This hotel is just lovely. A quick short blocks from the main train station. Mario at the front desk was wonderful. He offered some nice advice on things to do and items to try at the Christmas markets. The hotel was located a quick 7-10 min walk straight down to the city center. Very easy. The room was spacious and modern. We had two double or maybe even Queen(?) beds. It was so comfortable. And the view? Wow. We did book a Mountain View room and it was worth it. The room was very reasonable either way. It snowed a bit while we were there and it was just beautiful. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Innsbruck!

We booked a Panorama Deluxe room for 3 nights, checking in on Sept. 20th. The property is centrally located along the train station and features a parking directly connected by elevator. The “piece de resistance” of this tall building is clearly its stunning view on the town and surrounding mountains. We were lodged in room 1104 on the 11.th floor which is the top floor featuring rooms, as the 12th accommodates the lounge/restaurant where breakfast is also served. Curiously, the hotel doesn’t have a lobby in a traditional sense: the concierge & cashier counter can be found in a small separate office on the basement and the elevators to the rooms are located in a small hall, across a glass door, which opens directly on Brunecker Street. Access security to the floors being managed by room key-card, you can enter/exit the property and the parking with no contact to any staff at all. Our room was a corner one, rather large, beautifully architected and nicely furnished in a contemporary metropolitan style. From virtually any point of the room (bathroom included) it was possible to spot some additional detail of the stunning panorama. The room was comfortable and quiet (in spite of the near busy train station), breakfast was good and we definitively had a very good time here in Innsbruck.

The Alphotel Innsbruck is probably the worst hotel we've ever stayed at! But we had no choice since we were on a tour package and this was the hotel that Gate1 chose for our itinerary. We weren't the only tour members who did not have a good stay at this hotel. Our tour group had a long day and we were scheduled to arrive late so we were all pretty tired when we arrived. Unfortunately the room we were assigned to didn't even look or feel exceptionally clean and I'm surprised I didn't take photos of the room! Comparing posted photos of the rooms on TA our room looked much older and didn't even have a real chair, but only one of those small round ottomans. And that ottoman was dirty and stained, so we didn't want to sit on that! The bedspread had that ”ick” factor, so we removed it but at least the sheets were clean. Carpet looked grungy so we made sure to wear our slippers and not walk barefoot on it. Regret not taking pictures of the room now. We've stayed at hotels with older or ”tired” decor but they were at least neat and clean, but not at this hotel! Now the ”fun” part was our bathroom door. I was getting ready to take a shower and went into the bathroom, but wanted to use my own soap and toiletries, so I went out of the bathroom and my husband (who was standing in front of the bathroom, looking at the closet or something right across from the bathroom) shut the opaque glass bathroom door. I went back to the bathroom and tried to open the door and it was locked! It was one of those simple privacy type locks where there's usually a pinhole that you can usually press and it'll pop open. Unfortunately, there was no pinhole but a screw so I tried twisting the screw but the door remained locked. Husband tried but it kept turning and he didn't have any tools so he called the front desk and they sent the maintenance guy up. The maintenance guy looked at the door and tried twisting the screw with the same results and said he needed to go get his tools. He returned with his small toolbox and tried several screwdrivers, with no luck. Then he tried using a small drill to remove the screw and still couldn't get the door unlocked. Meanwhile, we were sitting on the bed and watching tv since there was nothing else we could do. I texted our friends who were also traveling in the tour group and assigned to the room right next door to let them know what was happening. And to apologize to them for the loud racket, as the maintenance guy went and got his large power drill and was basically removing the entire door knob and panel. So the guy had to destroy the whole door knob panel because the door lock screw or nut inside the panel was probably stripped and couldn't unlock or open the door; so if I was on the other side of the door I would have been stuck in the bathroom! Other hotel guests across the hall were opening their doors to find out what the loud racket and noises and disturbance was. This whole problem took the poor m

Clean and free water was provided. I also found my lost wallet and the counter staff was so friendly. It was a pity that it leaked a little even if it was watered by the bathtub, but it was only a sense of the bathtub. Recommended

