Good view, beautiful atmosphere But going up the stairs is very high. The service aspect still needs to be improved a bit. Maybe because the new interns still lack experience in accommodation. In front of the pool villa, the swimming pool is nice and clean.

Overall quite satisfied. The boss is very enthusiastic. The front desk can book various day trips to the sea. There are 711 and several famous restaurants nearby. The key is that there is a Chinese-speaking lady at the front desk. The room is good in every aspect. The only bad thing is that in the off-season, breakfast needs to be ordered and the speed is very slow. If you want to experience a different accommodation environment, you can stay here.

Magnificent place, relaxing and quiet with a magnificent view. The climb of the many steps is worth it

The breakfast is very good. It is right next to the swimming pool. The view is unparalleled. The scenery on the mountain is different from that of the seaside. The price/performance ratio is very high. I will definitely recommend friends to come here. Don’t worry about power outages. Many hotels on the island, including Krabi Airport, will occasionally experience power outages. , it will recover in a while

Nice resort on Koh Lanta, overlooking the beach and sea. We had a swim up room. Super big for the two of us! Bed was comfortable, cleaning comes daily, clean bathrooms. We found it a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was fine, you can rent a scooter at the reception, small shop within walking distance. It's just not for people with limited mobility. Lots of stairs, but we didn't mind. You get a great view in return. Tip: definitely rent a scooter. Go discover the island and find the beaches and the nice bars on the road with a view of the beach. You will find monkeys everywhere, super clear water and a beautiful sandy beach. Enjoy a nice meal at the beach bars in the evening!

The room is an unpainted rough room, the bathroom is extremely simple, and the air conditioner is intermittent. The attitude of the front desk is extremely bad, and it is a fortune to get a fortune.

Loved the pool access room we had. The morning sun was great. The only downside was the 114 stairs to get up to the room. If your older like myself and find stairs a challenge then maybe look for other easier access properties.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alama Sea Village Resort! It's a short walk down to the restaurants and beach, but it's a completely different feeling coming up to the view of the mountains and the beach. We stayed in a two-room cabin that has a small terrace with outdoor stairs between the rooms. The view was fantastic (we stayed quite high up) the large windows have a film cover to keep heat out and people from looking in, it worked very well. The rooms were very prettily furnished and clean (no insects or lizards to be seen), although one of them had less good storage than the other. The beds were softer than others we encountered, but not super soft. The pressure in the shower wasn't great, but that is perhaps to be expected when it is so high up. The cottages are located with their backs to each other, which made them very private. The hotel grounds are nice with frangipani trees and hibiscus, but have a few blemishes here and there, but nothing that bothered us. We didn't see or get disturbed by any monkeys during our stay. There are a lot of stairs, of course, with such a location. The pool was absolutely gorgeous against the wonderful view of the mountains and the beach. However, it gets hot in the morning when the sun is directly on, but in the afternoon it is more shady and cool. The pool area is not very big so I was worried at first that it would be crowded there, but it never was, it was very peaceful. The breakfast was very good and served with an incredible view in the upper restaurant, although sometimes there was a lack of seats in the shade. We only had lunch at the hotel twice and then unfortunately the service was very slow. Also note that they don't serve alcohol. The staff was very friendly and nice and the receptionists were very helpful and friendly with good English. If I were to give some improvement tips to the hotel, it would be to maybe have a chair or stool on the patio in addition to Thai cushions, beanbag and hammock. Maybe they should also make another row of sun umbrellas instead of the rear "shelf" with beanbags that they have today, that's rarely used. We didn't dare lie there in case the kids fell down or you dropped stuff. A nice touch though was that the rooms came with a pretty basket to carry beach towels etc. in! Overall we enjoyed ourselves very much in Kantiang Bay, it was quiet, beautiful and cosy. The beach is incredibly beautiful and quite unexploited with the mountains in the background, although it is not chalk white as is sometimes said, and there are rocks in the water that are noticeable especially at low tide. There is also nowhere you can rent sunbeds and hardly any accessible natural shade. We recommend afternoon swimming and the restaurant "Same same but different", which is nicely located under trees at the southern end of the beach (where there is a completely rock free patch too).
