Enjoyed our stay. Lovely welcome. We were able to request early check in at 1000 for 25€ which I thought was great value. Room was very clean, good size, with bath and lovely towels. Breakfast was a clear 10/10. Eggs to order, very fresh produce, fantastic home made pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice and excellent selection of juices and coffees. Location next to San Mamés is within walking distance to main attractions in the city however it is also adjacent to transport hub which is perfect. We purchased Barik card at airport, which I’d highly recommend. Direct bus from airport to hotel and card allows half price travel on all public transport. We also visited coastal towns, including visit to hanging bridge, harbours and beaches and loved the location of the hotel which also has many bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel terrace,( although bar there is closed low season) , is still available to take your own drinks and enjoy the view…we were very lucky with temps in the 30s in March. No complaints at all. Excellent stay.

The apartment has a very excellent location. It has a mini market under it until 11 p.m. and restaurants. It is close to tourist attractions and a beautiful and safe area. The security system in the building is excellent, there is Wi-Fi. The interior design of the apartment is beautiful, modern and comfortable Spacious, clear, and clean, and the weekly cleaning service is good. All basic needs are available, including a dishwasher, clothes, utensils, cleaning tools in the apartment, and all household essentials. Its price is a little high, but for its location it is excellent

We arrived via the airport bus and found the accommodation easily thanks to reading the reviews beforehand. It is a doorway with a many signs including one for Bilbao city rooms. The rooms are on floors 4 and 5 with Reception on the 4th. Check in was fast and simple with a warm welcome from the lady at reception. The whole two floors have well lit clean corridors and the lift is great. The room was a very clean well presented modern double with a large shower room and plenty of storage. The window s can be opened and I like other reviews mentioning the heat and the ceiling fan... we can say it’s chilly at night but the heating does come on at ten! The location of these room is very central and excellent l. Great transport links if needed but we walked all around the old and new parts of the city with the Guggenheim, bars and restaurants all on our doorstep. Shopping in Bilbao is fantastic and dint be afraid to visit the 2nd hand stores .. some amazing finds!!!

I needed my boyfriend to stay over while I was traveling and this was the perfect place. This isn't a 5-star hotel, but it did the trick and we were very comfortable - here is why. PROS - Coming from Bilbao Airplane or taking Bus?...: It is close to 2 blocks from Bilbao Intermodal and if you are coming from the airport, this hotel is an easy walk from where the bus drops you off in San Mamés. The location is also SUPER safe. - Transportation: If you look down the street and cross it, you will also see the tram station along with the metro station. - Food?: There is food everywhere. This is Bilbao. Spend 2 euros (or really please buy a Barik card) and go into the city, you won't be disappointed. The best part about the tram is that it goes theoretically left or right. I live close to NYC so I understand it can be complicated, but the system in Bilbao, chef's kiss. - Bed/Room: Pro? The bed/room you get in sleek, modern, and for a REALLY CHEAP PRICE! Please don't hassle your way into spending a lot of money on a hotel in Spain. It is not truly worth it. Just get this place, feel comfortable, and safe. - Staff? There are not many, but the ones that are there will help and accommodate you. You just need to be nice. I say this because I went in to check in and someone was being helped. They weren't that nice to staff, so please remember, we are all human. CONS - Cleaning: I will say, the bathrooms were clean, but the headboard for me was dusty. It might have been that the room wasn't used a lot. But please don't worry, it did not effect my stay considering the price was reasonably cheap. - THE ENTRANCE!: You need to understand, their rating is a 2/5 stars but it is NOT because they are bad, in Spain it is based on what the hotel/hostels have and DON'T have. So what they don't have is a front reception. Listen closely if you are going to go here. Once you get on the street, you will need to buzz into the door as if you are requesting to go to someone's apartment. OR they will give you a code before hand. The hotel is unique in design, novel, and the front desk service is good. The reception processing speed is relatively slow, the elevator is less inconvenient, sometimes it needs to wait, and the overall stay is quite satisfactory.

The food was very good and tasted great. The waitress always took care of us and fulfilled all our wishes quickly and meticulous. The selection of food in the menu was a variation of mostly local food and nice deserts. Also included the option to get one of the drinks from the bar. We just tasted the coffee, which was great.

It's a pity. Be careful. The place is going downhill fast. Attempted to charge my card twice without letting me know. Had a mishap the first night and also had another member of staff being confrontational upon check out. I stay here every year and this was my second trip this year. Breakfast had flies on the buffet. It states online you have a full time bar. The Spanish receptionist got angry when I asked for a water after 23.00. He blamed the system. I don't think il be back and I used to recommend all my friends to this place and many more. There is 2 ladies there at reception who are holding the fort together and otherwise its a real shame. Be careful. I'd like to speak to the manager also about my experience.

The hostel has very clean multibed rooms. The bed was also very clean. Unfortunately the bed was for my size a few centimeters too short. There was nothing to make at the cleanness of the sanitation facilities. The community bathroom and shower were very clean. The breakfast was very simple but feeling sufficient. Very clean breakfast room and also very clean living room with large flat-screen TV. The staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. The staff also speaks English. Credit card payment is also possible. Two chairs are also available. Completely disabled-fitted. Super. There are sufficient parking facilities on the ground floor of the youth hostel. Different drinking and sucking machines were also available. 24Stunden Reception. The views, restaurants, city centre, churches and museums cannot be reached on foot. Bus No. 28 is just in front of the house and is going to the city centre. I had my room on the 7th floor. From there you had (just in the night) a spectacular view of the city. It simply radiated everything. Very wonderful. Want to stay there again in any case, provided I am in Bilbao. Good and cheap. But a super youth hostel.

We were a family of three and got the studio apartment. We stayed for 5 nights and were overall very happy. The people at reception were extremely helpful and nice, Ingrid - if I remember her name correctly- was especially welcoming. They have 24 hour reception and check in and check out was very smooth and easy. They also reply to WhatsApp messages during working hours. The apartment had everything you needed and good cupboard space, iron, small kitchenette, nice sized bathroom with good lighting, daily cleaning service, comfortable beds, ... The location was a three minute walk from the Zubizuri bridge and away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Numerous restaurants and cafes and supermarkets were a minute or two away. I greatly recommend this hotel/apartment especially for families. The only thing I wish could be was a cheaper price. It was a bit pricey but I would go again for sure.
