An amazing location, within a beautiful setting. The facilities are plentiful, and the food offerings are spectacular. The bars offer unlimited drinks throughout the day, and Blue Domes has freshwater pools running throughout its core structure. The good offerings were expansive, and catered for all dietary needs. The only downside which I found was that the rooms were not sound insulated, and therefore as I was at the end of housing section the noice from the service road was slightly irritating. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend the location to family and friends.

It is a very nice hotel, the rooms are clean, spacious, the bar and drinks are great, but the food and appetizers are mediocre, the staff is helpful. The sea in the Kardemena area is perfectly clean, there is fish everywhere.

I returned back to England in July with my partner after spending a week at your Mitsis Blue Domes resort (we wish we had booked for longer!). We stayed in a private pool room which was exceptional, there was a guy that came to the pool a few times a day every day to ask us if we wanted a drink or anything from the bar, I think his name was Mondi, he was so lovely and kind and always had a smile on his face! He deserves a raise, or a bonus at least! :) The food in the main dining area was great at all 3 meal times and always a wide variety of choice. We also managed to book in 4 of the other restaurants that were available, we tried Greek a la carte, Pan Asian, Italian and South American, all of which were fantastic! Very tasty food and well presented. All in all, 10/10, EASILY!

My wife and i stayed at Blue domes middle of October 24, after staying at another Mitsis hotel last year we thought we’d give a selection hotel a try. All in all yes very happy with the hotel, the staff, the food etc, its looking a big worn in places but overall a very very nice place, we had a nice room upgrade upon arrival which was lovely, booked a standard garden view bungalow but had a sea view room instead, being a windy place the wind was a bit bad for few days but thats kos for you. You see bad reviews for hotels but we actually couldn’t see why especially for this hotel, you treat the staff well and they are lovely people, will we stay again, id say yes definitely, maybe bit earlier in the year but would definitely stay again. The room was really nice, the bed was super comfy, mini fridge stocked every day, didnt need the air con as was cool enough in the evening due to the time of year. It’s definitely worth pre booking the many al la cart restaurants before you arrive as these do get booked up in advance.

Recently came back from Mitsis Blue domes in Kos. This is a big place, with lots of walking up and down, which we didn't mind. This is not the usual Caribbean all inclusive resort but very reasonable. Check-in was very quick, no drinks whatever but couldn't be bothered. We had a double sea view room. Very spacious, comfortable bed, bathroom with shower and bathtub, nice toiletries, and breathtaking views indeed. Lots of eating options. From buffet, healthy and sweet corners, street food, a la carte restaurants. We managed to book all a la carte restaurants. All good, but our favorite was Destination Greek. We loved night/lobby bar. The only one offering branded drinks and waiter's service. We would like to specially thank Sabjana for her service with a very professional approach and very dedicated to the guests. We really enjoyed the beach, though it is pebbly, but water is crystal clear and refreshing. We didn't have a problem finding chairs, but they were so close to each other that we felt uncomfortable. In the summer, with temperatures of around 40 degrees, I doubt there will be sufficient shade. Can't comment on the pools as we are not pool people, but they are plenty. We visited Kos town using the bus in front of the hotel. Well worth it. Blue Domes is a lovely place, but senior management has to step up and make it work as true 5* resort. All potential is just there. The only senior manager we've seen and spoken to was Stoyan, manager of the a la carte restaurants. Special mention again for Sabjana from the night bar and our waiter Vasilis in the Destination Greek.

Beautiful hotel and fantastic staff. Highly recommended. Stayed for 10 nights towards the end of October having a sea view room. Pros: The hotel afforded amazing sea views with islands in the distance. Loved just chilling on the balcony or the main bar and soaking it all in. Rooms are fine for 3 people, clean and with super comfy beds. Great layout of the resort, so many places to eat and drink or lounge in the sun. Never got bored. Staff were amazing. Especially Sabi in the main bar and Chris is the pool bar- really made our holiday. All the a la cartes were great and service was top notch. Favourites were the Greeks and Pan Asian. Beach had plenty of loungers, great gyros and pizza takeaways and well run Beach bar Easy to get to kardemena by bus from the hotel. 2€ each way. Selection of cocktails was great. The sea was lovely and warm and full of fish Cons: poor buffet. Food selection not great, too many people to serve and not enough order or servers unlike other mitsis hotels we stayed in. Pizza oven was nice however. Loungers and mattresses not in a great state, the norida next door had much better ones Really needs a heated pool. Far too cold to use them at this time of year. Not great for anyone with mobility issues- very hilly and main lift became out of action whilst we were there. Shower in the toilet isn’t really suitable. Norovirus rife this year - half our party had it at some stage. Should be more hand sanitizers around and also in the buffet. Maybe should offer disposable gloves. Overall we all said this was our favourite mitsis so far. The location, views and staff made it a really enjoyable holiday

