Hotels near Foch Hospital, Puteaux

This week I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. On my first night I woke up in the middle of the night feeling itchy and I could feel there was something in my bedsheets. I turned the lights only to find out there was about a dozen bedbugs in my bed and pillows. Imagine the sensation!!! This horrible things were all over my head, my face and my body.... I took some pictures and recorded some video as well. I went down to the lobby and asked for a room change, which they did. The morning after I spoke to the manager and showed him the video. He couldn't believe it and said the hotel was brand new. I showed him allthe bites on my face, neck and arms. He offered they would compensate me somehow, and and offered an apology. Later that day I found out that they had compensated me with the glorious amount of 6,000 fidelity points, equivalent to €100!!! I went back and respectfully told themanager that such comepensation seemed ridiculous. He agreed and offered to increase it to an amount we agreed verbally. As I got back home, I checked my Accor fidelity point balance. They increased the compensation but clearly not in the amount we agreed. Terrible experience x 2: bedbugs + false promises.

We booked a room with two single beds at the beginning, but it was a double bed that caused us inconvenience. But after negotiating with the front desk staff, they helped us change to a better room.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are cozy, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bathroom is a little small but functional with nice toiletries (Soap, Shower gel/Shampoo etc). Bed was firm but comfortable and there are extra pillows and a blanket supplied. Our room (104) had air conditioning and was at the front of the hotel but we never had any noise issues. Breakfast was lovely, a simple continental style but plentyful and fresh. The hotel is in a nice quiet suburb of Paris (Puteaux) but just 15 minutes walk from La Defense or Esplanade stations with easy access to the rest of the city. Nearby there are a few restaurants and shops, although we found some were closed at weekend/only opened on the Monday as we were leaving. (we think this is as its near the business district) We walked from Puteaux to Surenses to go to Longchamps races which was easy

A very well located hotel, 100 meters from the tram, Room very clean. Bedding of very high quality. A very competitive price. A smile at the reception. Perfect to recommend.

Lovely place with easy access and nearby parking available. The hosts are very charming and helpful. My wife mentioned to Cristina her lactose intolerance and they were able to quickly accommodate her with nice options for a personalized breakfast. I really recommend the breakfast 😋 The rooms are very small but have all that you need. We arrived late with a lot of luggage and Cedric was very helpful. No TV and no mini-bar in room but enough choice of drinks in the easily accessible common area. Hosts are generous with healthy homemade snacks and juices in the room. Would have appreciated bathrobes and slippers.

We had the best time at Mama Shelter La Defense. The hotel staff were all really friendly & helpful. Our room was a good size and the bed was SO comfortable. We went to the penthouse a couple times for drinks and the diner once for breakfast and everything was really delicious. The diner breakfast option was really good value. We also found the location, while further out, is really well connected and you’re in central Paris in no time. We will no doubt come back to this hotel again as we regularly visit Paris and this was a perfect experience.

My Uber was driving around in ever decreasing circles as we couldn't find this hotel. But then La Defense is pretty impenetrable by car so I shouldn't have been surprised. Finally made it to reception to be greeted by a lot of smiling faces and the news that my room had been upgraded. The room itself (I had no idea what it had been upgraded from) was great - big double bed, plenty of space, soft towels. I tried the TV but there were only the usual channels. It would be nice (and perhaps expected in an hotel like this) to have a smart TV so I could login to my accounts but no. I had a fantastic caesar salad for dinner via room service, although the ordering method was slightly convoluted (via an app which you needed to scroll through to find the right bit - sounds straightforward but it wasn't completely). The bed was really comfortable and no noise from outside. In the morning the shower was powerful and hot and easy to use (not always the case first go). So friendly staff, nice room, good food, and tip-top shower - that's really all you want or need from a hotel.

The location is a few hundred meters away from the new Arc de Triomphe. It takes about 5-10 minutes to walk to Westfield and La Défense subway M1 entrance, M1 to the Arc de Triomphe 6 stops. The sanitation of the hotel facilities is not a big problem, but sometimes you forget to supply water, you can ask the front desk for it, and the front desk has no problem with English. Breakfast is 20 euros and the content is okay. I own a parking lot at the entrance, and I parked it for two days without charging. If you come by car, please pay attention to the location. The address given by Ctrip may not be easy to find. The GPS address given by the hotel is: Rue Jules Ferry 92800 Puteaux. The parking entrance of the hotel is not on the main road. When you see the 7/7 sign, you need to turn right about one hundred meters after entering the intersection. You will go straight to the westfield parking lot or go out. La Défense is a complicated road, please concentrate. Uber eats can order Shaxian snacks, wontons are good, 8 Euros. There is also a Vietnamese noodle that is also good, less than 10 euros. There is also a Dynasty Poached Pork Slices that does a good job.

There are very positive and other very negative aspects. They were disorganized in a clamorous way, they worried me for the whole period before departure because they tried to pre-authorisation with my card in a way that did not comply with the directive PSD2, So they could not pre-autorize a little thing and they continued to threaten me to cancel the booking by saying that my card was not valid. When I arrived there the card was still not working and at two nights they forced me to make a bankomat to pay in cash (with a bankomat looked at the card worked). 2. The room was insufficient, there was no cover, the only person in the hotel was unable to tell me why, he said he would talk to the person who was taking care of cleaning, but the cover never arrived. 3. The maintenance is bad, handlees that risk to get off, before the kitchen missing, details that could be solved in 10 minutes but who knows how much they are put so. Positive. 1. There are many services around, the metro is very close, there are supermarkets open also Sunday and fortunately also a bankomat because otherwise they would have left me on the street imagine. 2. The size of the apartment solves the main problem of the hotels in Paris: the size of the room. In 3 was well, the area is very silent at night but unfortunately the expansion work of the neighborhood begins early in the morning. We stayed 3 nights in this hotel, we picked up bed punishes on the body, big buttons appeared. We had not reported the problem during the stay because we didn't know what was happening.
