Lancaster Hotels with Bars

Lovely stay over the weekend while at a training course in Lancaster. The hotel is located in the centre of Lancaster so is really convenient with plenty on your doorstep. The hotel itself has had a refurb and has lovely modern clean rooms. The reception staff were extremely helpful particularly Chelsea who is a credit to the team.

This is an amazing place - a hotel which dates back and the layout reflects that! We were on the top floor under the roof at the top of three flights of stairs. [I am too old!]. The room was - as I say - under the roof with sloping ceilings with ”Velux” windows which would not stay open. Between the bedroom and bathroom was a diagonal beam just waiting to get my head [didn't!] Blinds in windows block the light. If you book direct rather than through an onlinebooker you get a free breakfast! If I visit again I would simply ask for a more normal and lower room. Staff were great.

A fantastic meal as always! This place never disappoints. The staff are fantastic, very hospitable and attentive. The menu offers a great selection of seasonal dishes and the Sunday lunch was one of the best we’ve ever had. Sublime! Well worth a visit!

Nice hotel at Lancaster with good facilities and spacious room. Just 10 mins by bus to go to town center. Bus to Lake District just right outside the hotel. Recommended for stay at Lancaster

Right alongside the River Lune in central Lancaster, this traditional pub serves real ales and hearty full English breakfast. We have just had a lovely four days with friends at the Mill. Our room was spacious with a massive, very comfortable bed. We awoke in the morning to the sound of sheep in the field next to the Hotel. Breakfast was lovely with friendly and helpful staff. The setting is perfect and we found it an ideal base for visiting the local area.

Amazing! Staff were helpful. Thurnham hall was within a beautiful and quiet setting and comprises spotlessly clean modern accommodation. Gym, pool and sauna were an added bonus with a high standard of attention to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Thanks for a great stay - will definitely come back when possible. : )
