Awesome hotel in a great location. Friendly & courteous staff Would definitely stay at this hotel when we're in Kyoto again. Highly recommended!!

The place is ok, a bit far to go walking to all places. The room is just what you need, a bed to crush and a tub to shower. And some plugs to charge the phone. The breakfast is not ok, I live in China for many years, so nothing can surprise me, so is not that is weird. Is that is not tasty, mostly. I would use the money that the breakfast cost in here to go to a different place, a bit north (closer to the "things") that is more expensive but without breakfast. Or maybe going to a place a bit less conveniently situated, but with a great breakfast. This middle ground is not ok.

It is a valuable experience in our first Kyoto travel. It has kind and complete service and comfortable living environment. One thing that can be more better, the washing machine are only three in this inn, it does not quite meet the requirements of all the guests. Hope we can meet again someday!

Good location. Lots of shops around. Bike rental just across the street. Very close to the river

Recommended stay in Kyoto. Hotel is located one train station away from Kyoto station and the nearest station is about 10 mins walk from Exit 1. There were multiple food options nearby and it is walkable to the main shopping district as well (15-20 mins walk). Room is also clean and basic amenities were all provided.

Terrible service. The bed was as hard as a rock. When asked if they had anything to resolve this, the answer was a simple no. Not even a blanket to soften it could be shared. If I would still have been able to cancel the rest of our stay, I would have, but sadly that was not an option. With all the sleeping options in Kyoto, I would recommend you go and sleep somewhere else.

The hotel was clean and spacious, especially as a solo traveler. Public transport was in convenient walking range (5-10 minutes). If you don't mind walking a bit, you can also easily reach Gion in around 20 minutes by walking on the peaceful path along the river. The breakfast was fantastic! It was traditional Japanese breakfast, but they also offered bread, pastries and cereal if you prefer that.

Room cleanliness is fantastic and location is quite convenient.
