The location was OK.. Just 1 station away from Kaohsiung station. The staff were super helpful. This branch is better than their Taipei counterpart

Large bed but a bit small room so not much space left to put luggage down. Quite clean, no window room btw. Not sure if i got headache from the AC straight to my bed or not but next day i turn it down so no more

the hotel is fairly close the metro station, prob a 10 min walk from metro but it’s pretty close to liuhe night market like 5 minutes away. no shortage of food option near the hotel. the rooms are big but basic and generally clean. hotel staff is friendly and helpful.

On the day of the trip, I chose to go to the second hall of the Sapporo Inn to release the capsule, and then go to the second hall. I met my girlfriend at the Yanhuangpu MRT station. Then I would trouble her to accompany me to release the capsule. I looked at the map and said that I would pass through three big intersections. My friend has been Langlang how you book such a far hotel pressure. As a result, I saw the appearance of the hotel and said that this building is so beautiful. I don’t give her a few white eyes at the moment. I’m really sorry for my conscience. In short, my girlfriend thinks that the second hall of the hotel is very easy to find. It takes less than ten minutes to walk from Yanhuangpu MRT Station. The seventh floor floor is painted and shared. The girl thinks the painter is very powerful, can paint different themes, the perfect coherence of the uncontradictory, every wall makes people not want to leave

The room we got is really good, the only problem we encounter is the wifi connection it’s unstable.

I’m going to give this place a 7/10 just because the shower pressure was so good. But you guys have to improve on cleanliness! Furnitures are disintegrated and the wifi connection is poor! Breakfast is quite okay.

We lived in the hotel for two days. When settled, they could not understand why we had to pay the second time. It turns out that when booking on Bucking, our money was blocked, but in the payment receipt it was not reflected. After repaying, we were settled in the room. The hotel is clean, comfortable, close to the night and stuff markets - 5 minutes walk. The hotel provides a light dinner in the evening - buffets, cakes, ice cream, tea, coffee, drinks. There are many shops, cafes, metro station and bus stops nearby. We are happy with this hotel, if there is an opportunity, we will come again.

Having stayed at both Grand Hotels in Taipei and Kaohsiung, the Taipei location is hands down the premier location. The Grand Hotel in Taipei is genuinely a delightful establishment, perhaps my favorite hotel in all of Taiwan. However, the same cannot be said for the Kaohsiung location. It is clearly secondary and even a bit neglected. The hotel and its accommodations are fairly nice but at the same time feel quite outdated. The location is relaxing though, if you want to be able to sit by a pool or on a balcony looking out at a lake. Probably the biggest disappointment of my stay was that I was denied entry to the dinner buffet. People who were not guests at the hotel had already reserved all the seats. Luckily, I was able to secure a seat at a different restaurant in the hotel. I think hotel guests should have priority for seats at the buffet. When I was denied access to the buffet it felt like I was being treated as a second class citizen. “Everyone here has reservations…” the hostess told me. Well… how many of them were actually staying at the hotel? From what I could tell, not many of them were.

I enjoyed my stay tremendously and at awe of the level of service from all the staff of this hotel. From the bellhop to the concierge to the maid, everyone here is professional and courteous only the highest class hotels in the US can match. Here they are doing it without expectations of tips... I traveled solo and as a single guy and not expecting much. I am surprised at the service and comfort I got that are exceeding my expectations.

Location: close to MRT and surrounded with variety of shops for food or quick shop for tourist. Room: size is great, you get everything you need and bathroom is clean is well. Water pressure is great, given this is a common problem for older building. But the bedding is quite uncomfortable, the blanket is literally just a piece of cover sheet which feels weird all night long. Insolation is average as you can hear people shutting door and partying at night. This is a budget hotel that you get what you paid for.
