Reasonable price staying in Karuizawa and the location is very good

Nice hotel with 2private hot spring with 24 hrs services We checked in quite late but called the reception before. When we checked in, they already printed all form and guest information to make our check in smooth Breakfast is ok but if not included in the package, it would be but overpriced. The roomm is clean and spacious.

The property is very charming and the photos shown are true to actual. Location is a bit far from the station so best to arrange the shuttle bus service or take a cab. Room is neat and cosy and the private onsen is a nice bonus. Breakfast is lovely and the fresh vegetables were amazing however the dinner was a let down as it wasn’t served in the restaurant. Instead we were provided with a voucher for redemption at the bar. The food is just average, beef was not very fresh, and your clothes and hair reek of smell after dinner as they cook the food right at the bar.

The rooms and restaurants are very clean. The hotel has a small and fresh style, and the breakfast is also suitable for parents and children. It takes 10 minutes to get there by taxi from Karuizawa Station. It is 1 km to walk to Kumoba Pond. You can rent electric bicycles at the front desk to ride to the church a few kilometers away. There are also hot spring bathing projects! Just make an appointment for your own private bath time at the front desk.

The hotel is about a 35-minute walk from Karuizawa Station. After checking out, we will arrange a ride back to the station. The hotel has a beautiful environment. The breakfast is all homemade vegetables, which is very delicious and diverse.

The old building 🏘️ is unique and has hot springs ♨️. The price is moderate. The surrounding environment is quiet and pleasant. It may be an old building with only two floors. There is no elevator 🛗. You have to carry your luggage up and down by yourself. The carpet in the room is very old. We didn't smoke but insisted on giving us a smoking room. We asked to change to a non-smoking room. We had to pay more. We didn't choose whether to have a smoking room when booking. This was quite disappointing. We couldn't communicate in the language and felt uncomfortable!

Second time staying here, great value for money. The breakfast buffet is the best I have ever had in a Japanese hotel. There is also a private bath. There is a shuttle bus to the JR station for check-out in the morning. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the hotel to Kumba Pond.

If you want to be fair and upright, there is no way to lose! There are preset rental hot springs for 45 minutes♨️
