GGuest UserGreat location to visit the wildlife park but it’s not walkable. Room was lovely. It had everything we needed. Peaceful nights sleep too. You have to pre book the leisure club and children are only allowed at certain times meaning we missed out in the morning as my 13yr old wasn’t allowed in until 9am but we had to leave then. Breakfast: Choice of food was amazing. Absolutely everything on offer. We were a bit rushed because we had the titanic experience booked so had to be punctual. We had to chase up the toast 3 times. It was the only thing my son would eat so couldn’t let it slide. Then it arrived stone cold so they apologised and redid it for him. Overall it was a lovely hotel and included some nice touches like Lily O”Brien chocolates in the room, a coffee maker and free bottle of wine for Deluxe rooms. Turn down service was a welcome surprise too.

GGuest UserRachel at reception saved our vacation to Cork! Upon arrival to Cork, our airbnb had visible mold and smelled of mildew. Even though the Jury's Inn was fully booked, she helped us try to find a new location. After spending time in your lobby, Rachel rushed out to tell us there was a cancelation! Not only did she help us get a room, she provided complimentary drinks for ”our rough day”. I can't say enough good things about how caring Rachel was through the entire process. Thank you Rachel and Jury's Inn!

GGuest UserThe receptionist a mature lady ensured from the minute we arrived that all would go well even if we were English. She helped my wife with the local Pharmacy (thank you). The hotel has ample parking. Parts of the hotel actually have an interesting Irish Rail history as well. The hotel is right next to a decent high street 5minute walk away. They also served Murphy's in the bar! The room was good but it was the history inside the hotel and the conversion of the Railway bridge into a drinking area very novel. Breakfast was very good and competative no complaints from me Irish Breakfast same as an English to me! Would we stay there again yes we are planning to again next year. Iy is only a 45min drive drom Cork airport.

Tried booking a double room in 2 x days in advance. Website showed double room was €70, every time I tried to book it said only room available was special needs room with lower bath wet room, more spacious at €129. Tried at least six times to book and every time would only offer the special needs room. When we arrived we were given a room on 4th floor, why would you give someone a wheel chair access room in 4th floor? Room was the standard Double room I tried to book for €70. Asked at reception why were we charged for special assistance room and were in a double room. He was new and being trained in, so he let the cat out of the bag ‘this is the room you booked, it shows on my booking as a double room’. I could see he honestly didn’t know why I was querying the room, so he called a young manager over. She was more seasoned and knew the drill, as in loads of spin. She said special needs room has a lower bed, but since they had a double room they gave that to us instead. I sed that’s okay can I have a refund for the difference and she sed the rooms are all the same price, which was not true. So she was prepared to lie blatantly, she had obviously been trained to handle this type booking. Be careful when using their website, I hit an algorithm that threw up a room scam. We were charged nearly twice price for a double room. The booking email had my room as ‘Quad’ , whatever that means. Clearly ambiguous so they can state they don’t offer a special assistance room. I put this review up so other travelers can use their judgement if they get a similar push to book the special assistance room. I won’t be staying there again.

GGuest UserAbsolutely brilliant hotel. Staff were nothing next to amazing, especially John (guest relations). Every hotel should have a John. Brilliant. Bar staff again brilliant. Food was amazing. And nothing was ever a problem. Hated checking out. Adrienne

GGuest UserI am in love with their bed!! It’s the best I’ve ever slept on. So in love, I had to investigate to find out who makes their bed: it’s by the natural sleep company. I slept deliciously and I will now get a bed like that for my home. The employees were quite kind and helpful too. Clearly, from the bed alone, they invest in quality. It’s a gorgeous building and exquisitely maintained with a magnificent old world charm. I hope this gem lasts for ages and doesn’t succumb to the boring, overly modern, cookie cutter trope a lot of hotels have fallen into. I will return for sure.

NNomad52723409364Our room was comfortable. It was a good size, modern decor, and modern bathroom fixtures with a large tiled shower stall. The hotel had 2 elevators. activated by room keys. This hotel chain prefers jars of Body Wash to soap. Not having an iphone, I appreciated using the computer in their business room to do emails. There isn't really a lobby area at the entrance, but the cocktail and bar lounge, connected to a small dining area, serve as sitting areas when waiting for others. We arrived tired from a day of travel so we were delighted to eat in the hotel's dining room for an evening meal rather than go exploring for a restaurant. The prices for evening meals in the hotel cafe were reasonable with a discount offered on 2 and 3 courses. The Bacon and Chicken Salad (15E) I ordered was delicious and dinner size, and desserts like Eton Mess were around 6.75E. During the day, the hotel has a coffee shop (scones 3E) with both indoor and outdoor seating. Could take away the pastries and enjoy them in the room where coffee and tea and kettle were free to use. No bakery shop was nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of the English Market (a bakery counter here) and shopping streets like St. Patrick's Street. For us, it was a good choice for an overnight stay with Insight coach tours.

GGuest UserI have just check out yesterday and the hotel is lovely and the lobby is beautiful will a lot of space to take a seat and relax. This hotel also has no shortage of car parking spaces surrounding the building. We had booked a interconnecting room for 5 Ladies which is ideal for friends going for a night away. We had arrived before check in not expecting our rooms to be ready but to just leave our cars and head into town. The gentleman on reception was fantastic ( I'm so sorry for not remembering his name) he was able to check us in to one of our rooms early and send up a few drinks for us which was amazing and really set our stay up the right way. he also gave us great recommendations for food and drinks in the city which really helped. The rooms where spotless and we had nothing to complain about here. The beds are very comfortable. I also liked that the bathrooms have the bath and shower separate. the rooms are very quiet also which helped with getting some sleep. The breakfast was the only thing I would say was only ok. The only option for hot breakfast was Porridge or Full Irish which I thought was a bit limited. With it still being table service in this hotel, which I don't have a problem with, the server we had had forgot one or two things we asked for and we had to ask again. Some items we then received some we didn't. This still would not stop me from staying again. We had a very fun, comfortable, easy, friendly stay here and I would recommend this hotel to friends/family.

The experience from entering reception to departure was second to none. Yes there are fancier hotels but your establishment had something special. staff were friendly, helpful and excellent to deal with. I had a super hot plate of lamb in your bar washed down with two nice beers. Rooms were comfortable clean and quiet. Breakfast at 7.00 was just what I needed for the day ahead. I hope to be back again as I pass through Mallow. Thank you for upholding the small family hotel experience.
