This hotel is very close to the drop off point for bus and coaches. You can see the main castle fort tower from the rooftop. The town itself is small so close to everywhere too. The building is clean. The room is nice and traditional with nice decor. The staff are polite and helpful and I especially enjoyed talking to the waiter at breakfast time and practicing my language skills. He had a good sense of humour and advice for navigating the town and shops The restaurant is rooftop and has nice views. The prices are in line with other restaurants in the town. I would recommend. I booked several days more here too.

This hotel’s staff is really generous! This is a good deal for all tourists.

1. The service is very good. Give advice and help in every matter. 2. Pick up at the train station and drop off at the bus station free of charge. 3. Delicious food, especially Chilli chicken and omlett. 4. There is cold beer served at the restaurant. 5. Rooftop restaurant, beautiful view, can sit all morning. during the day (there is a separate room on the rooftop to protect from the sun) and in the evening 6. The location is a short walk to see the city and to the fort. 7. There is a desert safari and camp tour service.

I have stayed many times at this hotel on prior trips to Jaisalmer (with my son also) but this time visited as a guest to enjoy the amazing rooftop and restaurant. Run by the very friendly and helpful Dev, Shahi Palace is a solid budget hotel. Most rooms are large and furnished with local textiles. The hotel really does have the best rooftop in Jaisalmer. You can relax on one of the balconies, enjoy some food and drinks from the restaurant and admire the amazing view to the Fort. Worth a stay even if it is to have a meal and enjoy the view.

The location is awesome you can see the immense fort from the roof top restaurant this place has. Rooms are good and staffs are very friendly. Food is also good. The owner also has liasining with desert safari activities in the jaisalmer itself. I stayed for almost 10 days it felt like home. Thanks to Akshay the owner itself is available most of the time to listen to your needs.

Staying at shahi palace hotel was like stepping back in time, with a touch of modern comfort. The location is unbeatable just a short Walk from the Jaisalmer fort . The rooms are well maintained with traditional decor ,clean and comfortable, Staff are kind and good hospitality . Always Recommend Shahi Palace Hotel if you are in Jaisalmer.

My Jaisalmer visit was not completed without visiting shahi palace , i was stayed at shahi palace for few nights and I have to say that it was best stay. The rooms are cozy and nice with Rajasthani decoration. I particularly liked the architecture of the building and the impeccable cleanliness of the premises. The food is served with a many varieties of operations. The ambience is lovely. Overall a good experience.

The hotel and the restaurant are very beautiful and well located. The food is delicious. We met the owner of the place, Devilal, who is an incredible *** who told us lot is stories about Jaisalmer, and gave us a lot of advices. We recommend this place and will come back for sure !

It was great experience staying at shahi palace. Booked a castel room with agoda which is best room in shahi . We extend one more day with them. Best views from rooftop and rooms as well. All amenities provided by hotel like desert safari , camel ride , private car . Rooms are enough of size and clean . We just plan for a day in jaisalmer but when we arrived here than we meet with akshay (property manager) . He plaaned for us for 2 days in jaisalmer which is great with him. We have short time but definitely come again and spend some more time in jaisalmer m Would definitely like to visit again someday .

I stay here for couple of nights. The room is very clean and nice and air-conditioning cool very good.. The view of fort is superb from the roof top. The location is city center ,the fort is 10 minutes walk and the gadisagar lake ,haveli are walking distance. . Over all nice experience . I will come back again with family.

Stunning place in a great location, very close to the fortress. The neighborhood is very peaceful and cozy. Staff tries their best for their guests, constantly helping when needed and making sure I have everything I need. The room is very spacious with comfortable beds and a good shower. Towels are included and wi-fi works perfectly. But the most important thing here is the rooftop with an amazing view of the fortress, the best location to see the fortress, especially in the evening in the lights. Besides that they cook so delicious food, I honestly had nothing tastier on this trip, they made it not spicy as I asked and I appreciate it. I recommend it to everyone. Don't hesitate when choosing a place in Jaisalmer, it's your best choice!

I was here with friends and it was great stay even thought it was super hot near to degree , the staff made good welcome and takes good care of their guest. The roof top is not to be forgotten,the roof have beautiful views at day or night . Our room was nice and cool ,the ac worked very good , that's only the required when it's too hot. Definitely will come back to stay here again
