The hotel's environment and rooms are very beautiful, and you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. Although there is no convenience store near the hotel, there are different drink options in the hotel. The dinner provided by the hotel is also good. The hotel staff understands English and their service attitude is very friendly, but The only drawback is that the tent room does not provide a separate bathroom
"goodRAC stay KYOTO KAMEOKA" is the perfect accommodation for sightseeing in Kyoto and Kameoka. Based on the theme of "simple stay", we offer "comfortable facilities" at "optimal prices" in the natural Kameoka without many facilities and services. Our facility is located 30 minutes from Kyoto Station in Kameoka City, where nature, fields and the city live in harmony. This place is full of attractions such as Kyoto's representative "trolley train", "Hozugawa River boat ride", "Sanga Stadium", and the popular activity "rafting". In addition, the most sacred place for matchmaking in Japan, "Izumo Daijingu", is located very close to our villa. The site area is about 1000 square meters, and there are two villas that can be rented as a whole. Each villa is equipped with a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom and toilet, and you can enjoy group parties indoors, on the covered terrace, or in the open courtyard. As many local residents live in the surrounding area, we only accept guests who can spend a relaxing and quiet time with their group. Please consult in advance about pick-up. Pick-up is only possible from the station to the accommodation. We may not be able to accommodate during busy periods. On your way back, please take the bus from the Izumodai bus stop, which is about a 1-minute walk from the accommodation. Timetable 9:09 JR Chiyokawa Station bound 10:19 JR Chiyokawa Station bound Check-out time can be extended free of charge until the bus arrives.

I and my mother stayed there for one night 20000 yen per person, with dinner and breakfast. It was a very comfortable stay. This was more like a hotel, except that we needed to walk around without your own shoes (without getting dirty feet) inside. It was fully booked on that day. We had an earlier check-in, which mean that we could enjoy our relaxing private Onsen bath without standing in line. We also tried the large onsen baths later in the evening after a long walk in the beautiful Arashiyama area nearby. It was hot, but great. One of the baths was outside in a Japanese garden. We got warmed up from the inside out, and had an ice popsicle before we went up to our room for good nights rest. We also enjoyed a huge dinner and breakfast, true local cuisine with typical taste in Kyoto that supposed to be refined and ”delicate” - you shouldn´t expect any strong taste, and correctly cooked. This supposed to be a 3-star-hotel, but the amenity was completed. We didn´t miss anything here. We thought the staff at the front desk were not amazing, but definitely not poor. We didn´t need to deal with them so much as we had good information in written form. Everything was clean and pleasant. Had absolutely nothing to complain. We would definitely love to come back again. My rating is 4 - not more or less. I certainly see that they still have a room for improvement, but overall I didn´t personally understand all the poor reviews.

The hotel is a 5 minute (with luggage) walk away from the Saga Arashiyama station. While it is relatively quiet around the hotel itself it is only a 10 minute walk to the main street in Arashiyama. It was very convenient for us to get to the main sights every day. Due to it's great location, we manage to arrive at the bamboo forest by 730am before the huge crowds arrived. We stayed in the annex room and it was wonderful, as it felt like we had a little corner house all to ourselves. The room was clean, comfortable and peaceful. Nespresso coffee was also served in the room. The hotel was also kind enough to leave us a little Japanese souvenir (cloth and coin purse) in the room. If you are looking for a base to explore Arashiyama, we highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

is it a comment when it was just done? It seems to be dry, but it is a kind, polite and satisfying hotel. The facilities are substantial and the large communal bath is nice. Please note that the bathhouse is changed every day for men and women. Amenity is fully equipped. , Sleeping scrolls that can be used as roomwear are also available in the room, so you can relax. It is a convenient place because it is near the station and has a good location and many restaurants. There is also a large communal bath, so I wonder if it's a great place to relax. The breakfast venue is not big, so you need to adjust the time, but I'm happy to make omelets handmade at the venue.

