OMG where do I start? A FANTASTIC little hotel just off the beach on a side street slap bang in the centre of Larnaca in the Finikoudes beach area and in Larnaca's old town. Absolutely, frigging, marvellously fantastic! Check-in was a breeze, the hotel super clean, the room huge and also, surprisingly SUPER CLEAN. It was absolutely spotless - whoever they have hired to clean the rooms does outstanding work. If I could bring them back to the UK to clean my own home, then well, how great would that be? There is fast Wi-fi, modern bathrooms with superb power showers and the room, for the budget prices it offers, has a wonderful selection of milk, tea and coffee. However, what is most surprisingly of all is the superb, efficient and excellent customer service provided by the manageress named Nadia. Not only is she one of the most pleasant hotel staff members I have ever come across but she is astute, assertive and extremely efficient, having helped me sort through a few hotel and non-hotel travel arrangements without hesitation. This excellent customer service, coupled with a bright, modern, fresh, efficient and superbly clean (almost hospital clean) hotel, confirms that Hai hotel IS my number one place to stay every time I visit Cyprus. Without question. Without hesitation. I will certainly be returning next year and look forward to staying in one of its wonderful rooms and dealing with their wonderful staff. Very good, service attitude is great

Stunning hotel I cannot fault a single aspect. Each and every member of staff were so warm and helpful (special mention to Eva and Andre). The suites themselves are extremely well designed and appointed, they have thought of everything from nespresso machine, to mini shaving and dental kits in the bathroom. Beds are really comfortable and the balconies spacious. Make sure you check out OLIV the deli cafe adjoining, really delicious fresh food. A perfect place to stay as very central. Stayed in room 4 for 3 weeks and it had everything needed for a long stay. Nice outside seating with sunbeds on upper veranda. Clean with regular sheet & towels changed. Great communication with the owner. Definitely recommend & would return. Might ask for room 101 as that has private balcony /seating

Recently refurbished, this is a simple hotel yet has many amenities one would not expect in that price range. The staff is helpful and quite informed. Rooms are clean if the furniture is a bit tacky. Location is very good - beach is within 400 meters. All in all - Very recommendable.

Loving it here in lock down went to see a local doctor today by the name of Harold Shipman he gave me the local jab I said doctor Shipman will I survive he said of cause you will your not over 65 got to see him in 12 weeks time for another jab loving it here at the hotel so friendly nice and clean WiFi is so good cleaner's are very good I can't say nothing bad why is it when I say I could murder a pint everyone runs off I feel like I am at home I've got plenty of head and shoulders in the bath room can't wait for lock down to lift so I can see my mate jack the ripper best hotel the sunflower is

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Do not recommend at all! I had call and asked if there is a sea view room with a double bed(not too beds as one and confirmed about it) and breakfast and the woman said yes, but i needed to pay for that asap as it was still available, so i went after 2-3 hours and paid. However when i went there the man in reception told that the breakfast is not included in that price, but on phone the woman said included. I said its ok and i paid, didn't really mind it. BUT at our arrival, i got on a big unpleasant surprise! I got a room facing the next building and a two beds. We went to the receptionist and the woman started giving stupid excuses and talking with BIG BAD attitude! She said it was the only one left and the hotel was already fully booked and they were thinking to send as to another hotel but she could send as to the next one(again balcony facing next building). I explained that i already paid for that 2 weeks ago and they should inform me if it was already free or full. Then i insisted that i booked and paid extra for the sea view double bed. The again stupid excuses! She said don't give too much attention to that man and that things can change last minute(YES BY TAKING MONEY AND NOT INFORMING). Then we took all our stuff and asked for money refund as we didn't find and expected what we paid and the woman took out the money but then immediately refused to give and said talk with manager and eventually offered the AVAILABLE room i paid but with two beds. Because of the whole story we got really tired and upset we accepted but i already said i will give review for that. She replied in a very sarcastic way''Ok, give!''. As we entered the room, we faced other issues. Toaster was having melt signs(from heating and looked not safe for use), the main living room window was whistle loud because windy, and on the living room we heard a loud noise of something felt down really bad and it was the wall heater. Mentioning the uncovered Main Electrics and POOR WiFi on all these. We were shocked! As we were trying to have a rest and sleeping they start to call from reception and got scared in the middle of our sleep. We answered and they were looking wrong person. After going out that RUDE woman start being sarcastic and said that we chose you(couple) to stay and to move to another hotel, because you are of this nationality (ALSO RACIST) and that the price normally of the sea view double is more than we paid(tried to make as feel guilty, that we did the mistake and she is doing as a FAVOR). The worst experience i ever had so far!

The Layiotis Hotel apartments are for those of us who like a nice place to stay in a convenient location with the option of cooking and having a little more than just a bed. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful. Layiotis Hotel is run by a family that makes you feel like family, even when you are only there for a brief stay. We've stayed there on numerous occasions and have enjoyed easy accessibility from the airport, convenience of close location to the beach and the Finikoudes promenade. It may not be a 5 star hotel but the ambiance and helpful staff makes it feel like one.

Great hotel to stay a couple of nights close to the airport. Construction next door last for a year or more already. Breakfast menu does not have any “health” food at all. Staff does not know what “porridge” or “hot oatmeal is”. Other than these minor things - a nice new hotel
