From the start of our stay, we truly had a 5-star experience. From the food to the staff, everything here at this hotel was amazing. The hotel is situated away from the main town of Kos which for us was lovely as the beach / hotel was quiet and you are away from all the noise. However, to get to Kos town you will either have to walk (30-40 minutes) or take the bus (it is right outside the hotel and its €1.50 one way). You can also take a taxi but as we enjoyed the walk, we ended up walking most nights. The restaurant here is amazing, verging on Michelin star. Would definitely recommend trying the brunch menu! The breakfast buffet was stocked very well, with lots of variety for everyone. The gym is somewhat well-equipped, not for your avid gym goes but equipped enough to have a good workout. There is a proper gym a 10-15 minute walk away if you really needed one but the one at the hotel does the job. The staff restock water, Powerade and towels everyday in the gym fridge so you can enjoy your workout. The spa was amazing, We booked a 75-minute Candlelight massage (definitely try it) and it was very relaxing, the staff in the spa are respectful and kind. The spa facilities are well equipped with a sauna, steam room and spa pool. The stars of the show and what makes this hotel so worth is the attentiveness and kindness of the staff. They truly look after you and try make your stay as pleasant and easy as possible. They give lots of recommendations (what restaurants to eat at in town and places to see) and provide lots of helpful information. We enquired on how to travel to Zia at the reception with a lovely lady and she gave us a bus timetable and when we came back in the evening we were greeted by another receptionist asking how our trip to Zia was. It took us by surprise as we had not encountered the second receptionist earlier. This truly showed us the attentiveness of the staff and how they go out of their way to make you feel so welcome. If we could rate this hotel higher than 5 stars we would. Thank you for having us and we will be back next year.

This is a beautiful hotel and the infinity pool is stunning! However unless you are willing to wake up and trek down to pool before 8am you will struggle to get a sun bed. Regardless of the beauty of this hotel I found the majority of the staff extremely unhelpful and rude. They clearly had no interest in their job and I found for a 5 star hotel I was constantly having to ask for stuff that was missing. We were all inclusive and during breakfast/lunch/dinner I found we were regularly left waiting for service of drinks and a lot of time we went without. Likewise with cutlery often the tables were set but if not I had to go looking for staff for cutlery etc. I found the bar staff in the main bar to have a horrible attitude with one rolling their eyes when we ordered drinks (after leaving us waiting for 15 minutes until I put my hand up to get his attention, regardless of making eye contact with me multiple times before this). There was one late evening when we arrived back at the hotel when there were multiple bar staff standing looking at our table without service so my partner went to order drinks at the bar. While he was there he witnessed one member of staff hand the tip jar to the bar man who proceeded to place it in front of a customer who appeared to be by himself and very intoxicated. The bar man told the man that he needed to start tipping. This is disgraceful carry on from a 5 star hotel and it was upsetting to see how the staff blatantly took advantage of the state of intoxication. I also found the young lady who handed the tip jar to the bar staff in this incident to be unfriendly while she was serving at the beach bar, as if we were an annoyance. We are quite generous with tips but I found that the staff who’s service was so poorly were the same members expecting. Among other instances of rudeness there was one particular incident that occurred at the pool restaurant where a male member reacted to me asking for a plate. This member of staff rose his voice and very aggressively informed me that the plates were there and pointed to the small plates. I calmly informed him that I wanted a large plate where he shouted at me to be more specific. I couldn’t believe how he had spoken to me as I could never imagine speaking to another person let alone a paying customer like so. I turned to my partner who was also in shock at how I had been spoken to. The staff member came back out with plates and continued to very angrily inform me that the next time I ask for something that I should be more specific about the plate. He kept going until the point where I simply found myself apologising to him and saying nothing else as I was embarrassed by his completely out of pocket reaction to a very polite request for a plate. Following this incident I got so upset that I began to cry at the table as I couldn’t believe how I had just been treated. (again it is a 5 star hotel I feel as though nothing was ever at hand plates, cutlery, drinks etc. yet staff ha

