Irgendwie fand ich dieses Hotel charmant. Könnte mir vorstellen, dass bei den ganzen Skiwettbewerben in Kuopio hier viele Sportler absteigen (vermutlich aber nicht die Topleute). Die Skisprungschanze ist wirklich nicht weit entfernt. Ins Stadtzentrum bin ich aber meistens mit dem Auto gefahren. Das Hotelzimmer ist ausreichend groß. Die Betten waren allerdings schon ganz schön durchgelegen. Das Bad ist alles andere als modern, aber ausreichend groß. Die Hellhörigkeit zu den anderen Zimmern ist nicht so ganz ideal. Das Frühstück war eher einfach gehalten, hat aber alle wesentlichen Dinge wie Brot, Marmelade, Wurst, Käse, Müsli oder Rührei. Dazu einige weitere warme Speisen. Der Frühstücksraum hat aber auch irgendwie den Charme einer Jugendherberge. Das WLAN hat auch einwandfrei funktioniert. Kostenfreie Parkplätze gibt es auf dem Platz neben dem Hotel für die Hotelgäste. Ist das Hotel eigentlich noch Best Western oder gehört es mittlerweile einer anderen Kette an? Von Best Western habe ich nämlich nichts gelesen.
