Hotel ribmaxＢＵＤＧＥＴKagoshima is a business hotel located in Ogawa CHO, Kagoshima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. On April 5, 2022, I walked through Shiroyama Park. From there, I drove to Hotel ribmaxＢＵＤＧＥＴ Kagoshima. There was a three-dimensional parking lot at the back of the super center Nissimta, which was a designated parking lot. Nishimta is a very large discount store. I could buy dinner here, but I bought it in Lawson (sweat;) across the road and headed for ribmax. The lobby is like this. My grandmother checked in earlier, so I went to the elevator as it was. Coin laundry is installed. I expected it because there was a sign of a natural hot spring, but it was not a resort condominium advertisement (sweat);) when I asked if there was a microwave oven at the front desk, I replied, ”I'm in the room” (surprised) If it is true, I will praise you for choosing this hotel. This day is the room on the top floor. It seems to be an old type of room that doesn't light the electricity unless you insert the promised ”grandmother who doesn't open the key” key. ”Grandma who can't stab the key”There was a microwave oven. The TV is also large. Twin room. This is 5,335 yen for two people with surprise !! It seems that the timing was good with dynamic pricing. Hot water heater. Grandpa who mistakenly has a hot spring. The key is not stabbed clean and the electricity is not lit. The toilet is a hot water toilet seat. The bathtub feels like this. Shampoo and so on were bottles. The view from the window is also great only on the 13th floor. In fact, I was scheduled to stay in Shiroyama Park on this day. However, the parking lot of Shiroyama Park was lonely and the toilet was near the slope, so I didn't want to stay in the car. So I searched on my smartphone and found here. It was a dynamic price and was a cheap price. Because it was 17 o'clock on the day, there would be Merritt more than the hotel would be vacant. It became a strength that it was a premise that it was possible to stay in the car. Just a smoking room, so it is a disadvantage that it smells less 々 cigarettes. Because it is a business hotel, wifi is naturally barbaric. Thank you grandfather today. When I put gasoline in Aira City, the failure that was so high that it was surprised was cancelled. Because it is a night stay, the meal is Yakisoba bought in Lawson. Check out and take the ferry by car after finishing breakfast at Lawson. After finishing sightseeing in Yakushima and returning to Kagoshima City by ferry. The stay on this day was also made to Hotel ribmax ＢＵＤＧＥＴ Kagoshima. What a room was the same room. Grandpa who thinks it is a room with a view of the opposite sea. I'm sorry I can't see the sea. This time it was a little expensive with a dynamic price relationship or 6000 yen. This day I went out to eat dinner at a Chinese restaurant opposite. The next day, breakfast was bread bought in Nissimta. I drove ahead by car. The room is home-style, with kitchen and toilet, terrace The location is near the store street, it is very convenient to buy things There is an airport bus station nearby, or a station in front of the central station, ensuring a seat (it seems that you can't reserve it in advance) Breakfast is full! ! ! Black dolphin meat is free to eat! ! I don't have to eat till noon!

Great location, on the same floor of exit of the JR station. Good breakfast. Clean room. Discount for car park.

View is great. We got to see sakurajima from our room (although it was foggy for 2 days). The room is spacious and is big enough to open 2 huge luggage.

There has air conditioner which was cool enough , good! only the drawback is some far away to take 20 minutes to JR station but very near the walking street. Bath room a bit of narrow. Appreciated even though medium size hotel but it has car packing lot itself ( located on the hotel's back street with staff to assist you ), so great indeed !

The Sherton Hotel in Kagoshima was an absolute gem of a hotel! This is our first visit to Japan, and we are admittedly nervous about the language barrier and cultural change from the US. From the moment we checked in, the staff has bent over backwards to make sure we are comfortable and have done a fantastic job to make this stay completely comfortable and enjoyable. The location is perfect right at the center of downtown Kagoshima, and the rooms, restaurants, and common spaces have more in common with a Four Seasons than with what is standard Sheraton in the US. We were not able to take advantage of the spa, but the Onsen (Hot Springs Sauna) was so relaxing and rejuvenating — especially after 26 hours of flights to get here! HIGHLY recommended. Thank you to the staff that has helped make our 4 days in Kagoshima a memorable experience! Now off to Hiroshima!

This hotel in Kagoshima is a certain distance from the Shinkansen station, and it takes about ten minutes to catch a tram or bus. But the location is a lively commercial street, and there are many high-end shopping malls and restaurants around. The toiletries are very good, they are from Mimotoki. Facilities: complete. Hygiene: clean and tidy. Environment: very good 👌 Service: Good 👌

This is a new hotel with bunk beds which can accommodate 4 to 6 persons. The beds were spacious and a good size. We stayed in the executive bunk family room which can accommodate 6 persons. It may be a bit tight for 6 persons but just right for our family of 4. There is full size washing machine cum dryer in the room which is very useful for washing our clothes. The hotel serves a buffet breakfast with a good spread but as there is no dining area, you need to pack your breakfast into bento boxes and eat them in your room. But we saw a sign which says breakfast will be separately charged from Jan 2024 onwards. Now, breakfast is complimentary and included in the room rate. The hotel also does not have car park but there is more then sufficient coin parking right next door which cost 600 yen from 2000 to 800. The location is quite central and a short 5-10 min drive to Tenmonkan. There is also a good ramen restaurant across the road from the hotel, Rai Rai Tei which is worth trying. Just a tip, we got a much better room rate on Rakuten than the usual Agoda, *********** sites.

Stayed 2 nights in end Jan 2023. Hotel is located directly across the Kagoshima Chuo Station which is convenient if you need to take the train early morning, or explore the other area, as the bus and tram line is nearby as well.  You can access the hotel via the round link from the station on the 2nd floor and cross a road at the end of the link or via the underground basement beside the shopping mall next to the station on level 1, completely sheltered. There is a nice food place at the basement of the hotel and a mart just beside the hotel on level 1. The reception is on the 7th floor where you can get toiletries like cleansing gel,  razor, comb, cotton bud, etc. Check in was fast and simple, though check in time is fixed at 3 pm.  Staff were friendly. Hotel is clean and well maintained.  Rooms were reasonably big for hotels in Japan. Bathroom have separate shower and tub area.  Good view of the ferries wheel across my room.  Bed was comfy, sleeping robe provided. Safe deposit box not working though. Wifi is reasonably good.  Would consider staying again if coming to this area.

Hotels in Japan are relatively luxurious and have ample space. If you go to the hot springs in the morning, you can even see the unparalleled sea view of Sakurajima. It is well worth the price. The space in the room is also very sufficient, and the facilities and supplies are complete. However, the only thing I can be picky about is The location of the hotel is very inconvenient. If you miss the bus to the city, it will be very inconvenient to travel between the hotel and the city.
