Excellent
Rrover257Cheerful and helpful owner (Amanda) & family. Not a lot of English spoken (bar Sergey, when he was around, and another girl at reception who we only met once) so without some Spanish there can be misunderstandings. Staff also very friendly and helpful. lnternet was poor (general problem in Galapagos I think) and caused problem paying bill as it failed in mid transaction with CC and we ended up duplicating the payment. To be fair Amanda went straight to bank to cancel as soon as we discovered it - money was back in our a/c in a week or so. Most rooms are good with spotless tiled floors - we ended up sampling 3 different rooms in our 4 night stay (1 night and then 3 more following a gap of a few days). One on 1st floor at the back of building was a big room with mini kitchen incl sink, fridge and microwave but was overlooked by closely adjacent property so we just kept curtains closed most of time which made it a bit gloomy. Equiv room on 3rd floor which we had for a couple of nights was a good room. Twin room on top floor (4th) which we had for 1 night was small but gave you easy access to the rough roof terrace which had a few chairs which we used to have a beer and some snacks watching the sun go down. All rooms we stayed in were noisy though - probably applies to much of Puerto Ayora accommodation - continuous cars in C Seymour, dogs, cockerels from 4 or even earlier, water pumps, etc. etc. not the best if you are a light sleeper. Normally we left the windows open - closing them helped a little but not much. Breakfast was reasonable - not laid out in a buffet but brought on request. Fresh fruit juice, eggs as you prefer, bread/toast, coffee/tea, fruit if you asked for it. Overall were happy enough with the place, esp Amanda & staff and would stay again but not in the room on 1st floor and I'd bring good earplugs.

GGuest UserThe hotel is quite satisfactory. The service from the front desk girl is very enthusiastic and her English is also good. A meal to introduce surrounding attractions and entertainment projects. Can help introduce travel agencies. The prices and services are relatively reliable. The hotel environment is very style, and it is very comfortable to stay in the small courtyard. The only flaw is that the room is average. More like the standard of domestic three-star hotel. But very clean. The hotel includes breakfast. Every morning, I will serve you directly without repetitive dishes. very satisfied.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL We booked and paid 10 months in advance. We eventually called and emailed months out and they confirmed the Suite (by name) via written e - correspondence. We had paid a significant amount of money to ensure that we had the right room for this special visit. When we arrived they said that as they had changed the category of the rooms, we were now in a (small) junior suite. Like a few other reviewers have said, they are NOT Suites! It was only after two days when I showed them the correspondence confirming the room by name that they accepted we were put into the wrong room. After much discussion (which was a distraction from being on holidays) they gave us the room we has booked and explained that they could not have given it to us earlier as they had allowed someone else to book it. They offered us a small amount by way of compensation, but no where near what we had paid (the difference) for the room we had booked. So, I would NOT Recommend this place as they are deceptive; and you are taking your chances with them. I have waited three months since our visit to write this review, so it is not done in the 'heat of the moment' . Ps. If they respond and deny the contents of this review, then I would be happy to share relevant correspondence. I also note the limited number of reviews for a business that has allegedly been around for a while ...

GGuest UserHotel is quite far from the waterfront, but its not a big issue as the walk is nice 15-20 min or you take a cab which is all time available for 1,5$. Its called Hostal but rooms are like in a Hotel. They are nice and clean. At the roof top you have nice view, tables and a bar which was not on duty when i was there. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I wanted to change my flight and the receptionist was very helpful and even wanted to go with me to the agency in town which was unfortuntely not existed anymore. For it class i can strongly recommend to stay there

Ppedroe988A friend and I stayed at the Ninfa for 3 nights. We found the hotel to be clean and friendly. We particularly enjoyed the outside courtyard area that had a bar and pool, and hung out there at the end of the day. Bartenders Jesus and Andre made good margaritas and G&Ts, something we found to be a rarity in the islands. Front desk staff were polite and helpful. We stayed in one of the 2nd floor balcony rooms that over looked the pool area. Bring a portable clothesline if you want to dry your stuff after a day on the water. We had an unbooked open night at the end of our trip and liked the Ninfa well enough to book our last night there, as well.

Location is very good. Close to port, restaurants and shops. The room had good a/c and comfortable bed. TV did not work but that was ok with us. The hotel itself was fine as a 2.5 star rating hotel. The room was spacious and bright, the bathroom was dark and in need of TLC.. The most difficult issue was our room and the hallways were covered with little wall lizards. That made it difficult to sleep expecting them to drop on your head. I love the little creatures, but not in my bed! The front desk management was quiet poor except for the one young man who tried to help get the lizards out of the room). The general manager was very rude and sour when you asked for anything. No late checkout allowed. Courtesy bathroom offered was disgusting and unusable, not even for a quick pee!! Super dirty and filled with mosquitos and bugs. Tried to be fair and balanced to the establishment in this review, but we would not stay here again. Lots of better places to choose from for same price point.
