The Stay Chaweng Beach Resort Reviews

I just stay in one night here. Location is good close to central but still quiet not noisy as far from chaweng central about 400 m so you can walk around. Room is clean and a bit small but valuable price.Staff is service mind, request earlier check-in but breakfast is not many choice. This is budget hotel if you need 😊

The hotel is better than i expected. Clean, lovely, in the heart of Samui.

Excellent hotel well located with friendly staff who assisted greatly when wishing to extend our stay. Rooms are modern, very clean and well maintained. Sea water was very warm and suitable for children as a breakwater maintained a shallow depth. Plenty of bars and restaurants located within walking distance along the beach and adjoining roadway with entertainment but we were never aware of any noise. Would recommend this hotel

Great hotel, very friendly and everything was clean. Wifi is reliable too!

Only took a video of the room not photos so won’t let me upload, the rooms were very clean and tidy. Staff were very accommodating and super friendly. Fair prices for rooms considering the location is close to everything. The views from this hotel is beautiful right on the beach! The security guard is so cute and friendly, gave us sweets and always welcoming and helps out with anything you need. Would defiantly recommend this hotel, we stayed here for Christmas and it was so central to everything! Had a great time :))!

The hotel is very clean and large room. base in a good area as so close to the restaurant and bar just a minute by walk. Staff at the restaurant are very friendly. Happy to be back if I have a chance to go to Samui again :) recommend for anyone!! Don’t miss “the stay” :)

We booked a Family Room, and I loved the room they gave us with a bunk bed. However, we were very far away from the pool with the beach view so it took us about 10 mins. just to see the sunset and eat breakfast!

The hotel is right infront of the beach. It is spacious and comfortable. Restaurants, and bars are stone's throw away.

Pros - it's in a good location for walking to lots of westernised amenities, pubs, clubs, shops etc, if that's what you want? The rooms are clean, adequate & the beds are comfortable. Staff are amazing! We witnessed them having to put up with some arrogant & rude foreigners, I don't know how they keep smiling? The thai food on their restaurant menu was reasonable. Cons - it's the only accommodation I've stayed at in Thailand where they've not provided mineral/drinking water in the fridge? Only two bottles of water left on the side for coffee/tea making? Also no yogurt or museli at breakfast? The other 8 places I've stayed at have all provided that? Even the cheap basic ones? Honestly though, the breakfast was basic. Rooms aren't very sound proof? I could hear people slamming doors at all hours, chatting in the corridor. Also a constant boom, boom, boom until 5am from the clubs down the beach. There's very limited sunbeds around the pool & sundeck, you're highly unlikely to get one, they certainly could do with utilising the beach in front of the hotel for more beds? My sister is heading out to Thailand in 8mths time , unfortunately I'm not recommending this place to her.

Really nice hotel on the beach comfy rooms and good air con. Great nights sleep as rooms are situated away from the street 👍

We booked two rooms in this hotel and boy what a big mistake it was … the rooms are small, smelly with anti mosquitoes that didn’t work so had to fight tens of mosquitoes all night. The warm water came and go, the shower head was broken, There was no place at the too small pool to sit. The reception was rude, so we filed complaint to the manager and he was even more rude than her ! They truly didn’t understand their job is to help the guests and give service not fight with them . To whom it may concern I definitely advise to stay away of this hotel ! Later we took another hotel and surprise, no mosquito bites, steady warm water and more than expected nice atmosphere and staff.

Super nice and convenient location. All you can play and eat within 2km distance.

The hotel is situated right on Chaweng beach which is really beautiful when the tide is out, the sea comes right up to the edge of the hotel during the day (it’s built for it, don’t worry!). The rooms are cleaned everyday and they provide fresh beach towels each day. Chaweng beach is centrally located - the street is very busy but the beach is lovely in the afternoon and evening.

Unfortunately too loud because of the loud doors and people coming back to the hotel at night and slamming the doors loudly, but bearable with earplugs. Everything else is fine.
