This is a pleasant set of villas which are well equipped internally and externally. The positives are numerous; excellent location for supermarkets, not far from the town (although need a car), close to beach (5-10 min drive), local sand dunes which are very attractive, decent pool, jacuzzi, BBQ equipment, spacious rooms. Unfortunately there were several important negatives. The system is disorganised, and our pool was not heated despite asking. The agent had made a mistake with our booking and we had to move villas on our penultimate night which was disruptive. The area around the pool is EXTREMELY slippy which is quite dangerous. The villas are rather tired and ours had some kind of rising damp, with paint dust flaking off the walls and covering all our belongings. There were ants in the kitchen. Overall this is a decent place but well below what I would expect for the price.

Stayed here as a couple for 11 nights in a one bedroom Royal Villa (with heated pool) on a bed and breakfast basis. We stayed in villa 5-4 We came via Jet 2 The Villa We found this to be spacious, clean, modern and very well appointed and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The bed was huge and the pillows were very comfy. The shower was powerful and we had loads of hot water. There was a pod coffee machine and the hotel provided dishwasher tabs. We did cook in the villa a couple of times and we had all the equipment we needed The smart TV had access to Netflix, Disney, Amazon etc The villa also had its own private driveway for one car In the villa we had a pool and villa clean every other day - which consisted of new towels, full villa clean and new bedding - this was great You get villa towels and blue pool towels (which you can change with security), we also got robes and slippers The Pool The pool was ideal for our needs and we were glad we opted for a heated pool The Outside area It was lovely to relax by the pool. There were relaxing chairs, a table and four chairs and two sun loungers, a coffee table and a side table. Our villa had a perfect mix of sun and shade and was very sheltered from the constant breeze There is also an outside shower with hot water The roof area Again a lovely area. Warm jacuzzi, a very comfortable Bali bed with shade, a couple more sun loungers, a table and eight chairs with slatted shade and a barbecue area. The washing machine and airer was up there which was useful when we used It was a great area if you wanted to feel the breeze or see the sun The restaurant A large area with loads of seating. The staff in here were great Breakfasts were amazing - such a huge variety and choice - probably one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel Lunch - we had a couple of lunches. Burgers one day (one was a bit gristly) and fish on another day, which was better. Overall though we would definitely recommend Evening meal - we ate just once in the evening which was on a buffet basis, again this was good with a huge variety of choice. The carrot cake was especially good We didn't go half board as we wanted to explore other meals but the half-board option and cost of this from Jet2 would have been excellent value We never went hungry and would highly recommend! Spa We didn't use the spa (in a Royal Villa you get a free one hour access) but we did have a couples massage which was amazing. Booking early is essential to get a slot. The staff were amazing The ground Were very well maintained and always spotlessly clean, teams were always busy working The area The hotel is located south of Corralejo. There are footpaths everywhere so you don't have to walk on the road. Some are new - yellow resin and great to walk or run on. Some are older, worn tiles and these are a bit uneven in places We did numerous runs from the hotel and didn't have a problem with the surfaces We walked to Corraelj

We stayed in a Royal villa for 10 nights half board, booked with Jet2 Holidays and highly recommend this place. Check in with Karin was very thorough with lots of information, taken to our villa in golf cart then showed around the villa while she explained how everything worked. Accommodation Villa was excellent, just like the pictures on the internet! Clean and modern with lots of space. Lovely living area with 2 big comfy sofas, smart TV, speakers (Bluetooth or wired) & very good air conditioning. Nice clean kitchen with big fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher & plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses, utensils etc. Also had a washing machine (with airer and pegs) Given dishwasher tablets, washing machine detergent and bin bags. Bedroom was great. Comfy bed. Plenty of drawers/wardrobe space. No mirror in the bedroom (although there big mirrors in bathroom/living area) Nice bathroom with shower products and tissues included. Lovely shower with multiple heads (on top and on side walls with adjustable spray). Good pressure and no issues with hot water. The outside space is why we choose here though! Lovely good size private pool (with multiple sets of doors leading outside from the living room and bedroom. Table and chairs and sun beds by the pool. Amazing private rooftop with more sun beds, chairs, table, Bali bed and jacuzzi. Pool area didn't get the sun until 1pm but not an issue as the rooftop area was in the sun all day. Plenty of options for sun or shade at any time! Food Breakfast was great. All the things you'd expect plus fresh toasted sandwiches, omelette and eggs. Lots of cheeses, meats, lovely fruit, really good fresh bread, plus dessert section with cakes, biscuits, donuts and pastries. Dinner was included as we were HB. Never went hungry but the food was a bit mixed. The biggest issue is a lot of the buffet food wasn't very hot (they do have a microwave in the corner so we used this to heat the food up sometimes) They have theme nights (which are very loose!) but always had fresh pizza which was very lovely. The rest of the main options weren't really the kind of food we would normally choose but I recognise that's our preference. The highlight was the desserts though. Never enjoyed so many desserts at a buffet before. Carrot cake, almond cake, pear cake, apple cake as well as brownies, macarons and truffles & pick and mix. As I said earlier, we never went away hungry! Spa I had a foot massage and also full body 'anti-stress' massage. Similar prices to places in the town. Staff were very friendly and helpful in explaining differences in all the massages. Highly recommend the anti-stress massage! Location We knew it was a 40 min walk to the main town. But the villas are so nice it's hard to leave them! If you turn right out of the hotel and head towards the sea to a bike path that leads to town - much more scenic way to walk to town (plenty of chipmunks to greet you on the way!) 2 big supermarkets are less tha

