I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Omni Hotel in Montreal, Canada, and I must say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience. Several issues arose during my stay that greatly impacted my overall satisfaction. Firstly, the hotel's pool was not functioning, which was highly disappointing as it was one of the amenities I was looking forward to enjoying. This lack of functionality should have been communicated to guests in advance, as it played a significant role in my decision to book at this hotel. Moreover, the jacuzzi had a dirty appearance, which made it unappealing and unhygienic. I expected the hotel staff to ensure that such facilities were clean and well-maintained for guests to enjoy. Unfortunately, this was not the case. Another major drawback was the absence of smart TVs in the rooms. In this modern era of technology, it's becoming increasingly common for hotels to provide this feature as a basic amenity. Not having access to smart TV capabilities limited my entertainment options and left me feeling dissatisfied. Lastly, I was appalled to discover that my room had a strong cigarette odor. As a non-smoker, this was an unpleasant and uncomfortable environment to be in. I would have appreciated if the hotel had ensured that non-smoking rooms were truly smoke-free and maintained a clean and fresh ambiance. Considering the issues mentioned above, I cannot recommend the Omni Hotel in Montreal. The lack of a functioning pool, dirty jacuzzi, absence of smart TVs, internet connectivity problems, and the presence of cigarette odor in the rooms made for an unsatisfactory experience. I hope the management takes these concerns seriously and addresses them promptly to improve the overall quality of their guests' stay.