A hotel has been born that provides travelers visiting Kyoto with a peaceful stay and curiosity, and invites them to a new Kyoto they have never seen before.
Potel is not just a place to stay.
We have prepared places where you can discover new value while sightseeing in Kyoto, such as Awai no Ma (a space where you can enjoy drinks, books, board games and records), a public bath (with sauna), a rooftop terrace with attractive views of Kyoto Tower, Toji Temple, the Shinkansen and the changing seasons, and Umekoji Fermentation Plant where you can purchase carefully selected sake, wine and fruit liqueurs.
Why not explore Potel and find a place where you can just relax?
GGuest User2022.07.25
In early July, I stayed with my grandson (1 years old 3 months) and 5 people with my family, and in late August I stayed with my husband and wife 2 people. In mid August, I booked for 5 people again. Potel is located next to the Kyoto Aquarium, 13 hectares of umekoji Park on the south side, and Jr Shinkansen, limited Express, new rapid trains, and trains stop at each station run south of the park. The old Kyoto City trams run south and west of the hotel, and the west is Royal Park Hotel, Starbucks, Family Mart, Jr umekoji Kyoto Nishi station and Kyoto Railway Museum. There is a parking lot, a front entrance, and a public bath potato hot water in the separate building. The hotel is a large hall (between the children), and adults can enjoy beer, wine and coffee from 15 o'clock by self service. The potel, which is completely different from the hotel until now, is very clean and feels very good. [Rooms] We used the southwest corner twin with a balcony where the park can be seen. From the top of the hotel, the room is lined up on the left and right sides of the corridor from the 2 floor to the 5 floor in the L-shaped building. The west and south rooms have balconies. Since the window is from the floor to the ceiling, there is an open feeling and the room is bright. Cleaning is well done to the net door, window glass and bathroom drain. I am happy to stay for a consecutive night because the storage space of clothes is large. The thick mattress of the baby bed is kind to the child. [Security] Use the elevator with the card key and open the automatic door of the passage. 【Joint Bathroom Potato Yu】 The large and small Yufune is overflowing, so it has a feeling of cleanliness. You can enjoy dry sauna. Milk soap and towels are brought from the room. 【Breakfast】 Japanese style dishes are lined up in buffet style. Let's start eating at 7 when the store opens because it is crowded. [Awaima] There is a large space where parents and children can play and relax by taking off their shoes. You can go up and down the central stairs from 2 floor to 4 floor. [Laundry room] There is a coin type washing dryer on the 5 floor. [Rooftop] You can see Kyoto Tower, the five-story tower of Toji Temple, and the JR Shinkansen.

3 stations from JR Kyoto Station, a 5-minute walk from Nijo Station on the subway Tozai Line, and a very convenient location right next to Sanjo Shopping Street, the longest shopping mall in Kyoto City. It looks like a machiya hotel along an alley in a residential area, but there is a large dining space and a communal kitchen in the lobby on the first floor. It is a newly built hotel that was just built this year, and there are 3 washing machines on each floor, which is very convenient for long stays. The rooms are full of beds, but the bathrooms are average size and the rooms with kitchens are said to be slightly larger. Just like a one-room apartment, there are many people who stay for a long time, and it seems that all the guests are getting along well with the kind men at the front desk and the international student staff, just like a boarding house. I felt it.

Nice and clean hotel, good location to browse the city.
The staff are kind and friendly.
The rooms are not big but family of 3 with one big piece of luggage can easily fit in. Japanese style room is very charming but you might need some time to adjust to a mattress firmness.
The breakfast selection is rather limited and repetitive.

Breakfast was very good. There is no fried food and the seasoning is only gentle. The way to take it on an ordinary plate without a partition without using a tray is very smart and good. On the day I stayed, I was surprised to find my favorite bread called Masa in Gion Bologna. I was impressed with the hospitality of delivering omelets in the open kitchen to my seat. The room is clean and functional, but it's too functional, so be careful that if you put the organisms in the first night and go out for consecutive nights, the electricity in the refrigerator will be turned off and it will not work (although this is my inadvertent). Very satisfied, I will use it again.

A new shape capsule hotel with tourist specifications The image of a capsule hotel was that an uncle who couldn't return by train because he drank it was staying, but TSUKIMI HOTEL has free space and can cook. Therefore, it was the perfect accommodation for backpackers. The staff were all cheerful and responsive and I felt good. This was a matter of luck, but the only drawback was that the next customer snored badly, but I escaped the difficulty because there was an earplug in the amenities.

