Hotel is nice with an accompanying restaurant and bar. The room itself was clean and comfortable but the walls were a bit thin and my neighbors were watching television till after 2 am. Overall a good experience.

Location very convenient: stone’s throw from the train station and right in the town centre near the castle and some really nice bars. Their bar also serves good food and is a
decent spot for a late night drink. Be aware however, that the front door shuts at 10 and you can only gain access from the buzzer at the adjacent bar and they are quite strict on guest access. If you are a couple make sure to select for 2 when making the booking.
Nevertheless the breakfast is extensive, and the rooms comfortable so thumbs up overall.

Kilford Arms is in a prime location in Kilkenny city. Train station is just a 5 minute walk. Great atmosphere in this hotel & staff are extremely friendly. Rooms are well maintained & they go above & beyond to make your stay very pleasant. See you all soon