I never usually write reviews but always rely on them myself so I felt the need to write one to share my experience. I was so excited to come here after reading so many positive reviews but the latest ones which I wanted to ignore sadly were very true! The hotel is definitely not a 5 star, the room we were given (sea view bungalow) was very tired and in huge need of a facelift. Pictures enclosed. Areas around the complex were in desperate need of attention, broken tiles, sharp steps not great when you have small children. Previous 5 star hotels I’ve stayed in ensure pool areas are washed down and the rubbish cleared every day but it looked like the hotel was very short staffed as pool areas were sticky and not had any attention on them. The drinks were watered down, and only local brands used. We actually bought our own spirits and drunk these throughout the holiday as the headaches were not worth it! The pre- booked restaurants were nice, our fav being the Pan-Asian. But you have to book these way in advance as you won’t get a space. The main restaurant we ate at for breakfast was ok but often they would run out of stuff, simple juices were not available daily. Having had a chat with a member of staff he said this past yr the hotel has gone really down hill and he was embarrassed having to tell guests that simple items were unavailable. In the end we went into the nearest town and had some gorgeous meals at Avli. Not what you ideally want to do when you have paid a premium for all inclusive. I really hope the management read these reviews and listen as it could be a great hotel if they spent some money to give it a refresh and make the experience more premium.

Let me start by saying that the hotel is perfectly maintained, immaculately cleaned, has surprisingly complete fitness room with up to date equipment and several swimming pools. If you are looking for a sport’s holiday, you have more than can be wished for. We have teenage kids and it is nit easy to find a hotel where they can thrive (you usually get more entertainment for younger children). However, at Neptune, there is so much for them to do, we hardly saw them: football, waterpolo, initiation to windsurfing, diving, tennis courts, mini golf (for free, mind you). There is also a very complete and well maintained games room. Finally, the initial motivation for our hotel choice was the fact that you can also take catamaran classes (for an additions’ fee, but so hard to find anywhere else and our younger son does yachting). The rooms are always cleaned in a timely manner, I think it is the first tome in my life I didn’t need to complain about that. Finally, if I really needed to give some constructive criticism, the food could be a little bit mire diversified and elaborated.

A wonderful place, even though it's large, it is well-structured and well-distributed. People do not all gather in the same spot, thanks to the five pools, the beach, and the entire island to explore, they easily spread out. We were in a sea-facing room, and hearing the sound of the sea as soon as we woke up was something wonderful, not to mention the sunsets and the view. Something unique. All the services are flawless, from the always varied buffet, to the staff always attentive to restocking the buffet to ensure nothing is missing, impeccable cleanliness. Everything is clean and well-maintained. I could go on writing a poem of positivity; everything was 100% impeccable and perfect, nothing to complain about.

The price was very good for the apartment which had 2 bedrooms a kitchenette with fridge and kettle but no cooking facilities which suited us very well . cereal and fruit is all we needed for breakfast and then eat out for evening meal. A bathroom with shower. Towels changes every couple of days. Maid service every day emptying bins and tidying bed. which were changed twice during our 10 day stay. No Tv available and no seating area or lounge just the 2 bedrooms. We had a big balcony with sun from morning till night which was wonderful although not private as you could see all the other guests on theirs.Good English breakfast available which we enjoyed. Snacks throughout the day. Only 5 minutes walk down to the beach where there are plenty of bars and restaurants. It was fairly quiet coming to the end of the season but open everywhere. Staff at Origin very friendly especially Tigga who, worth her weight in gold,. was amazing always there to greet and have a chat. Everywhere was clean. The pool was appreciated and sunbeds always available, cold yes but i loved it. Aircon on was an extra cost but we didn't use it. It's on a main road so can be quite noisy if balcony doors are kept open. Payment for safe was not refunded it was a one off payment . Masks were only necessary when going into shops but staff had to wear them most of the time. Hand sanitizer available everywhere and encouraged. Felt very safe re Coronavirus precautions and preparations. All in all Origin is a fun place to stay great location great price so would probably return there again if returning to Kardamena.

