Really great stay. The staff are very welcoming and professional. The superior room was big and clean. Hotel is right on the beach in Tanote Bay with good snorkeling out front. The Buddha dive school next door was super. Went on 4 dives. Location is on the opposite side of the island from the pier, so a little out the way from the main areas. Would be helpful to rent a scooter to get around. Overall, no complaints. Would stay again.

An incredible resort, delicious breakfasts, super friendly and wonderful staff. The lunches and dinners weren't very expensive but they were so delicious! The rooms we stayed in were small pods with beds and a shared bathroom in the middle, but for being in the middle of a jungle the number of bugs was so low inside the rooms. The beds are soft and they give you free water and coffee every day and have refreshments at very fair prices at reception. Amazing snorkeling - you're at a coral reef already! They rent out snorkels , but it would be better if you brought your own. And it's in Tanote Bay, so you can swim out and jump off the rock all you want! Renting a scooter was very simple and inexpensive. The beach isn't very long and it's a Pebble beach so make sure you wear your sandals. But the island is small and boat tours around the island to other beaches aren't expensive.

This hotel Is located on one of the best beaches for snorkeling but far from shops and restaurants. However you can ride a bike to all other locations on the island. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We lived in bungalow with a good sea view. The room is small and very basic however very authentic. Cleaning was done every day.

Very nice trip to Tonate Bay! Montalay Beach Resort is a small little hotel tucked away in the hills behind the beach. While the standard rooms are close to the restaurant, pool and beachfront, we stayed in a mountain hut further up the hills. It’s a short steep walk along a few steps and the views are fantastic! The balcony features a table and two chairs to enjoy the view, the room has a TV, fridge, hairdryer, and free complementaries. There’s a hook for a mosquito net, if you want to hang your own. The restaurant at the beach is lovely. Simple but good Thai food and a few international options. The staff were so super friendly!! Breakfast buffet was nothing out of the ordinary but also didn’t fall short in a selection of eggs, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, and warm stir-fried dishes. Right at the hotel is the diving center where you can rent snorkeling equipment or book a diving class. From this beach you can even walk into the waters with your gear, because the reef is so close to the beach. Even when snorkeling you will already see plenty of various fish- we even saw a turtle! All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and will make sure to come back soon!

One pickup is free, other pick-ups cost 100 baht per person to the pier and 150 baht for other places. After checking in and checking the sheets, I found that the yellow stain had not been cleaned and requested a replacement. There was dust on the floor and hair on the sofa and it was not cleaned well. However, the staff was friendly and it was nice that snorkeling was possible at the beach in front of the resort.

A private resort located at the very end of Koh Tao. The road is rough and steep, making driving a motorcycle very difficult. Recommended for family travelers as it is structured so that once you enter, you are raised. A great resort to be raised by the sea! Eco Room is a camping…

Danong Beach is very suitable for snorkeling. There are many corals and many species. It is great for snorkeling with children! The front desk service is very good and welcoming, and the breakfast is also good. There are also other restaurants to choose from nearby, which is quite convenient for eating. If you don’t need to clean the room, you can also get 200 no-threshold coupons, which can be used in the restaurant. The swimming pool is clean, but squirrels often drop leaves and fruits from the trees next to it😁😁

I requested a transfer from the pier to the hotel at the hotel. One way meet for free. There are guys on the pier with signs (name of the hotel). Pay 20 baht entrance to Koh Tao and you will be taken to the reception. I was greeted by friendly staff, they gave me the key to the room, they explained everything. We took a regular room with breakfast included. There are no shops nearby, so either take it with you, if possible, or eat at a restaurant (normal prices), or you can order a transfer of 150 baht per person one way to Sayri, there are shops there. The room is nice, clean, kettle, fridge. Breakfast is not a buffet, to choose from. Portions are good. We also dined at the restaurant, they cook and bring quickly. The staff is very attentive, always smiling. They bring everything quickly, if you need something, ask and help in everything. Thank you very much for such hospitality! We swam with masks, it was very beautiful, the sunset was right from the shore and there were a lot of fish. We saw small sharks swimming by. In the morning there was a low tide, you can enter the water on the left near the stones or on the right, also near the stones. A lot of emotions! Return transfer to the pier, 100 baht per person. The roads are very steep but the views are beautiful. We walked from the hotel to the other side of the island. Ascents, descents are steep, hard, but interesting. On the way back, we met 3 snakes in a small area. In the end, I want to say that I liked everything in the hotel, one delight!

Well maintained hotel. Very dedicated staff. Skin cleaning system allowing you to recover 100 bths at the restaurant is a good idea. The “but” concerns a price of the hotel and restaurant that is far too high for Koh Tao even in peak season.

The place is a secluded beach with excellent snorkeling - five stars. The house is for four. Catering - four plus. in the evening - mosquitoes. You basically live in the jungle. for 3-7 days - excellent

Hygiene: The cups in the room are not cleaned, there is still some juice in the picture. The white countertops in the room are full of old stains, the bathroom smells, the towels and bedding are old and dusty, and the sheets are fairly flat around, but the place where people lie in the middle is very wrinkled, it seems that they just tidy up after the last guest left It doesn't seem to change. When I lie down for a while at night, the skin will itch, and the situation will disappear after sleeping with a big bath towel. For the second nap, I forgot to put on a bath towel. After sleeping for a while, my skin started to itch again, so I had to put on a bath towel to sleep again. There are a lot of flies and mosquitoes in the room and terrace, which is terrible. The 3 receptionists at the front desk of the hotel are suspected to be unfriendly to Chinese people. Although they have smiles, they are worried about pretending to be prevarication, but they are very enthusiastic and enthusiastic towards other blond foreigners. We also arranged our room in the corner closest to the road with poor lighting and ventilation. The service of the restaurant waiter and the luggage boy is quite good.

The lighting in the bathroom is dim, so I don't know how messy it is at first. When I looked into it, I could see the dirt, so I cleaned it and used it. Snorkeling off the coast is good, but when the water is low, you have to be careful not to be scratched by the coral. overall satisfied
