Kasam Desert Safari Camp

Kasam desert safari camp is simply awesome. Their tents are neat and clean and beautifully decorated, even location wise it is very well situated. It is also a kid and family friendly resort. But nothing can compare their services. Too good service, whenever and whatever we asked for it was provided. All the staffs are so well behaved and welcoming. Food was also good. Overall a very nice and comfortable stay. Best desert camp in jaisalmer Will recommend everyone.

We arrived to the place , at 15h30. As soon we arrived to our “tent” we noticed that it was dirty . The staff was very helpful, we complained and they changed for other dirty sheets . The desert tour started before sunrise . And it was a very nice experience by Jeep . But as soon we arrived the dunes , we figure out that it was very crowded with a lot of Indian Tourists , many beggars too . But still was a good experience . When we came back to the camping site , we were welcome with a very fast and shallow vibe . Then we were informed to watch the sow on other camping site . The cultural experience had some issues : 1- the sound from the speakers was terrible . No sound technician . 2- the musicians were very good , but had no stages lights on them . 3- the dancers were not professional , since they stop dancing many times in the middle of the music . 4- in the end , the music became electronic and not tradicional as it should be on a cultural experience . They offered us as snack during the show , and chai . It was good . After the show we went dinner , also on the resort next to ours ( we don’t understand how we’ve booked on one camping site , and we had show and dinner , and breakfast on other ). The dinner was ok, but the dinning room was very hot . Toilet : no hot water. Dirty No soap . Breakfast : not good . No fruit , no porridge , only some toasts , chai , and spicy food . It was very poor . Conclusion : The best was the staff , because they were very friendly . The desert tour experience was positive , but crowdy The experience in the camping site was disappoint.

The desert safari experience itself was like any other safari in the vicinity. All of them take you to the same place and provide same experience. Owner kasam bhai and his brother were good and hospitable. The camp however was a different experience altogether. It was really dirty, nit well maintained. Dinining hall had flies all over. tables were not wiped after each meal so there were flies constantly all over. So even though the food was above average but you will lose all appetitie seing the hygiene of the place. Linen in the tents was not clean it had spots all over, though when asked, they did change but all their linen was like that. Sand in the tents and linen dint help at all. Night program and performers were good but again all operators in the vicinity provide the same experience. They woke us up at 7 to take advantage of hot water. Luckily i showered immediately as i heard the camp ran out of hot water in half hour. Everybody was complaining. All in all, I would probably try another operator if I go there again. I learnt later that my hotel also provides the safari experience without the camp. Their program included under the sky experience for those more adventurous people. In the hindsight I probably should have gone for that.

This is the only place from where you will be able to see the entire city and have wonderful coffee and snacks together with the view. This is also an amazing place to see the sunrise with the clear skies and this place has a honted village with an amazing history. We left in Heritage Juma Resort (tent) where we saw different types of performances. We also enjoyed jip and camel safari. It was very adventurous. I recommend

I enjoyed my two night stay over there with most thrilling jeep safari. Safe and clean place . As a solo female traveller I found place to be very safe and fun . Evening traditional dance program was amazing followed by Tasty Rajsthani dinner.