This hotel is not 5* and I don’t think it is 4* either, in my opinion I think the hotel is a good 3* at most. The reason for this follows, positives for the hotel are that the transfer from the airport is about 15 minutes so no sat on an old coach for hours, the sunsets here are fantastic and the staff are very nice and pleasant. You are delivered to your room via a buggy system which is a little different, and all inclusive was fine with some cocktails included with average beer and wine without limits, well at least until 11pm where it stops, and you must pay. The food is good with fresh fruit and salad in abundance, the cooked food was nice although the fish all tasted the same, but pizza, burgers, kebabs and other cooked food were very tasty. The à la carte restaurant was free and you just paid for your drinks, that said neither of us liked the food as it was over seasoned and the same as the main restaurant. The hotel is very tired and needs a lot of updates and cleaning to improve the star rating, the cleaning standards are low, the bath was very dirty with mould to the edges rubbish under the bed. The towels are changed every two days and beach towels once a week not daily as other places. The pool is nice but the area around the pool is dirty and very slippy where the slime / moss is, I witnessed a couple of people slip quite badly not safe at all. Sunbeds are grubby and are in desperate need of a clean. There is a supermarket opposite that is well priced for water and snacks as well as other stuff, there is also car and bike hire but I never used so cannot comment on how good they were. We used the coach that could be caught from directly outside the hotel for 10 euros each return to Kos town. Nowhere close enough to walk so taxis would be needed. The beech is a short walk but was disappointed when I reached it as there was piles of seaweed on the beach as well as broken sunbeds and parasols with other allotted rubbish piles at the back of the beach in a kind of cove area. The hotel does suffer from constant plane noise as it is on the flight path, that said you do get used to the noise, the other complaint is the constant fuel tankers that rumble past the hotel to what I think is a nearby port transporting fuel I presume to the airport, these are as often as the planes so be careful crossing the road to the beach. I hope this helps with your selection; I am not completely disappointed but will not stay here again.

GGuest UserJust returned from a week half board at the diamond boutique with my husband. Everything about the hotel is perfect, it is probably one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at and we will definitely be back. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and made an extra effort decorating our room and breakfast table for my husbands birthday while we were there. The food is incredible, the pool has a lovely chilled vibe with waiter service to the sunbeds. We personally enjoyed the walk into the town which is about 0.6 miles. The only two small negatives we had were the price of food and drinks at the pool bar however I do feel they are reflective of the quality of you are getting, could just be quite an expensive day if you wanted a few cocktails by the pool and a bit of lunch. We took to going over the road to the Lenaki apartments for lunch and a drink as it was much cheaper. The other being if we returned I would opt for bed and breakfast instead of half board. The food at dinner was incredible a 5 course meal to chose from however there wasn’t much of an atmosphere at dinner we were often the only guests there as I feel the selection of restaurants is Kos is so vast most people were eating out. Would recommend anyone visiting Kos to go to the hotel you won’t be disappointed.

Just returned from a 2 week stay in the Aegean house apartments. I travelled with my partner and my 15 year old daughter. The room we were allocated was exactly what we requested , which was a 1st floor apartment with a pool view. The room was very nice and clean. However, my only suggestions would be it can do with a little up dating with extra electric points and maybe a bit more storage for your clothes. The staff were very friendly and always made you feel welcome. The bar staff in the day and night were fantastic and always very chatty. Bar prices were very reasonable and the food a decent price and as always nice food. Be aware that people did reserve their sun beds in the morning with a towel. Therefore, you had no choice but to do the same if you wanted a sun bed for the day. Aegean houses are a good ten minute walk to the beach. My only complaint which has nothing to do with the hotel is that there is a massive cycle lane along the main walk way, with little space for pedestrians to walk in a save place. You were constantly beeped out by the cyclist to make way for them as they drove by. Lovely relaxing holiday

