GGuest UserMy experience was pleasant throughout my stay. The location of the hotel is great, right on Town Hall Square. The room was relatively clean with new amenities, although there wasn't a king size bed and we had to put two beds together. Breakfast is worth mentioning, with pancake, which I really liked, and very good yoghurt. It would have been a near perfect experience, but something incredible happened when I checked out. I missed a handbag in the room because of the large amount of luggage. I returned to the hotel two hours later to enquire and was told that ”nothing other than RUBBISH was left in the room”, which I was shocked to hear, as the bag contained at least one whole cigarette (which my friend had commissioned me to buy from a Chinese duty free shop), a whole box of Chinese tea, a bag of expensive Chinese hot pot base, some chocolates and other items! . I didn't call the police for time reasons, but I chose to publicise this fact here, which I think is a shame for any hotel.

So lovely small and romantic boutique hotel in the old town just in front of the University of Tartu. We stayed in a room on the 4th floor with a great view of the old town rooftops, which I really enjoyed. I loved the beds and pillows—had the best sleep I’ve had in a long time. I especially loved the check-in process—everything was managed through the app. I used my phone to open the door and chat with registration - order food, request extra pillows, and even arrange a late check-out. They answered immediately. It was all very convenient. The hotel itself is a small, but the rooms were really spacious. When we arrived, the shower floor was cold, but we discovered it was possible to turn on the floor heating—this made a big difference and was much better! The breakfast was tasty and in the cozy restaurant, great coffee and the option to order various hot meals.

GGuest UserОтель хороший, современный. Удобно то, что из него есть сразу выход в торговый центр. Но есть несколько минусов. Первые 2 дня утром была красная рыба на завтрак, но на третий день, когда людей было побольше за пол часа завтрака рыба так и не появилась. Ощущение, как будто ее удерживали специально, что бы пока народу много ее не съели много. Но это мелочи. Самое главное. На третий день мы после обеда ушли гулять, а когда вернулись вечером, то на нашу дверь кто-то повесил бумажку ”не беспокоить” ( мы её не вешали). А наши обе карточки перестали открывать дверь. Получается, кто-то заходил к нам так как бумажка ”не беспокоить” оказалась из нашего номера. Можно было бы предположить, что это уборщицы, но мы уходили в 14:30, уже после работы уборщиц, да и в номере не было убрано. На рецепшене нам просто запрограммировали карточки на наш номер по новой. Кто и зачем входил в наш номер и почему карточки перестали работать для нас на всегда останется загадкой. Но второй раз мы вряд ли сюда приедем из-за этого инцидента.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting a conference in Tartu. Hotel is recently renovated at very central location next to theatres, Kaubamaja and with a good walking distance to Tartu University or Old Town. Rooms and corridors look fresh, view over the park is nice and breakfast at restaurant Humal was good experience with very efficient staff, good food variety and quality. You could borrow iron and ironing board from the reception and cold fridce in the room was bonus. Unfortunately there were also some issues in the room that I did'n t like: 1) The noise from the street makes you awake at night 2) The airconditioning was shut down for some reason? - there was a hatch on the wall that you could open but... 3) There was a place for coffee machine and kettle but either they haven't been placed or they have been taken away due to covid or... 4) There was no way to contact reception - if you didn't want to walk downstairs. Stay higher floor and maybe choose to look backyard if you mind noise during the night

GGuest UserHuge Hotel is in center of Tartu, near to central bus station, room was clean and there was enough space for two persons. If you travel by car, parking day expense is 5€. Breakfast for any taste, large selection of food and drinks. The staff carefully monitors the cleanliness of the dining room.

10/10 amaaaazing place, very clean, close to town. I stayed here for 2 nights, and I thought I booked a 6 bed dorm but instead I found myself in the Grand Budapest Hotel?! 6 beds all to myself which was So good (it was early January, so not many travellers around at this time). Never before had I so many choices of beds to sleep in! wow! On the note of bedrooms, I liked the design a lot. Lots of character. Especially the lampshades which were repurposed shopping bags. Nice touch! Lastly, I’d like to give a special shout-out to front desk girl Mia who was just the most helpful and loveliest front desk lady I have Ever dealt with (good luck with your maths🎉 ).
