Located at a very convenient location for our climb to 天都山. The coordinator Xu was really nice, helpful and informative. Introduced us to a good sunrise spot and even offered to help us move our luggage if we were checking out late(though we didn't need it in the end)! Service staff is professional and friendly but with limitations as compared to the other hotel we stayed up in the mountains. Just a little hopeful for more food options in the area so that we are not forced to eat buffet with our small stomach.

First off, our fault, we didn't take note of the negative reviews of the service rendered in this hotel. It is a beautiful hotel, with amazing details and decorative accents. It is such a waste that the service standard is dismal. The lady at the reception was very dismissive when we checked in, after our long day of hiking. We managed to descend huangshan and reach the hotel about 6pm. She coldly informed us we have to have our dinner (before 8pm) and hotspring (before 9pm). We really scrambled and otherwise, you won't have food, and they would not allow us to use the hotspring voucher for the next day. Next, it might be a ”hotspring” hotel (throw away all preconceived thoughts of onsens), but u are only allowed one use a day, and it is only available from 3pm to 9pm. Next, apparently there is some transport restrictions for this hotel. So you can't just go out of the hotel to the town to eat and come back as there are specific timings u can go out or come into the hotel, via their transport team. You are basically holed in the hotel, which is fine for just one day, but not for longer stays. The food is acceptable, but they really meant it when they say it is a self-service buffet. The lady manager is especially surly. I don't think she was targeting us, she was equally dismissive to all (I guess that is some consolation) The staff delivered us 4 bottles of water while looking at his phone, no eye contact in any way (but this might just us being boomers by expecting some form of hospitality) The lady at the noodle station asked us to get our own soup bowl, while she continued with her douyin surfing.

This is the best, reasonably priced hotel on the mountain. The service was excellent especially when we arrived and asked for double bed not two singles, they provided water while we waited 15mins. The dinner and breakfast had a lot of choices, it was tasty and so we would recommend booking with both dinner and breakfast included. Building A is the one to book if you can, building B is a 5 minute walk downhill. The rooms are tired but comfortable and they provide a foot bath to soak your tired legs and down jackets to wear to view sunrise and sunset. It is close to the highest point on the mountain so there is a lot of walking uphill to get there, but the position is the good for the other walks. Perfect stay at J.Mountain for family trip. Available in Trip.com. Our stay period in summer season (consider off peak?). Prior to stay, the staff are very prompt in helpful Q and A. Services are exceedingly good, excellent and accomodating. All staff are friendly, approachable, and careful to details. Sharing local culture and history, and place of interest. Outstanding concierge service. Our stay include Tea appreciation, sumptuous dinner (2 choices), and hearty breakfast (2 choices). We were given complimentary drinks at bar, and alternative dishes to met dietary requirement. Very useful that hotel provide Hotel-Train station transfer. service, and other short distance ride to Huangshan hiking entrance (saved a lot of time). Staff helped us booked our Cableway tickets which saved us time to queue for tickets and avoid buying wrong tickets. Very spacious open concept, clean and modern room and furnishings like king size bed, large Sofa, round Table TV. Balcony with lush tranquillity view of nature full of mountainous greenery and waterfall. Sound of nature (cicada) and fortunately room comes with good sound proofing sliding door. Bath tub, shower area, and WC with build in sensor and biget spray. Standard Amenities are provided. Electric source is China 2-pin 3-pin plug standard and USB. Hotel is located within the Huangshan park (?). Saving us time in getting clearance at Park security office as the Driver brought us through the security checks with ease. We felt like VIP. Hotel is a short drive away to nearest cableway (called ‘hot spring’ cableway etc.). Do bring rain coat as weather up in the mountain is unpredictable. It rained when we reached up at ‘Yuping’ cableway. Hotel staff offered us rain coat. We have a skilful driver to transport us safely form our Hotel-Train station transfer.

Facilities: Quite old-fashioned Hygiene: Very good 👍 Environment: The natural environment is very good, especially after dinner, take a walk to the Tangkou Creek below, and be amazed by the unfiltered jelly water! Service: Superb service, from the front desk to the restaurant to the driver who took us to the parking spot, they were all super nice! I hope to maintain such a good service attitude and stay here again next time. The only drawback is that the buses passing through the scenic area are somewhat noisy, but the waiter was very helpful in arranging a seat on the inside, so it was quiet at night. At first I just wanted to make do with it for one night, but I never expected that everything would exceed my expectations! grateful!

Check in service was great upon arriving. They will give a large printed map and advise the route to take according to your preference. They added us on WeChat to update on all services available and sunrise info. Room was clean and signage saying tap water is portable from Huangshan spring. Boba tea's tapioca balls were powdery. Resources are difficult to carry up so maybe they served us overnight pearls. Food was not cheap but understandable. Breakfast was good with the traditional buns and soy bean drink etc. There is a walkway connected to the main building from the 2nd floor of blk B. Sunrise location changed to about 40min walk (one way) in Dec so it was steps and steps again on the second day morning but it's all worth it. Best communication from the helpful staff (in Chinese)

Great experience. Friendly, prepared for the snow/cold by lending me a warm jacket, great location to wake up early and see sunrise. I booked for 2 nights but the weather caused many activities to be closed so I checked out 1 day early and requested a refund for the day I didn’t stay (by messaging with a representative on Trip.com, they initiated the request and I made sure the hotel was aware so they could approve). The only thing I would ask to change is that the smoking smell from the hallway creeped into the room (I requested a none smoking room). Maybe have 1 floor or a section of the floor non-smoking but I understand it is culture to smoke. Even though the weather prevented me from seeing a clear sky sunrise, it was worth staying at the top for 1 night so I didn’t have to carry much as I explored, being able to borrow a jacket to stay warm and rest between walks at the hotel.

Although the price is definitely a little high, it makes sense for a hotel situated on top of a mountain. The public areas were bright and spotless. The room I booked was comfortable and mostly clean. The bathroom did have bits of black on the ceiling. Can’t beat the location though, as it’s close to a great spot to watch the sunset/sunrise. Appreciate especially the helpful service and timely communication from Kai at the front desk, who was also kind enough to share his photography of the night sky. I was able to get a few cool shots at a scenic outlook he had recommended. Maybe because I went a little late, but the dinner buffet was pretty mediocre. Overall a very good stay. Would book again, but maybe choose other food options.

You can watch the clouds roll by from the hotel terrace, without having to squeeze into the viewing platforms! The special activities arranged by the hotel are great! The butler service is timely and responsive! The attentive service of the restaurant chef and service staff makes the delicious food even warmer! I was lucky enough to encounter the sea of ​​clouds and spring snow. I will come to Huangshan and the cliff house again when Tiandu Peak is open!

We stayed at GreenTree Inn when climbing Huangshan this time because of its convenient location. It is just a one-minute walk from Xiaoyaoxi Transfer Center. We drove ourselves and stayed at the top of the mountain for one night, so we could park our car for free at the hotel. The room was clean, with hiking poles provided, the food was average, and next door was the bus stop, so it was quite noisy early in the morning, but it didn't have much of an impact on early climbers. The location is particularly advantageous, and those who want to get up early and climb the mountain can rush.