We just got back from a great Xmas week at the Bahiazul. It was our second visit and I honestly think it was better than the first. We had villa 7/11 ( 13/4 last time ) the cleanliness of these villas are second to none . Even the pool guy came to clean the pool on Xmas day . It was our first time we have been away for Xmas and yes it did feel a bit weird sunbathing on Xmas day . The Xmas gala at the restaurant was fantastic. The food for the week was great and all the staff are very professional and friendly. The resort was pretty busy and I was surprised with the amount of families. In my opinion I don’t think it’s the kind of place for families as apart from having a pool there’s nothing else to do for kids . It’s quite a distance away from the town of Corralejo . The security guard can call you a taxi and it’s with you in minutes. It costs around 10 euros each way and that includes a tip . Two large supermarkets are just 5 minutes walk away and very handy for lunch snacks . All the staff are exceptional with Ivan and Alessandro our favourites. We would definitely return to the Bahiazul even if it is quite expensive but you get what you pay for .

As a special holiday, my family booked us into took us to the Bahiazul. Feeling safe and welcome is paramount at Bahiazul. The Middle Eastern architectural influences enhanced with blue and gold lead to a feeling of opulence. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort and its facilities were immaculately maintained. We stayed in a premium villa, 5.5. On entering the staff had prepared a welcome with bottles of champagne, wine, chocolates and charcuteries. The villa was totally modern, spacious and fresh. The marble finished bathrooms were immaculately maintained with luxury toiletries. The main bathroom housing the poshest toilet I’ve ever seen. The villa also spotted a luxury hot tub up on the roof, where there is also a sumptuous cabana, seating area and barbecue. You can also use the washing machine, with laundry capsules provided. A free laundry service came with this villa, however I hadn’t left enough time to make use of this, you need 48 hours. On my birthday, the house staff surprised me with flowers, a card and a bottle of wine. A special thanks goes to Monica, who helped me practice my Spanish 🤣. We were there on a a half board basis, the breakfast and evening meal choices were always fresh with plenty of variety. Staff were good at advising on what wines were on special offer, we often drank Yaiza Blanco Seco, which we usually got for €22. The airport will charge you €34 for this wine. My daughter and I made use of the free spa for 2, it was fabulous, again a very pristine and well maintained sanctuary. Our thanks goes to all staff who made this holiday a real memory. T

Arrived sat and was staying for a week was very excited about the holiday as it was a lot of money nearly £3000 for a 1 bed villa, I arrived and checked In we stayed in room 6-9 for reference incase anyone else gets that room, I woke up to a cockroach in the kitchen sink Sunday morning and reported to front desk they said sorry and that they would put stuff down the sink , I was not going to kick off cause stuff happens , I noticed the outdoor lights for the stairwell was disconnected and that the pool I had payed to be heated was still freezing so I stayed in the hot tub most of the time, when I moved the daybed upstairs on Friday night lots of cockroaches run from under it and then sat morning when getting ready to leave another 2 downstairs which I reported again and told “sorry” on arriving home and emptied my hand luggage a cockroach has came out and run under my washing machine I have rung hotel in Spain and told again sorry and just to kill it as I wasn’t sure if I should report to defra, this review is incase anyone is staying in room 6-9 that they are now definitely aware of cockroaches and definitely not what I was expecting for the money I payed , jet 2 are now aware aswell , on a plus the outside grounds was lovely but you can definitely see others when on the top terrace and you can se over into next doors villa so just be aware if you was paying for the privacy

Just spent a fabulous week here, what a great resort. Check in was no problem, seen to straight away and given a glass of prosecco. Then taken to our villa in their own golf cart vehicle. What's not to love in your villa?? Inside you have your living room area with a large TV, and built in Bluetooth speakers. 2 sofas, a well equipped kitchen, dining area, 2 toilets, your bedroom, a large shower. 4 sliding patio doors leading to your pool. An outside shower, 2 sun loungers, 2 deck chairs and table, and 4 chairs and table. Then upstairs leads to your own hot tub, Bali bed, 2 sun loungers, and BBQ area. So many different options to chill and relax. We stayed half board and I thoroughly recommend that. Dinners were delicious with plenty of choices, and the same with breakfast. Staff were so friendly and helpful also. If you want a holiday to relax and recharge your batteries, this is the place for you.

Overall, a good stay. The Premium villa was clean, spacious and well equipped. The villa pool was in the shade all the day, but that may be due to being November. The hot-tub was not inviting and looked like the water hadn’t been changed for some time. The restaurant on site served a very good buffet breakfast, lots of options and plenty os tables inside and outside. We only ate there on a couple of evenings, preferring to head into the town, but they hold various theme nights, the Moroccan night was very good, the American was not so good. It is a long walk from the resort to the town, especially the old town, we regularly walked 7 miles plus each day, but the walk is flat. Taxi’s are easy to sort with the security team booking it on your behalf and collection from your villa. The taxi ranks in the town are easy to find. The journey costs pretty much €7 each way. Enjoyed our time here, but after seven days we were glad to be heading home.
