Hotel Takitei

It is a very old hot spring hotel with old facilities. It may have just been acquired by the Chinese, so most of the service staff are Chinese, and all the guests staying here are Chinese tour groups. I usually book a night and two meals for hot spring hotels, but I suggest not to book the meals here, which are quite unpalatable!! They will arrange to eat group meals with the tour group. The environment is very noisy and the food is not authentic. Dinner is a plate of raw onions, a plate of pickled radish, a pork pot, a sashimi, and the fried food and fried fish are all cold and not tasty. There are no drinks provided, and rice and miso soup can be refilled. Breakfast is a buffet, with not many choices, and it is also arranged with the tour group. It can be said to be the worst hot spring hotel I have ever stayed in.

The location is at the end of Shuzenji Hot Spring Street, which is convenient for traveling. At this price in this area, the room is not small, the breakfast is good, and there is a large bathroom. There is not much to say about it. The price/performance ratio is very high. I feel safe choosing it.

The room is Japanese style, about 10 tatami in size. The entrance hall is also quite spacious, and there is a small cabinet to store things. You can drink tea on the balcony, look at the mountain view outside the window, and hear the sound of water and crows. The overall facilities are also relatively old, but the hygiene is good. There are two indoor and outdoor hot springs, which are also very clean. The breakfast is self-service, with a wide variety. If you are not too picky, you can basically skip lunch after breakfast. The Japanese are very punctual. Breakfast ends at 9 o'clock. I overslept on the second day of my stay. I arrived at the restaurant at 9:01. They said apologetically that breakfast was over and would not let me in. So you must pay attention to the time when eating breakfast. Dinner is not included in the room rate. I added a dinner, which seems to be around 2,800 yen. The appearance and taste are also worth the money. The video was taken for dinner. This hotel is worth recommending. I guess I will stay here again when I come to Izu next time.

The whole building is in the style of the 1990s. The nearby bus stop is only about 100 meters away from the hotel. It seems to be a Chinese-run hotel, and there is Chinese service at the front desk. In addition, the buffet is very simple. It doesn't matter if it is simple, at least it tastes better, but it is also very unpalatable. I read a lot of good reviews and was fooled.
