It's almost close to everything. Room looks exactly like the pictures. Service very nice. Everything was actually great, except that the room was on the street side and you could hear a bit of traffic noise in the morning, but it wasn't a problem. Everything was good.. It's plenty for people who don't stay in the room all the time..

This was most certainly the worst hotel I've stayed in till date. After reading poor reviews for many Istanbul hotels close to sultanahmet, i saw some good reviews for this and decided to book. On arrival, the front office manager on the reception desk couldn't find our reservations, this took at least 10mins for him to sort, which I wasn't too pleased with, especially as we'd been travelling for around 15hours and had got off an overnight flight with no sleep with my elderly mother with me, that, and he didn't as so much apologise. Oh well, I let it go and we made our way up to the room. The deluxe room I'd booked was *tiny*, there was just enough floor space to open one suitcase, take what you need, close it and put it away to be able to move past it. The bathroom was nice and spacious and clean too. I was about to hop into the shower when I pulled a towel off the rack.....brown poo stains were smeared over it. I was absolutely disgusted. I rang reception (the only number you can ring) and the front office manager said he'll send up housekeeping, yet again, not even a simple 'sorry'. I expressed how disgusted I was, I had only been in the hotel half an hour at this point! Housekeeping arrived shortly and replaced the towels. I had booked breakfast with our stay. The selection of food is very minimal. There were 2 waitresses who spent their time cleaning tables and stocking plates, guests were mainly ignored. Despite having paid for breakfast, you had to buy eggs and fresh juices. the only eggs available in the breakfast buffet were scrambled eggs and the juice was one I saw the waitress reconstituting from a powder and water. I've never stayed in a hotel where I've paid for breakfast and then been told I'd have to pay extra for certain items on the breakfast menu! Daylight robbery! I asked for an iron, which was sent up promptly. I rang down to enquire about the ironing board as there was nowhere to iron. The front office manager said ”Lady, you asked for an iron and you've got one now so what do you want!” I explained that i need a board to iron on, he said he'd see and call me back and angrily put the phone down. I didn't hear back for a few hours and needed clothes to go out in. So i had to use the bed as a make shift ironing board, not to mention the spits of hot water that burnt my hand in the process. Later in the day I rang for something else and also mentioned I didn't hear back about the ironing board- front office manager simply said he's been busy-no apology. He sent housekeeping to the room- a friendly lady who couldn't speak English and yet when i explained to her she understood and promptly brought me one. Be careful when ordering room service - the hotel don't actually make the food....they order takeout! I was told it would come in 20mins, I chased up 30mins later and was told 5mins, and then I chased up again and someone else who picked up laughed and said no it wouldn't be 5mins, it'll be another 20mins. This hotel stay was very good. The breakfast was amazing. Very large spread of food items to choose. Every day they change some items. Everyone enjoys the breakfasts. Families and friends. Staff at breakfast service are excellent. Overall good service. If any issues just call the reception and they will try best to assist. We chose this hotel because is was good prices during the peak july summer month. It also has fitness centre. We also were careful to choose room with shower alone and not bathtub. Also, the hotel was very good on booking.com chat. They answered all my questions on the chat. Perfect location near to taksim and istiklal walking street. Many nearby restaurants and supermarkets open till late night. Not boring area. Booked again for an august stay. Thank you Nippon Team. See you soon.

I have been here at the hostel for a week. The service is very nice and they help where they can. I had a room change without problems and these are clean and relatively quietly located to a side street. The bakery faces one in the morning with the smell of fresh bread ;) However, no loud supply. Breakfast is nice, marmelade, honey, some vegetables and tea, water or coffee. It is worth mentioning that the staff members clean every day. Only in the bathroom is a hook to hang up and protect his stuff and cultural bags from wet :D

To begin with, now this hotel is called DNZ TAXIM FERİDİYE HoTEL. I booked a stay for three nights through booking in a deluxe room. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that did not match the description and photo when booking. We returned to the administrator with an attempt to explain that the number was clearly different. He looked for our reservation for a long time, found it, and eventually gave us another room. It was larger and similar in size to the one in the photo, but it did not match in appearance. We were told that there were no other rooms available. In the end, I had to stay in this room. Then we began to examine it in more detail and were in a slight shock. The point was the condition of the room itself: the door trims were broken off, the walls were all chipped to the ground, the sink was loose, the shower hose was frayed, the faucet that was kept on parole. The faucet and fan just stuck out of the wall, everything above the doorway in the bathroom was smeared with cement without any kind of decoration (everything is in the photo). Towels are dirty, with lipstick residue and holes. Bed linen was also in question. The price included breakfast, which again turned out to be not the same as in the photo on bo***********A photo of breakfast is also attached to the review. The main thing there is half a loaf. Arabs work at the front desk, who know a couple of words in English, that is, it is extremely difficult to communicate with them. And finally, the cherry on the cake. We decided that we could not stand here for three nights and leave after two nights. As a result, the administrators canceled our reservation when we checked out, and sent information to booking that we supposedly did not check in. In general, they simply deceive people! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Checked out on April 30, 2024, here's the latest review! Hahaha... Westin is pretty good overall. I booked it because it will open in 2022. At least the facilities are newer. Besides, the hotel is in a good location, with a lot of food around. There is a Starbucks and other coffee shops downstairs, a McDonald's opposite, and a Ramada Hotel. The front desk service attitude is also good, and they are very cooperative in taking photos. From April 28 to 30, I stayed for a total of 2 nights, but the hotel only provided slippers on the first day, and there were no more after that. I don't know why. ps: The room provides a small lavender essential oil for sleep aid, which is convenient to carry, which is good. In general, I am quite satisfied and will choose Westin next time I go.

The Lika Hotel is located in a convenient location in the historic center, namely in the Sultanahmet area. I booked this hotel with my wife and child (10 months) for holidays - from April 30 to May 4. The settlement was quickly passed. Hotel staff is responsive and ready to answer any questions. I put this hotel low rating as I believe guests should accommodate in a clean room with clean bed linen. Unfortunately, we found that on the bed linen of whose hair, the floor in the room is dirty, and the sink in the bathroom if and washed, it was bad, because there were hair on it too. Our request for replacing bed linen was immediately accepted by the hotel staff. Another problem with this hotel is that the first floor room is very well heard what is happening at the reception desk. And this review forced me to write just that. Just 15 minutes ago, at the registration bar, a woman was very loud, which caused my child to wake up (now 23:10) and began to cry. To my comment, this woman did not react and kept shouting. In general, I have the conclusion about this hotel: 1. We need to control the purity of the rooms. 2. We need to solve the problem with sound insulation in the first floor room. Unfortunately, these 2 problems prevent me from putting the Lika hotel rating above.