Let’s start by saying that you cannot please everybody. I came here with my family, and we booked two rooms, one for the kids and the loft-style one for the wife and me. This review is based on this experience. I am not sponsored nor incentivized by the hotel. Although there were some outside parking spots, I chose to go underneath the hotel out of sheer curiosity. I’ve enjoyed that quite a bit. I could send the kids to the parking house if they forgot a jacket, or headphones inside the car. There are three major highlights of this place: the first is the view. The hotel faces a mountain wall where you can see the morning sun stretch itself all over it. You can see the town sprawled right at the base of this enormous mountain wall. This is an objective way to review where you are in life and make you think of things bigger than yourself. If you are not into that kind of thing, I can understand. The second is the layout of the hotel. Bear with me on this one, seeing that I am not an architect but a customer. The rooms are not stacked on top of each other like a high-rise. Instead, they are arranged in a fashion where you go to a different department for the pool, then you head to a different department for the parking, and another one for your room. I found it very interesting because navigating inside feels like an adventure. The hotels have at least five elevators. I was baffled to see so many elevators in a hotel in Germany. If walking is not your thing, take the Aufzug. Last thing, this one my family enjoyed quite a bit and that is the restaurant. It is a buffet style for the morning and a reservation in the afternoon. The part worth mentioning here is the delivery and seamliness of the crew operating those restaurants (there are two of them). I am not talking about customer service but intent on ensuring you enjoy your time while eating there. A whole bunch of young people are well-trained in what they do. Of course, some honorable mentions are the pool, the sauna (three styles), the gym, the EV parking, the lake behind the hotel, the hiking path behind the hotel, the game room at the lobby, the dress code, the bar, and lastly the undeniable peace and quiet. I am fortunate to be able to stay there with my family. Nevertheless, we all know there are things in life one simply cannot pay for them.

The rooms are very simple, and the villagers' houses are visually sensitive. The air conditioner is very poor, it often turns off automatically, and wakes up several times during sleep. The surface of the wooden floor looks the same. I put on my socks and walked around. The socks became very dirty. It is estimated that the cleaners only vacuumed and did not mop the floor. The curtains were pulled vigorously, and the dust got into the eyes. It should have been a long time since they were cleaned. There is a balcony but the privacy is poor, it is not blocked, and it is shared by the residents on the first floor. There is a restaurant less than ten meters from the balcony, and there are people sitting outside in the morning, at night, and facing here. The only satisfaction is that the restaurant environment is not bad, but the rooms are so rudimentary that it can't be more rudimentary.

Imagine you spend 1300€ for 2 nights at a 4-star hotel, expecting to have a romantic dinner and relax. But instead you end up crying in your room while your husband is in pain from food poisoning because he ate a sandwich at the sauna restaurant 4 hours before. And the next morning the hotel manager tells you that you have no proof and it is probably your own fault. This is what happened to us My husband and I came to the AquaDome Therme hotel, expecting to celebrate our marriage anniversary and relax. On the first day my husband ate a sandwich at the restaurant in the SaunaWelt area. 4 hours later he started to have really bad food poisoning symptoms: vomiting, diarrhoea, fever, stomachache, weakness. Though the receptionists and waiters were very responsive and assisted us well that night, we could not enjoy the facilities and our whole anniversary was ruined. The next day my husband was still feeling weak and couldn’t eat properly. When my husband complained to the manager Sascha Rössel the next day, he told us that we have no proof that it happened because of the sandwich. He also implied that we were being dishonest. When I made a comment in English and asked if he can speak it so that I can also follow the conversation, he replied that his vocabulary is not sufficient and continued in German. In the end, he unwillingly removed the sandwich from our bill, but only the sandwich. I assume we were not taken seriously because of our relatively young age and the calm tone of speaking. Though we had a good impression of the facilities (thermal pools, saunas and the room service), the manager’s insensitivity and indifference could not let us enjoy the stay. It was not the kind of service we expected from a 4-star hotel. And it was the worst anniversary we ever had. Also the most expensive. I wish we spent the money on literally anything else. We left the hotel more stressed and disappointed than we were before we arrived. We are never going to stay there again. And I do not recommend it to anyone.

Decorated in traditional Bavarian style, the Sonnenhof’s restaurant serves German and international food. On Thursdays and Fridays we will be happy to serve you in our restaurant Meat & More Cocktailbar in our Ludwig Residenz, which is about 200m from the hotel. During summer months, meals and drinks can be enjoyed on the terrace. The Sonnenhof offers a range of spa facilities, such as a bio sauna, steam room and an indoor pool. The ski-resort town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen is a 20-minute drive away.

