GGuest UserWe stayed at the JW Marriott in June 2022 for a family vacation. Cons: The first night I woke every hour from the bed as it was extremely uncomfortable and hurt my back. I could feel the springs and woke up in pain. The next day they put a mattress topper on it which made it bearable but still the worst bed i have slept in in a hotel. I stripped the bed one night as my son had an accident and was disgusted to find the mattress looked old, dirty and sunken in. It really let down the whole room (which was otherwise gorgeous). I had ordered loose balloons for my Mother in laws birthday for her room upon arrival. These were just dumped in the room in a bunch and not actually untied losing the effect and making it a waste of money. Pros: The pool area is amazing, the cocktails are great and the whirl pool is warm enough to swim in even in winter! The pool with the fish was slightly cooler but I am told still heated. There are waiters that will bring your drinks to you and take your order. The sandy area is great for toddlers. Food & Drink at Chapter & Verse is amazing and the service was great. Misono is well worth a visit and was our highlight! Buffett breakfast has everything you could want however I have stayed at another Marriott hotel that allowed you to order your eggs to order. This would be a welcome addition here. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Shout out to Robert, Georgia and Johnathan. We had connecting rooms which was awesome but the door does open outwards and take up a lot of room in the small hallway. If you are not a member of Bonvoy it is well worth joining up at the beginning of your trip. Overall it is a beautiful hotel and we would return, however the bedding situation really let it down and needs to be upgraded.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel room is clean and housekeeping services are good. The only issue is that the car park is not free. Take note if you do plan to go to the ****** to play, always take a ticket when you enter the car park and when any of your travel mates have earned 5 tier points in the ****** with the star club card, go claim the free car park and you can save on paying for it. You can rent a car and go places like Yatala Pies and eat great pies.

CCraigExceeded my expectations. A fantastic resort that was walking distance to Heritage Stadium, where we went to see an AFL game. We had a King Spa room, it was spectacular. The Japanese restaurant at the resort was brilliant. The buffet breakfast was the best I’ve ever had and the staff at the resort were friendly and welcoming. What a wonderful experience and weekend away!! I could not more highly recommend a stay at this resort. A perfect weekend away!

AAnonymous UserPeppers's apartments have always been my target (actually under Accor). I have only experienced them once in New Zealand's Lake Tekapo in all these years, and I have never forgotten them. The interior of Peppers this time is still the same as my impression many years ago, and I was not disappointed. Location: It is right on the beachfront of Surfers Paradise, close to the beach, five minutes walk to the light rail, and three minutes to the nearest WWS supermarket; WWS in the circle is also five or six minutes away, and there is also a Coles within ten minutes' walk; downstairs is the commercial center, with all kinds of food and drinks; next to it is the Hilton / Ochard where I stayed last time Facilities: The kitchen facilities are relatively complete and new, very easy to use, with a full set of stoves, refrigerators, ovens, dishwashers, microwaves, and other equipment, including washing machines and dryers (see the pictures); just for this kitchen, I plan to cook in the house every day these days. The various semi-finished products in the supermarket are very convenient. I go out to buy them every day and bring them upstairs to cook directly. My teammates said that the scenery of the sea view restaurant outside is not as good as the first-line sea view without obstruction in our room. Room: I booked a one-bedroom apartment, about 120mm, but it is actually a three-bedroom apartment with the other two locked up. The balcony is very large, with a large dining table on the balcony, facing east, suitable for watching the sunrise in the morning, and hiding from the sun and watching the sea on the balcony in the afternoon; the master bedroom has a 1.8-bedroom bed (I asked about this and it cannot be separated into twin beds), the bathroom design is relatively reasonable, with a large walk-in closet, and relatively separated from the bedroom. The large window in the bathroom allows you to soak in the spa and watch the sea view; the living room and the master bedroom are also relatively independent, and you can move around independently in the living room with the door closed; open sea view kitchen Service: Serviced apartment with lobby, daily cleaning service available, public indoor and outdoor swimming pools, rooftop garden, barbecue facilities, gym, restaurant and other public facilities

GGuest UserStayed recently during the week so no noise from Cali beach club next door. In fact perfectly quiet once balcony door was shut. But hey, your in Surfers Paradise so you can't expect absolute silence. Rooms were a bit in need of a paint but so what. It was immaculately clean, smelt lovely and was cheap as well. Bathroom amenities smelt beautiful. Big containers of shampoo and conditioner and body lotion and bath gel/ hand wash. I didn't have to use any of my own supplies except toothpaste and toothbrush. The girls on reception were extremely kind and welcoming. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel very dated, and in need of refurbishment. All parts of hotel dirty and smelly. Id say little to no maintenance done on outside. Gardens dead, urgent need of all areas water blasted. Pool area very aged, with broken tiles. Not tidied up each day with chair cushions left scattered eveywhere. Inside rooms very smelly, like 40 years of scale cigarette smoke. 40 year old spa bath that you had to climb in to shower. TV that didnt work in bedroom. Not smart tv in lounge room, so no access to netflix etc only free tv. Booked in for 3 people. Only 1 bed made up. When we rung reception to have other beds made up, we were told it would cost extra. When we were in elevator, it stopped on another floor and a worker got in with a cleaning trolley. Clearly there was no room for him, but he just kept pushing his trolley into us, until we were jammed between the wall and his trolley so he could close the door. He was very arrogant and and clearly didnt care about us as guests. If you want a quiet nights sleep, this is not the place. As the building is 40 year old, original single glazed windows where you hear everything. Fire station, police etc just around the corner, so sirens constantly all day and night. Traffic noise also very loud. Overall id rate our stay as a 1, only because of the location. Very handly to surfers shops, beach and restaurants.

GGuest UserI have stayed at Novotel Surfers Paradise numerous times. I love the location most of all - Located directly above the Oasis Shopping Centre and less than 200m to the beach. My room today had amazing sea views. Car Parking is also really good as Novotel shares the shopping centres car park, I usally hate paying for parking how ever I feel its a fair price at $22 per day, unlimited entries in and out and its valid until midnight on the day you depart. The room is clean and a good size, the breakfast is one of the best hotel bueffet breakfasts I have had, I have traveled to many countries around the world - and Novotel's breakfast get my #1 vote. My only issue I have with Novotel Surfers Paradise is the time to check in - it can be absolutely terrible the wait times are often unacceptable, I made a comment in the lift just this morning about this, all the other guests agreed - its just too slow. This seems to be an ongoing problem as I have enountered it before - so i dont know what the problem is but I feel I'm not the only one that has this issue. Overall I still love Novotel Surfers Paradise, Trip.Com always seem to have the best price around by far making it a very good option for Surfer Paradise.

GGuest UserWe stayed in a 3 bed unit with our 3 grown kids and there was plenty of room for all of us. The extra bathroom was a complete bonus. Would have received 5 stars if the spa outside had been heated and if there had been security screens on the windows so we could leave them open. Great BBQ area and quietened down nicely at night. Pool is shaded during some of the day so able to extend our swimming time during the day. Easy walk to the beach and to the light rail stop.
