The rooms are full of beds, but the bathrooms are average size and the rooms with kitchens are said to be slightly larger. Just like a one-room apartment, there are many people who stay for a long time, and it seems that all the guests are getting along well with the kind men at the front desk and the international student staff, just like a boarding house. This hotel is located right near the intersection of Shijo Horikawa. I checked in at midnight, but the front desk was kind and I was able to respond without a disgusting face. The room was clean and the amenities were substantial, and there was a USB port for charging, which was very helpful. However, probably because it was a premise to use a large communal bath, there was only a shower booth in the room. It may be a negative for those who want to slowly soak in the bathtub in the room. Personally, I was happy with the large communal bath, so there was no problem at all. It was also good that the transportation was convenient. From the Shijo Horikawa bus stop, you can go not only to Kyoto Station, but also to famous tourist spots such as Kinkakuji, Kiyomizu-dera, Toji, Nijo Castle, Arashiyama, and you can go to Gion and downtown Kawaramachi without changing trains. You will need to change trains once, but you can also go to Nanzenji Temple and Ginkakuji Temple. If you walk a little, you will find Hankyu Omiya Station and Arashiden Shijo Omiya Station, and it is very accessible for sightseeing or business. There is a Family Mart just south of the hotel, and there are 7-Eleven ahead, so you don't have to worry about a little shopping. The accommodation fee was reasonable and it is a recommended hotel.

Nice and clean hotel, good location to browse the city. The staff are kind and friendly. The rooms are not big but family of 3 with one big piece of luggage can easily fit in. Japanese style room is very charming but you might need some time to adjust to a mattress firmness. The breakfast selection is rather limited and repetitive.

The hotel looks dated from the outside, is very modern in the lobby with machines for checking in and out, and then the rooms are also quite dated. The hotel is quite big, and you can be unfortunate to get a room far away from the lifts. The rooms are decent and clean. The bathroom is okay, but there wasn’t much caulk next to the shower so the water from the shower that hit the wall was just sliding down underneath the bath… very strange. On each floor there is one room where you can get ice and water, it also has a vending machine.

It was a comfortable room with simple and necessary things. The roll curtain and bed cover in the room are different for each room, so I look forward to what room it will be every time. Amenities are in the lobby so it is a style to bring what you need. There is no bathtub and only shower. The coffee in the lobby is free at your favorite timing. I can read manga freely, so I was able to spend a leisurely time reading cartoons and working remotely in the lobby.

The location of hotel is in a walking distance from Kyoto Station. It is not close to the town 四條町. Every time when we go for shopping, we need to take a bus to the downtown. Easy access to anywhere by bus. The hotel staffs are very professional. The breakfast is highly recommended to book before departure. The hot spring, the room size, buffet breakfast, the service of reception are in a high standard. Highly recommended to the travelers who is planning to Kyoto. Interesting point: No shoes in this hotel. U need to lock your shoes in the locker before you walk in the hotel. They provided socks for you to wear.

Very pleased with the level of care put into this hostel. All rooms are extremely clean, and the beds are comfortable and quiet. Despite the rooms holding up to around 15-20 people, it is extremely quiet and the bed pods are dark. Shower area was extremely clean and we were provided fresh towels every day. There is a comfortable sitting area with free coffee and access to Netflix. We had a very comfortable stay here and I would come back !
