is amazing. The suite has a lovely big terrace facing the mountains. The hotel staff are very helpful and the hotel is very clean. MG mark is walkable distance if you are comfortable climbing mountains roads. The breakfast was good too. The only negative was that the room heater is chargable as i would expect it to be included in the room price. There is a small cafe just on the right side of the hotel with a pan shop just in front. It's called Cafe Culture. The chef serves amazing food. Unfortunately this Cafe is not found in Google.

GGuest UserIt was an ok experience. The hotel is a little run down in parts. Service at the dinner rooms were not always the best. The staff are not really bothered and would not give the menu quickly for instance. The room was nice but again it was not in the main block.. there was something missing in the hotels experience. The free evening tea and snack was awful. Yea was made terribly and the snack was tasteless. There are better evening tea service in places with yum snacks. This was plain simple boring and stingy at giving good food.
Personally I would not stay here again.

GGuest UserI booked to stay one night with my father. Their staff are so amazing they changed the room immediately as my father could not walk too ***y stairs. So I would like to say their staff and hospitality is top notch.
The room was really nice however there was a sound that came from the kitchen exhaust which was like a generator. So until the kitchen shut at 10pm this noise was there. This is the only negative part of my stay. The other suggestion I have is to have some room to do exercises or games room or something.
Its an amazing property. Loved it.

SShree619There is no better stay you could find in entire gangtok than Tag*****, I had such a wonderful experience staying here. The Travel cafe downstairs(owned by tag*****) is the highlight of the entire stay, with amazing food and friendly service, you would mostly want to be chilling out at the cafe. The cafe has live All the said amenities were provided and the rooms, washrooms were clean with 24 hrs hot water available. The internet was good too for working. The vibe of the entire place is so accommodating even for a solo traveler that I met a bunch of people traveling to the same destination and we planned the commute together. They also arrange travel and stay for different parts of the sikkim ***** with travel permit, make sure you inform them well in advance to Tag***** with fellow backpackers ***isha is the most friendliest host I have come across and with such warm hospitality I can only think of my next visit. This place has the x-factor thats missing in all the zostels I've visited in the past.

GGuest UserHotel New Castle score high on all fronts. It's very clean, in a great location, and the staff take hospitality to the next level. Ravi is the most reliable person I've come across in organizing trips. He quickly grasps what exactly the guests are looking for, and finds the most suitable solution rapidly and efficiently. He found us good vehicles , safe drivers at a reasonable cost. To us, Ravi is the face of Gangtok now. In fact, on the first evening, he smilingly assured us he would personally come to fetch us back if we couldn't get a taxi. We did get one :-) I was amazed to find him hand us some beautifully packed muffins and sandwiches ( at 7 am !) as were setting out on a long trip - he said we wouldn't find decent vegetarian options at the end of our journey. His ***tra really is ” Athithi Devo Bhavaha” - the Guest is God. Sanju would cheerfully fetch us wonderful piping hot coffee early in the morning, when the restaurant was not even open . Rajen , always smiling and helpful; at the front desk . The hotel is on the main road, about a km to MG Market. Time taken is a better measure than distance as the roads wind up and down a lot in Gangtok. However local share taxis charge Rs 20/ per person to take you there, so the location is still very central and comfortable. Perhaps there could be better hotels - but you would be hard put to find people who would work so hard to make your trip a wonderful memory. I would recommend this whole heartedly.

My experience was incredible here. I was on workation for almost a month here. (There's power back-up in common area) Location: 4.5 ( walking distance from MG Marg, can take a cab easily as well) Price: Reasonable for dorm. Vibe: 5 best🤌 Food: 4 mostly good, tell them specifically how you like it and they'll make it as per your liking. Aita makes awesome Mac n cheese. Weekends are lit Owner Karma and Ashu who manages the place are very warm people. They go the extra mile not only to make your stay wonderful but also help you plan your travel to other parts of the state. They become your go to SPOCs for Any and Every query 😃 All of the staff including Priyanjali, Rohan and Akash are super awesome folks who make Zostel the place it is, they are the vibe actually and I love how Karma and Ashu have created that bond with team to serve the hostellers with the best. The place is more of feels🌼 than anything else. During work days, you'll see tonnes of people with their laptops being sensitive to each other's calls and work deliverables and the same people will be seen partying hard in the evening. This place has all that you expect from a bagpacking hostel.