This hotel is amazing! The rooms are spotlesss and very modern with good aircon and a lovely sea view balcony. The restaurants- MAKE SURE U BOOK BEFORE U GO! Med- The med is amazing, the food was lovely and the service was just as good. George made our time at the med really enjoyable with his bubbly and welcoming personality. Dusk- The dusk offers Japanese food, the shrimps are amazing I highly recommend! The noodles could do with abit more flavour as they are quite bland but other than that it was really nice. Den-I was most looking forward to eating at the den however I was quite disappointed! They give u loads of raw meat and you cook it yourself. However the problem with this is you’re cooking meat in the dark and unable to see if it’s cooked or still raw! I feel like they should cook the pork and chicken and then we can heat it up to how we like it. Apart from this the entertainment was amazing every night and really enjoyed it. The pools- There are so many pools and they are all lovely, really comfy beds some with shade and some without, they even have beds that are partially in the water which is where we spent most of our time. Overall I’d definitely go back! 9.8/10! Thank you very much- 1201 Kieran and Demi :)

Best hotel we've ever stayed in. Food was great, and not the same every day. All service staff were incredible. Eventhough alot of people do the classic towel-on-sunbed-trick, we were always able to find two sunbeds. Very close distance to the cozy Kardamena center, with nice resturants and beaches. The bus for Kos is easy, cheap and has a functioning cooling system for the seated. Only thing that could improve is the TV and the internet. However this does not at all take away a star for us. I would always highly recomend this hotel to anyone!

The Grecotel Luxme Kos Imperial is a stunning hotel. The grounds are beautifully manicured, the pools are well maintained and the food for an AI was really delicious and varied. The staff are some of the friendliest we've ever had the joy to meet and despite the volume of guests they always had a smile on their faces. It would be a nice touch to be given a map of the resort and more information on what was on offer for each board type. We didn't know there was a chocolatier until someone told us just before we left! We stayed in room 359 which was directly behind Grecoland. We booked a limited sea view which it certainly had, but in retrospect I would have paid more to be in a front row room with a wider view of the Ocean. We went during the last week of the school holidays and it was exceptionally busy. Too busy for us and we won't be going away at this time of year again. The sun loungers were indeed all 'reserved', despite the rules, by 6am every morning and I had an altercation with another guest after moving their towels. I had been sitting behind their unused reserved loungers for 5 hours before I moved them, and turned out they were sitting on another 5 loungers opposite and were planning to move to the other side for the afternoon shade. Unbelievable. We never struggled to get loungers by the beach though, and it's quieter and nicer there anyway! The pools are salty which takes some getting used to but it's ok and the kids just wear goggles. We would have loved to watch some of the entertainment but it didn't start until 10pm which made for a very long evening if eating earlier with the kids. I'd highly recommend the hotel look to bring it forward to 9pm. We didn't end up seeing any of it :o( There was a kids disco at 8:15 - 9pm but it was in the conference room in the hotel and there were no lights or anything and the seats were all set up conference style. They could move this down to the bar area and use the PA/Lights set-up there which would be much more fun and the adults could grab a drink at the bar. HEAPS more fun all round. Not the hotels fault but be weary that there is pretty much nothing to do outside of the hotel. There is a (very) small shop over the road for a few bits but the hotel shop is inordinately expensive. I'm talking 35e for a bottle of Nivea sun cream! Also, if you're relying on Taxi's be prepared to wait over an hour to get a taxi back from Kos Town. Some people we spoke to said it took almost 2hrs on some nights. I would highly suggest the hotel look to put on some shuttle buses to ferry people to/from the kos throughout the day/night. It needed be free but it would make a huge difference as we found the regular bus very unreliable. After two horrendous experiences we just forwent leaving the hotel and stayed by the pool/beach for the remainder of our holiday. We booked some experiences via the Viator Ap and Kos4All, both of which were significantly cheaper than doing it via Tui. The Grecoland kids club was fa

GGuest UserThe hotel is exactly as illustrated in the photos and reviews. It's a decent hotel, close to centre of the capital -within a 7 min walk- staffed with polite and helpful people. It was really clean and there is an everyday cleaning policy. There is also a 24h reception which is really needed in a case of a wierdly scheduled flight. I rate it with a 4/5 cause the breakfast could be updated. Thank you for the wonderful stay, I will definitely choose it again for my next visit.