Myself and my friend have just returned from a week at Mitis Blue Domes. Due to the reviews we very nearly cancelled our trip. We are both so glad we didn’t. Honest review coming up. We didn’t suffer any illness. We washed our hands and sanitised as normal and used straws for drinks as much as possible. I had fresh fruit both morning and evening and used the tap water to brush our teeth. Staff just want to make sure you have a good time and enjoy the Island of Kos. Interact with them. From talking to the staff they are acutely aware that some great staff left last year and the staff replaced them are not up to par but the original staff are putting 110% to make sure guests have a great time. The food was fantastic. Just personal preference the Pan Asian wasn’t great but other A la Carte restaurants and the brunch are amazing food. Stamatia, at brunch, truly wants everyone to have a great experience. We heard her telling a table that every table she treated like her VIP’s. The waiter, Paolo, in the A la Cartes was attentive and informative about the menu. We ordered several items and shared them and asked for plates to accommodate this. This gave us a great insight to lots of the menu items. Whenever our water or Prosecco went slightly low they were topped up, without being asked. The Greek street food, gyros and souvlaki are amazing. I read comments about non branded alcohol. We tried a variety of drinks. I think in the time we were there we had two dud drinks. On one occasion I asked for a drink to be made strong. It nearly blew my head off Our room was kept spotless. There were times we didn’t have items in our mini bar. We rang reception and they were promptly delivered. Sunbeds were plentiful (albeit we accept in high season this would be different) Pools are cool but refreshing The beach is a must and if you can grab a mask and snorkel the fish are so close to the beach and are literally in touching distance. Entertainment in the evening was great. There was no daytime entertainment around the pools which is a shame. Quite frankly we had an amazing time of relaxation, quality service and food. Would recommend.

Me & my partner have just returned from the Blue Domes and we’re already planning to return next year. I was a little skeptical due to some negative reviews - but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food was plentiful and there was always something to cater us individually. I really enjoyed the “grab and go” aspect. I am a self confessed fussy eater & I was able to eat (and enjoy) my food daily! I wasn’t a big fan of the buffet, but there were plenty other options - so this didn’t pose an issue. We had no issues with getting a sun-bed at any part of the day. There was always vacant sun-loungers which was great. Unfortunately I didn’t get the name of our cleaner (we stayed in room 638), but our room was always cleaned to a very high standard. Fresh bedding every other day, new towels twice per day - it was delightful. The hours they work and the standards they have (the cleaners) is actually unbelievable- thank you. Now, there were two staff members who really did make our stay a 5* experience - Maria & Martha. I 100% recommend ‘The Garden Pool Bar’, this was my go-to pool (daily). The catalyst was solely due to the service provided by Maria & Martha, they really do have that ethos of “going above and beyond” for their customers. The ambiance they create is always welcoming & comfortable. Thanks Maria & Martha for making our holiday one to remember - we will miss you (& the cats ). I really do believe, that if it wasn’t for Maria & Martha I’d be more inclined to go to another resort (as I like trying new places). But due to their service, I will return.

Here goes …… honest review Meet and Greet was fantastic …. Arrived late evening ….. first impressions count and all of my concerns were quickly diminished. Bungalow sea view was clean and a beautiful view. Mini fridge stocked daily. We ate at the South American restaurant which was terrible … terrible service and terrible warm food. Having booked an al la carte I would have expected the food to have come out hot. We left the food alongside multiple other people who sat beside us in fact 4 other tables. Such a shame. Buffet was hit and miss over the next few days. Thank god we found Brunch …. The food was fantastic ….. we finally found our saviour of a decent meal of the day. The service of staff ….The main lady provided a first class service. we found couldn’t do enough for you ….. until you had given her a review and a decent tip. The next day oh how the service had changed. Concentrating on all those that hadn’t given reviews and giving those the service we had received the prior day. Side note people when eating like to finish their food before being hounded to give reviews and also expect consistency in service. People Like Menus ! They don’t want to use their phones all the time and whilst these are available I feel like you should be offered them. People being forced to use phones to scan for a menu is shocking. What impression does this give our children. Meal time is all about coming together and holidays are at times a way of doing this: We found the Italian and Greek restaurants were relatively good for food and service was ok. Beach was lovely although rarely see any waiters to bring drinks. Entertainment in the evening was absolutely fantastic … the singers were simply brilliant. 5 star. Main bar the male waiters were attentive and more on the ball than the female waitresses. Finally the drinks …… only at the main bar are you able to get branded drinks which was unexpected being an ULTRA all inclusive hotel. The bars dotted around the resort looked like they had no stock what’s so ever often only one bottle on display ….. when asked for a branded drink at one of the other bars it was never possible. Would I return? I would yes. The hotel is good enough for a quick get away and now that I know the little faults I feel like I Could over look these for a quick get away. Management …. You need to get on top of the service with all of your staff and ensure that it is consistent for everyone who stays at your hotel. Branded drinks need to be available at all Bars Menus need to be offered first rather than being told to get our phones out. And Al La Carte restaurants need to serve HOT food. And lastly we are all happy to write reviews but in our own time.

