Family-friendly Hotels in Jalandhar

Let me tell you my entire experience. I visited this hotel for two nights and checked out this morning. First of all if you are required to stay with the best location, services and food this is the place to be. Location - not too far from the city, railway station and on the main road. Services+ travelled with my family including two two toddlers. From entering into the hotel, smooth check in, excellent services were provided. The hotel has been maintained by Mr. Sandeep and Mr. Das both of them are veterans of the hospitality industry and also have a keen attention to detail about each of the properties which are next to each other. Reception desk Deepak has been very helpful as well as Kaushal in room service. Food - we tried buffet and we were happily say that this buffet was good from some of the best food preperation on Delhi too in comparison. Somehow the amount of dedication in the team and how motivated they are shows the enthusiasm of each of the guests who were walking into the hotel. Gem of the place and i must recommend to stay there if you are traveling to Jalandhar.

We were traveling from US and vising family in Jalandhar. We thought Ramada brand was somewhat known although we never stared there in the US. Given the limited options besides the local hotels, we booked a non-smoking room. When we checked into the room, it was full of smoke stink. The staff was kind to change the room when we shared the feedback but it took them a while to get us the new room. After a long journey, we were just sitting and waiting for our room to be ready and after 25 minutes, we were moved. As we were unwinding into this new room, we saw a person walk by our balcony and we were all like, what? Turned out there was construction going on next door, and there was a big hole in the wall. The access point for workers were through our balcony. Instead of complaining again and waiting for another 30 minutes for a different room, we decided to manage our expectations. It would have been nice if we knew about this ahead of time. We had to close the curtains through our stay, felt like we were somewhere in the basement with no natural light. The furnishing were as if someone armature assembled it. There was no way to know how the doors to the cabinets were to open, no knobs or area to hold the door to open, or which side the door will open. Although it was marked as a suite, the finish was of a low level motel. They only had to shower towels for a party of 3, no iron in the room and so on. After we checked out, we were well on our way by the time I realized that I forgot my Airpods pro in the room. I called the hotel and they told me they will look for it can call me back in a few hours. I told them I can see the Airpods on my iPhone (find my device) to be at the hotel. After waiting for about 3 hours, I called back and was told they did not find it and accused me of leaving it somewhere else, not in the hotel. I can still see the Airpods pro in the hotel through find my device as of this writing – one week after we checked out and back in US now. Meeting family in Jalandhar was the only high of our trip there, everything else was a disaster. Never ever would I stay in this Hotel in the future or recommend anyone to try it out.

I celebrated my birthday here. The hospitality of Prabhjot and all the staff members was commendable. The chef sunny katoch made the food so good. And extra cake for my toddler delighted her. Thank you so much. Overall, Golden Tulip exceeded my expectations. It’s the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for excellent hospitality, comfort, and a memorable experience.

Never expected such experience with Ramada branded property. Looks new in the photos, seems to be old & not maintained properly. Door locks, cub boards, fittings need a make over. I stayed for 2 days, 2nd Day Morning there was no Hot water in the shower & they could not fix it, i had to rush for my meeting & had to take bath in cold water. Toiletry supplies were not refilled on 2nd day of Stay. More importantly, i have a big doubt about their sanitization process. I seriously feel that, they have not sanitized the rooms well. Few days after I stayed in this Hotel, i got symptoms & tested for Covid Positive. Though I cant 100% say that, this is the cause, but the way they are maintaining, it is very much possible. Checkout was also got delayed, despite of me telling them 10 mins in advance to make the invoice ready. There is no enough parking space in the Portico, so my pick up car had to take a few rounds before they complete my checkout. For sure, I dont recommend this property & I will never stay again here.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Days Hotel. Staff are super helpful. A variety of food from the buffet style breakfast. Staff will make lovely masala chai and bring it to your table. A special thank you to Anand and Love Preet. These two were so kind and helpful and could not do enough for me and my family. They served with a smile and made sure we were okay. The hotel has a beautiful roof top revolving restaurant where prices are similar to room service .
