The hotel is very old, the facilities in the room are very old, the bathtub is deglazed, the breakfast is very bad, there are very few varieties, I only had breakfast on the first day and the last day, and on the last day a friend sent me to the airport and added breakfast, which cost more than 100 yuan! It's really not worth it

Because my original browser couldn't log in to my Google account, I posted a new comment here. The Malla Hotel is located in the city center of Kathmandu, with convenient transportation and a beautiful hotel environment. The food here is also quite delicious, and the staff will provide you with dedicated service. The person serving us during this meal is Subina, whom is a warm and lovely girl. Overall, I am very satisfied staying here.

The people at this hotel are so warm and friendly! I decided to try their restaurant, The Orient, and am so glad I did. I want to eat here every day! Shout out to Subina and the chef for saying hello. I appreciate that they were upfront with me about the portions and spice level.

I was part of a National Geographic Trip that stayed at this hotel at the beginning and again at the end of our trip. I really liked this hotel. The people are exceedingly friendly and the location is PERFECT for lots of restaurants, shopping, and attractions. The rooms are generously sized and they have a lovely turn down service. The grounds are truly lovely and outdoor space is a nice area of peace and tranquility in the middle of the busy city. The pool is also very nice. I enjoyed it one afternoon. I had a short foot massage by the pool and enjoyed it so much that I signed up for a 90 minute whole body massage. It was WONDERFUL. Part of the massage was pouring warm oil over my head. A LOT of oil. I have never had a massage like that and I really enjoyed it. Lastly, the food is really good at the restaurant. The breakfast is a large buffet with lots of choices. Part of our group ate dinner there our first night in Nepal and we really enjoyed it. We wanted to eat outside, so they not only set up tables for us, they had an electrician come and set up some lights for us! The service was incredible. At the end of our trip, we had two final nights at the Malla and it felt like coming home. Hopefully we'll be back in Kathmandu someday, and we will stay at the Malla!

I loved the service so much that I'm going to make pointers about my experience: 1. Subina and Manila are the sweetest people ever. They're amazing at the work they do, and I absolutely loved their energy. 2. The food was extremely delicious. I haven't had such amazing ramen in a long time. 3. The cocktail suggestions Subina made were also top-notch! Overall, I loved the ambiance, the vibe, and also how the chef came down to meet us to ask if we liked the food. Spoiler alert, we loved it! If you're in Kathmandu, do visit the restaurant. ❤️