YYEIt takes more than ten or twenty minutes to take the hotel shuttle bus from JR Kameoka Station, so you need to make an appointment with the hotel in advance. The Japanese-style room is very comfortable, and breakfast and dinner are also great! There are hot springs. There is a shuttle bus to the Hozugawa Ferry Terminal, and you can also make an appointment for pick-up and drop-off from the Saga JR Station.
清清清清清I just stayed for two days. I was a little scared at first because there was no information about this hotel, but after I checked in, I found it to be very cost-effective!
New hotel, about 2-3 minutes walk from the station. There is aeon nearby, as well as Akechi Mitsuhide statue and castle.
If your itinerary is mainly Arashiyama, this hotel is very good. It is very fast to get to Arashiyama and there are beautiful scenery to see on the way! Many people are taking photos at Hojinkyo Station.
It’s not expensive during the maple leaf season, it includes breakfast, and you can even take a bath! ! The night shift counter lady is very cute😏! ! ! ! ! And English is very good! Single decisive exchange phone numbers!
The room was clean. There were no people on the street at night. My view was of the hotel and apartment opposite, but the space in the middle was very open and felt comfortable. In addition to the TV cabinet, there is also a table for guests to put things on when dining, as well as a small sofa and a chair. Add points! ! !
In addition, the breakfast is also delicious. Most of the guests I see are Japanese.
It takes two minutes to the subway station, and there is also aeon, Mitsuhide Akechi statue and castle nearby.
It’s not too far from Kyoto Station, a 30-minute drive.
GGuest UserThis ryokan always takes care of us at year-end parties. This time, my friend is going to be transferred to a distant place, so I visited her to have a farewell party. The room is a corner deluxe on the second floor. I requested a Western-style room, but I never expected to have such a room. Flooring that feels like it was carved by a craftsman in the total cypress guest room bath. It is luxurious with a TV on the wall of the living room and a coffee machine. I don't write about the meal in detail because I have it at the banquet every year (I like the meal, so I use it at the banquet...), but this time the matsutake mushrooms were steamed in an earthenware pot, which was still early in the season. I usually have dinner in a private room, but this time I am grateful that you prepared a spacious hall for a small number of people. Yunohana Onsen's evaluation in the local area, I think Suisen → Sumiya ≒ Shoenso → Keizankaku → Hoga is common, but I like Shoenso the best. (I've never stayed at Suisen because it's expensive, but...) I'll visit you again soon. Thank you very much.
I've stayed there for 2 nights and everything is just amazing. The staff upgraded my room which had a sauna and bath tub. Snacks and drinks were replenished every day. The breakfast was great and the dinner was just amazing. They provided a variety of drinks (wine, sake, juice, tea, coffee, etc.) and it's all you can drink. They also provided free beers and drinks in the lobby resting area and you can watch live sports there at night. The hot spring is great as well. Highly recommend!
YYuenThis station is a big station, only 30 minutes from Kyoto stops, about 15 minutes.
Generally, the tour will go to this station and take a cruise ship Baojinchuan.
I want to go to the overpass early in the morning, and I want to go to the same two-jo Kyoto. I don't go to the station and I can take the bus for more than half an hour.
The north exit of the station is only 1 minute away. The nearest convenience store is the station. There is an Aeon supermarket and a restaurant within 5 minutes of the south exit of the station until 11 o'clock.
Single rooms are the size of a Japanese business hotel, absolutely no 17 square meters.
Breakfast starts at 6:45, and there is a rice ball to take away in a hurry.
It is not used for lodging, but is used as a ”lunch” and ”hot spring bathing” place for a set trip. It was also a corona misfortune, and the sightseeing bus was only one of us, and it was vacant. The hot spring public bath was simply said to be wide, and I felt it was clean, but this was also about ”normal”. Bath towels will not be lent unless you pay 400 yen, valuables lockers are so small that women cannot put them in their bags, and the security against the risk of theft is ”lowest” class. We left our shoes at the dining hall and bathed in the hot springs in slippers, so it was fine, but when we put on our shoes, the locker fee was 100 yen. It's not a translation, it's extremely sloppy, it's good because it's so empty, but if it's crowded, you can't tell who's slippers it is. Of course, if the cooking is not good with this, ✖ 5 will not get a single 0, but only the cooking was far ”better” than expected. However, they don't pay attention to the serving of food at all. They always serve food from the ”back seat”, so we who sit first are the last ones, and we are men who eat quickly. It's been a long time, the staff don't have the ability to respond flexibly to things like this, and I can't say that we have to send out all at once because there are about 30 people, but as a staff member, I have the ability to make arrangements and observe the surroundings and respond. Of course I have it. He was extremely insensitive when it came to asking for extra rice, and if he looked around, he would have been able to find out who had finished earlier. It's the same with ya, but only a few people drink, and even if you don't work hard to make money, you can put it off for later.Do you want to earn that much? Even if you ask the price by the side, it is truly a ”rip off” price. The truth is that the evaluation is about 01, but the number of dishes, taste, and quantity were all good, so it is a normal evaluation of 03.