I stayed in this hotel in July. As I travelled with Deutsche Bahn, I took a bus from the train station, because of the heavy luggage (Oberammergau was not my only stop). I was glad to see that there's a bus stop near the hotel. From the station you can take any bus driving to Linderhof, Garmisch, and so so on, for they all stop there, at the parking near the little river in front of the hotel. I was warmly welcomed and I was glad and surprised to discover that I got a free upgrade of my room. I booked a double room single use and got a 45 mt. apartment at the top floor! The elevator doesn't go to this upper floor, so I had to make the last steps on a staircase, but I was asked, if I had a problem with that. The apartment consisted of an entrance, a double room with balcony with mountain view, a large bathroom with two windows, a room to store luggage, a living room and a little single room. Both the double room and the living room had a TV and a bottle of mineral water with two glasses. On the balcony there was a table with two chairs, and night illumination: it was really wonderful to spend some time in the evening there. The breakfast buffet is very good and the same restaurant serves dinner (you can choose the daily menu or a la carte) in the evening and is a bar/cafe during the afternoon. It also has an outside terrace. Dishes are very tasty and abundant and the restaurant staff is very kind. There's a fitness room, a very small swimming pool with very long opening times and perfect water temperature, sauna, and so on. You can borrow a bathrobe and pool towel from the reception. For the rainy days there are also some living rooms at the reception floor. You can hire bikes at the reception (unfortunately the day I planned for a bike tour it was raining!) and the prices are fair. I had a great stay at the hotel and I hope to stay another time there in the future. It was one of my best stays ever.

