Outstanding
GGuest UserMy husband and I came to Malaga for a week, and chose Room Mate Valeria after being won over by the pictures of the brightly coloured rooms and good reviews, we made the best choice! Our room was perfect! The bed was sooo comfy, we had a wonderful little outside balcony to take in the lovely view and the shower and facilities in the room were great. Service when we arrived was amazing the staff are really friendly and accommodating, late check out was a lovely bonus, as is their facility to provide beach towels at no extra cost. We had breakfast twice at the hotel, it was ok for me but my husband who is vegetarian had a limited choice of food to choose from so we decided to eat out after. The other main facility the rooftop bar/swimming pool was nice. We never used the swimming pool and I was quite surprised at how small it was (I think the hotel might have been better off not having a pool and just having a roof top and sun lounging area) but the roof top area was always popular and enjoyable. It’s nice that priority is given to hotel guests too. If you don’t want to go to a nightclub but want a late night drink the rooftop is lovely. A nice little touch to an already lovely hotel. Would highly recommend this place.

GGuest UserThe service at this hotel was outstanding, I was really made to feel special. The building is beautiful, especially the marble staircase and terrace overlooking the sea. My room was very tastefully and luxuriously decorated, it didn’t have a view, but the price was commensurate for that. Overall the hotel gives an experience of mid tier luxury (not very very top level ala Bulgari hotel, but definitely premium). My biggest complaint is with regards to the gym and spa. The gym is ok, if small, has a squat rack which is great. But there is no locker room or changing area next to it! Any other five star hotel I’ve been to would have a luxurious locker room with a sauna and hot tub etc. Here there wasn’t even a place to change! I had to go back to my room and change into my gym gear the first time I went. Then there is the ‘spa’. Some hot tubs, relaxation areas and a sauna. Very nice, but a €25 EXTRA for guests!! What kind of a luxury hotel charges extra for use of the sauna?! Aside from this, I very much enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay here again.

GGuest UserEverything was nice, there were just couple of disappointing things: 1. That’s not so simple to get into. We had to call to the support 2 times. Pin for the appointment didn’t work. You may need Wi-Fi to check in before enter, use the appointments one. 2. There was a problem with internet connection. Only once but for the whole evening. 3. Cleaning came after 9 days only. So we were out of toilet paper and clean towels.

GGuest UserWe planned a 4 night visit to Malaga and wanted a central hotel so that we could explore the city. We chose the Palacete de Alamos due to its location and also the boutique feel of the hotel. We were definitely not disappointed! We stepped out of the hotel entrance and were immediately in the centre of the old city, with endless bars and restuarants within easy walking distance. We even managed a couple of hours on the beach! The breakfasts were excellent - plentiful and beautifully presented. The staff were delightful. The room was modern, clean and comfortable. On our morning of departure, as we had a very early flight, the hotel packed a picnic for us which was just delightful. We will definitely recommend and also stay again.

Most important point - we will stay here again when we return to Malaga if they have rooms available! Pleasant tourist hotel. The rating is relative to the hotel class and price - luxury hotels of course exist and are nicer but in my experiences in Europe, this is a 'best in class.' Nice spacious and clean rooms. Excellent and helpful staff and everyone had a high level of English so we could forego our poor Spanish. The staff helped us extend our reservation through a fully booked Saturday night AND found a way to keep us in the same rooms.

MMr. Alex2045good sound proofing, lightproof window blinds, compact room equipment. just a short walk from train station, check-in was quick and efficient. will definitely stay again. lack of cloths hangers ( just 2) and an unfortunate placing of hooks just 50cm from floor to hang your shopping bags of something, you see that ppl desperately looked for additional hooks and took out those decorative metal plates. but its something that eventually will get fixed after time.

JJust OlyaThe hotel is located just 100dyers away from the airport but if you are with luggage, you will have to take a taxi that will cost you anywhere between 15 and 20 euro. If it’s Saturday evening you will pay 20. In fact, it’s the most expensive taxi in the world, as we paid 20 euro for a dive of 1000 meters, and that’s with official taxi ! Completely rip off so if you can, just avoid staying at the airport hotel. Regarding this hotel, it’s of very poor quality. They claim that windows are sound proof but it’s not the case. The hotel is located between two very busy highways, so the noise is like you are siting on the side of a highway. The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are impossible to sleep, the management Shiism try to sleep on this pillow one night and treat a neck pain next morning. The room is very hot and air is dry ( even if you try to control he temperature in the room ) it doesn’t se to work and you can not open the window for fresh air because of the enormous noise that comes from highway. So either bring the earplugs with you and ask the opposite side ( not facing the highway) The only positive point: the rooms are quite spacious and the shower is ok too ( even though it just has a curtain instead of normal door you would expect in the shower) Would not recommend staying there, and for the price of 20 euros for taxi you are better off staying at a better hotel closer to Malaga, with more comfort.

RRodriguezI really enjoyed my stay at malaga nostrum a all staff was very friendly and gave great service. I loved that there is restaurant on site and they have cook on breakfast time to prep anything a la carte. As far as location it's near the big shopping center. So it's convenient.

EElisabeth1I read all the comments and I am a little scared ... The true Checkin theme is that I had to contact them to send me the welcome email to be able to register those we installed there. Once completed, you will be sent another email with the buttons that open the entrance door and room, all directly from the phone. There is a QR code that you are supposed to follow the steps by scanning only, I didn't have to use it because I could already access the email. If you don't get an email, ask you the welcome email. The room was okay, it's not a hotel, but I was already good for what I was looking for.. the perfect bathroom and the room also. We have sleeped well. I will contact them via the next email ***************, giving them a booking.