Beautiful resort, excellent food, good cocktails. The resort is spectacular, but the detail is lacking.. I wouldn’t say this was 5 star, but for Greece, this is a very good hotel. We had a lovely week away with our baby, the hotel is very baby friendly, providing an excellent cot bed and steriliser. The kids area and children’s team are great!!!! We really enjoyed the week. Areas that let the resort down and need attention: Rooms are tired, bathrooms need attention due to dirty tiles and over grouted tiling. Toilet flushes part broken. Pillows in room are not comfortable.. look fluffy but are in fact flat. The pools are very cold, too cold for me personally, but I understand heating them would be challenging. Whilst they have golf buggies available to take you around the resort, these are often not available or you have to wait for them for extended period of. When we were picked up one day we were told to hurry hurry because they were busy, I don’t want to be told to hurry hurry when I’m on holiday and I have a baby. The resort is definitely not suitable for people who are unsteady on their feet have issues walking or maybe have prams that need to be wheeled around, you will find yourself having to take long walks around the resort to avoid stairs. The resort is on a hill. The staff.. what a mixed bag. Some of the staff were very kind and friendly, but most, sadly were glum faced and some were rude. The American food bar was particularly miserable. Also presentation and cleanliness wasn’t to a high standard with staff.. simple things like dirty shoes made it miss the mark for me. For me, the attention to detail wasn’t there for the rating and cost.

Just got back from a lovely week with my partner at Mitsis Blue Domes. After reading the negative reviews I was a bit worried but we ended up have a lovely, relaxing week (mostly). The food options were great - particularly the American & Greek street food stands which we used during the day. We had dinner in the Brunch, South American, Italian, Asian & Tex-Mex a la carte restaurants and all food was really tasty (apart from the South American - we felt the food was very average here). Due to concerns about the sickness bug, we avoided the buffet completely during our stay. There was a good range of cocktails on offer which was great, however, the bars often ran out of bits so couldn’t always get the cocktails we wanted. We mostly went to the pool bar in the evenings as felt the night bar was very crowded and you could still hear the entertainment from the pool bar. The room was spacious and had amazing sea views (we had a twin sea view room) and it was cleaned daily. The cleaners were very friendly and everything was spotless. Beds were comfy and had a large tv with Netflix which was nice. The pools were all kept clean during our stay and we never struggled to find a sun lounger. Same for the beach, we always got a sun lounger and the beach was really relaxing. The sea is nice & clear and there’s loads of fish which is great for snorkelling. The main area for improvement was staff attitudes. Whilst some staff were friendly, the majority had bad attitudes and it felt like they didn’t want to be serving you. I did see some guests be unnecessarily rude to staff so I can understand how that would demotivate, however, they shouldn’t take it out on guests who are polite and appreciate their service. As the week went on, I felt they got a bit friendlier the more they saw us. Another small issue was a sewage smell that appeared at night. Fortunately it wasn’t a constant smell but we’d often get wafts of it here and there every night on our balcony. Not sure where the smell was coming from. Unfortunately, my partner got sick towards the end of our holiday so we couldn’t enjoy our last day. Think he might have picked up the sickness bug going around. Overall, we had a good holiday up until my partner got sick, however I don’t think we’d return. The hotel is definitely not as bad as some reviews make out, we felt the rooms / food / facilities were 5 star but unfortunately the service wasn’t.

On reflection of this hotel, it's definitely not a 5-star resort!!! Some of the facilities are lovely. However, minor details let it down. The food in all restaurants is very nice, our favourite being the Mexican. Buffet restaurants have plenty of choice and something for everyone. The letdown for me was the drinks, never reaching 5-star standard (however the wine in the ala carte restaurants is fab). The beer is dreadful. Surely a resort like this can serve you up bottled beers aswel as draft and a few different choices. You get bottled beer in your mini bar in room which is fine. Staff are fab, read plenty of reviews about them being rude & not helpful. Definitely not true!!!! Amazing staff. Our break was ruined by an outbreak of Noravirus which had flooded the resort, no fault of the hotel. This is something out of their control. Overall a decent experience, but let doen by a few minor details.

The friendliness and enthusiasm of the team is next level. Whenever we needed assistance, they helped with big smile. I will go back again for sure. Food: 5 star. Drinks: 3.5 star. (Cocktails are made with cheap fruit extract instead of fresh juices, and they are quite cheap. Also no egg white in the whisky sours. Understandable for an all inclusive resort, but the food quality is great. Relaxation and ability to disconnect: 5 star. Team: 5 star.

Lovely hotel all the amenities you could ask for and first class service from all the staff at the Mitsis Blue Domes. Everything is kept spotlessly clean. Lovely rooms and swimming pools are lovely - the beach is only a minute away and the scenery is absolutely beautiful - will definitely be coming back.