GGuest UserWhat was Kos a surprisely fun island for a week and what had we a great weather in the last week of October. We have had many Greek islands and all have their own character, but Kos is certainly at the top 3. Hotel Atlantis is a good hotel for the price we paid for it. Rooms were dated and could be renovated, but everything was all and worked, we had a family room with his two, not very needed with his two, but now we had each a private clothes room and a third room where we were sleeping. All in clusive was great, for everyone enough of what you want.

We have been at Zephyros hotel for a week, I have to say it was a great experience, the staff and the owner very very friendly, I have no words to describe how welcome we felt. In special I want to thank Vasili (I am sorry if I spell the name weong) great owner, amazing character, very pleasant, always happy to help and answer all our questions, every evening we wouldn’t go back to our room without an extra drink from him, the room was nice and clean, small but nice, fridge , tv, balcony with an amazing sea view, the mornings were like a dream. I kindly recomend this place for everyone who wants to have a great and relaxing holiday, I will defenetly come back here , and trust me you won’t regret chosing this place. Just enjoy what this place has to offer you for your vacation, everything is just a small walk distance from the hotel… Enjoy and thank you again to all the staff and in special to Vasili, kalimera❤️

DDynamicDuo381Things we like ✅ ●Location is great! 20 minute walk from the harbour, right opposite the marina, close to Old Town and 5 minutes if that to paradise beach. ●Fabulous breakfast. Lots to choose from. During our stay (1 week), this diminished every day. By the last day, it was very poor. No coffee, no juice, lacking in bread, eggs and jams. Condiments were often empty. When asked why and for more, the male older member of staff just said 'it is cheap, it is finished'. ●Free air con. However, room gets VERY warm as there is no window. Guess this is why air con is included. ●Acceptable for a short stay. Things we don't like ❌ ●Cleaning is poor. 4 squashed and dead mosquitos on the bathroom wall when we arrived. ●Balcony very dirty. Covered in soot from the cars below. Never cleaned. I used a towel to clean this and it was filthy. Images attached. ●Room is VERY warm as there is no window. Thank goodness though for free air con! ●Very uncomfortable mattress. No bed Protectors and it isn't a proper mattress so a weeks stay was a challenge! ●Being watched and followed when taking breakfast items. Staff ate horrendous. ●THE rudest staff members ever. So called managers never smile, never greet you and go out of their way to be nasty. Never greeted, never smiled. Never said good morning. Followed us around during breakfast. Grunting, miserable and incredibly unhelpful. ●No toiletries. Not even hand soap. ●No new loo roll given to us during our stay. Had to ask and when asked, the complained about staff member was very rude indeed. ●Towels small and meagre. ●Bathroom drain did not function properly so the floor was always drenched for hours after a shower. ●Pressure and temperature hit and miss. ●Got a blanket as was cold during the stay, on our penultimate night, the cleaner came in, didn't clean the room but took away the blanket!? ●Downstairs toilets often without loo roll and very dirty. Like a forgotten space! Sink full of sand and dirt. ●Fridge turns off when card no in slot and when you are out so everything gets warm, the room gets VERY warm and it takes a while for the fridge to power up and get cold again. Suggestions ●Read the reviews! The most recent ones are VERY poor. ●Train/hire new staff. ●Renovate the bathroom. ●CLEAN! ●Hire an English speaking member of staff. A friendly one ideally. I have made a formal complaint to *********** about the male 'manager' here and cleaning issues.