Outstanding
GGuest UserIt's within walking distance from the train station. It's also very convenient to take the bus. The service is very good. Free luggage storage. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. The room facilities are very new. The room is very big. It's a great experience.
Room very basic but generally adequate. Plus points: God location, nice lobby area and staff were friendly. WiFi seemed ok for me. Negatives: far too warm overnight especially with the very heavy duvet which is the only bedding available, had to leave the window open even though it was -9 C outside, this meant it was very noisy. Not enough pillows, 1 very flat pillow makes for an uncomfortable night for people used to more. I kept migrating to the divot in between the two narrow single beds making up the double as the curve in the mattresses was very pronounced. Not the cleanest room. Little sound proofing inside and very noisy from adjacent rooms. Could hear the person above coughing / sneezing / walking around and even zipping their suitcase at 6am!
CChengweidongBecause the hotel is located in the pedestrian street, a accidentally self-driving car 🚗 broke in, was chased by the police car 🚓 and fined 25 euros. The parking lot 🅿️ is located underground in the commercial center opposite the hotel. I asked twice to find it. In addition to the mall, you can see Anna pillar. , Diagonally opposite is the hotel, Need to carefully observe 👀 breakfast is very good 👍 room facilities meet travel needs, the location is particularly good, surrounded by attractions and shopping places, there are various restaurants and bars on the street at night, and music lovers play and sing in the afternoon 🎤 If you like it, you can give them a coin or you think it fits Appropriate cost
GGuest UserI can’t praise these apartments enough. If you are looking for something between a hotel with facilities that you pay for but never use and fully self catering, then this is an ideal option. We were sent an email with clear and detailed information a few days before arriving. Our apartment was clean, compact and offered everything we needed. There was a jug of water in the room that we could top up and keep cool in the fridge. Our room was cleaned daily and coffee cups for the machine and milk cups were replenished daily. Even though we didn’t put our towels on the floor indicating that we wanted them changed, we found clean towels in the bathroom every day. This could have been due to the very high temperatures the first few days we were there. The room remained warm once the outside temperature had dropped and we returned that evening to find a humidifier in the apartment. The service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserWe had a great time at the Urban Inn! Modern and tastefully furnished apartment. Clean. The spaces are not large but we had a good time! Check in is online but we didn't have any difficulty getting in. The only limitation is that some apartments have windows at the back, ours on the ground floor looked out a bit onto the bins... Excellent location, 10 minute walk from the Golden Roof
BBond72It is a hotel with a very good location next to the train station. There are many convenience stores inside the train station. I traveled to visit the festive Christmas market within walking distance. And likewise, the city is not big when staying at this hotel. You can take a walking tour to see the Innes River. and pastel-colored buildings conveniently Including various tourist attractions, it is easy to walk. Plus, the view from the bedroom of the snow-capped mountains is very beautiful. The staff were very nice, good service, most impressive.
MMagoo74We had a very comfortable stay in a triple room overlooking the mountains and the gardens and houses and apartments at the back of the hotel. It was quiet at night, and we all slept comfortably. The room is well proportioned for a family of three. My only quibble is that the beds could do with more than one pillow per person; and a coffee/tea station is need for the price that is charged per night. The bar downstairs is very nice for an evening drink. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to all amenities. I can't vouch for the breakfast as we didn't book breakfast, and we went to the local cafe Ruetz around the corner on the little square which is fabulous.
GGuest UserThe hotel has an excellent location in Innsbruck. Everything can be easily reached on foot or by public transport. The staff at reception is super friendly, attentive and helpful.
However, the breakfast area and the service staff there are critical.
On Sunday an hour before the end of the breakfast buffet, yawning emptiness was the order of the day. Not only was the service staff missing, there was also a lack of food. There was no more bread, no toast, only 3 rolls, there were no Danish pastries or croissants. There were no vegetables such as cucumbers, peppers, etc. There was only jam and honey and packaged Nutella. The rest of the jam was empty. Egg dishes and Co were available, but cold.
On top of that, the service staff from breakfast was rude and unfriendly. The young ladies were audibly arguing in the open kitchen area and complaining about the guests. Guests' requests for bread, cheese, etc. were only dismissed with ”we don't have it, it's over”. The inappropriately awkward tone of voice and inability to accept negative customer feedback made the atmosphere very uncomfortable.
All in all, the breakfast for a 4* hotel, with quite stately room prices, can only be rated as unsatisfactory.
The shower in the room also had to be complained about, since the shower head was heavily calcified and almost no water came out. The exchange by the caretaker worked well. Only the hose was too short to be able to use the wall bracket. So you had to shower by hand in the sloping roof.
Hotel room #503 was beautiful and reasonably spacious for a deluxe room. With a small balcony (very nice) at the back and with a wonderful view of the Nordkette.
GGuest UserI really wanted to like this place, right in the middle of the old town with large rooms by European standards. But when the manager threatens to call the cops and makes your sister-in-law cry based on a booking error, well you can only rate it one star. We were two families. My sister-in-law had a family of 5 and booked one of the rooms on ******* that had 2 double beds and a couch. ******* only let her enter 4 guests, which she figured was a limitation of how ******* worked. In any case, it didn't matter, as my family of 4 had booked a different room with the same number of beds, but which definitely slept 6, so we could take an extra person. Fast forward to check-in. When the manager asked my sister-in-law how many people she had, she said 5, at which point he went ballistic. He started calling her a ”f***ing American”, told her to get out of the hotel, and threatened to call the cops. It took several f-bombs later and a bit of help from the rest of the staff (which seemed dismayed at the manager's behavior), until he let her stay. At this point she was in tears. Completely abhorrent behavior. That manager needs a new profession. OH, and everything the review below said about the heat is 100% true. The building is designed like a greenhouse with a big open atrium with skylights at the top. This traps the heat in the building and sends it to the top floor. If you are unlucky enough to have the top floor rooms like the Stadtturm, you will bake. The highs during our stay topped out at only 80 degrees, but you can't get the heat out of the room with one tiny window. They might even promise you a portable air conditioner, but they don't vent it, so it just spits cold air out the front and hot air out the back, for no net gain. NEVER stay on the top floors in the summer here.
I stayed here for 3 nights, reception is only staffed between 3 and 7, I arrived by train at 12 so I left my luggage in the station lockers for 3hrs. I would say this was quite a basic hotel, it had a TV but no fridge, tea making facilities, safe or hairdryer. The breakfast was ok, bread rolls, croissants, meat, cheese, boiled egg, cereals, coffee, fruit juices. My pillow was very soft so I requested a second pillow via the booking app which they duly obliged the next day. The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the train/bus station and also to the old town, however it is on a busy street, the traffic noise was not an issue but the groups of people talking loudly on the street at 3am was. This happened on 2 of the 3 nights I stayed.
