Spa Hotels in Killarney

Did not eat breakfast, don't know how. The room is big enough and the two beds are big enough. We only have two people. I don’t know if we can add an extra bed. The room is not soundproof, but it is quiet after 12 o'clock. The hotel is like a resort, the environment is very good, suitable for bringing children, not in the city center, suitable for self-driving tours, there is free parking.

Great staff !! awesome ! Especially Jiri, Tonvi and Roisin. Truly made you feel very welcome, comfortable, and happy. Immaculate hotel, and in best spot of downtown Killarney, where it is starting point for walking to the amazing surrounding areas. Definitely will be back and stay at the Killarney Plaza Hotel.

Highly recommend here. Check-in was quick & informative (Loui). The room was spotless with toilitries, tea, coffee, iron, hairdryer, jacozzi bath. etc. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious, a huge variety of options! The staff were attentive, and the dining area is comfortable and cosy. We dined in the bar, and our group were happy with their choice. I had the fish and chips, and it was delicious. All staff from reception to housekeeping were friendly, professional & courteous. Some of our group did use the leasure centre & were very complimentary about it.

The hotel courtyard is beautiful, the room facilities are a bit old-fashioned, the breakfast is particularly good, semi-buffet plus ordering, whether it is half-buffet or semi-buffet is first-class English breakfast, the service industry is quite good.

Excellent for visiting Killarney and surrounding area. 20 minute brisk walk into town. On main road which was noisy from the balcony rooms so bear in mind if you want more peace go around the back. A relaxed and friendly hotel.

I recently had my wedding at the Great Southern Hotel Killarney. They went above and beyond for us. Majority of our guests, including ourselves, stayed at the hotel for 4 nights/l. Accommodation - spacious, warm, quiet, heavenly. Breakfast - phenomenal l. So many options including a menu Staff - Michaela, our wedding coordinator was amazing. So friendly, responsive and managed everything so easily even when there were last min changes. Simply brilliant. Gillian - events coordinator - our superstar. So personable, kept everything ticking along with the sit down meal, speeches, line up of entertainment etc. A very caring lady who simply is amazing at her job. We had no worries when Gillian was on the job. Sean - the fantastic doorman, so friendly. Put my nerves at ease every time I met him. Steven - our wedding host, another gentleman who hosted our wedding tastings as well as the wedding. So friendly, making sure myself and guests were always looked after Ryan - another lovely gentleman who was present the night of the wedding. His constant check ins with me were a comfort. The staff - all the staff are amazing, professional and so friendly. Top class staff that I simply cannot find fault with. This hotel feels like home to me & I can’t wait to revisit Thanks so much for making our wedding magical and impressing all of our wedding guests with your professionalism and friendly manners. Im just back from a fabulous stay at the Killarney Park. This gem of a hotel is the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and relaxation. The attention to detail was next level, Ciaran and his team went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time, and even helped us plan the perfect itinerary for our stay. All staff were so helpful, personable and made us feel very welcome. The breakfast and dinner was excellent, and we loved the ambience of the cosy library to relax by the fire afterwards. Superb, comfortable rooms, a lovely relaxed and welcoming ambience, and incredible service at all stages of our stay - I am already looking forward to coming back next year!

Excellent location. The room was very spacious with two beds which were very comfortable and the room temperature could be easily adjusted. Very clean bathroom and shower. The staff were efficient and friendly. I stay here on many occasions for work and I love the food especially the breakfast buffet, this hotel is one of my favourite hotels to stay in when I am working in the Kerry area. I would highly recommend it to anyone. There are shops a short walking distance from the hotel and the town centre is only a short drive or Taxi ride away. Well worth a visit and this hotel is exceptionally good value especially given the standard of the room and the excellent breakfast. Well done to all the staff for making it an enjoyable stay.

We loved the whole experience. The whole place is spotless and the staff are very friendly and welcoming. Well worth a visit I cannot say enough about the staff they are so professional and so friendly. We will definitely be back again.
