Compared to other Ryokans we stayed, this is relatively spacious. It's a bit harder to find but not impossible. The outside of the apartment block is a bit shabby, but the room was clean and well appointed in a Japanese style. Outside, they have washing machines and dryers which are coin operated and they clearly have seen better days, but they worked for us. The location was great. A short walk to the castle and gardens and a bit longer to the town centre. However, in the little residential streets around us was an amazing little sushi restaurant and traditional inn run by a very beautiful Russian woman, Fedora, and her partner. We had an incredible time in there, so if you stay here, make sure you book in.

This is not a one bedroom apartment as advertised on ***********. it is a one room/studio apartment. Very difficult to find and very down trodden on the outside. It has all you require, kitchen, bathroom=so small you have to step outside to dry, futons, clean linen and towels. The main downside for us was that the window is opaque glass and you cannot see out, it's a bit like being in a prison (I would imagine). Wr had booked for 3 nights but will be moving on after one. Couldn't find any restaurants nearby to eat last night so ended up at a convenience store. Cheap, but not for us.
