Stayed 2 nights. Received a lovely warm welcome from our hosts, despite very limited language crossover. Traditional minshuku and rooms, in a beautiful part of town close to the river. We had the larger room at the front of the building. Despite the proximity of the street it was very quiet. Comfortable shared bathroom and toilet, which nonetheless felt quiet and private and werespotlessly clean ( and this room had it's own sink). In our tatami room we had comfortable futons and the usual buckwheat pillows, a telly, a heater and a kettle. Breakfast was amazing - authentic, delicious home cooking Highly recommended if you want a bit of real Japan
