The most satisfactory hotel to stay in Huangshan, the surrounding environment is very beautiful, 800 meters away from Hongcun, the room is clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the window is just as described, full of green mountains, white walls and black tiles, like a landscape painting, in the morning you will be awakened by the sound of birds and chickens! The front desk guy upgraded the floor, and the auntie who served breakfast was also very enthusiastic. We loved our stay at the Wangshan Panshui! Communication in English at the moment of booking was very efficient. The hotel arranged a driver to pick us up at the train station and to drive us to Hongcun on our last day. The room we booked was really quiet and cozy. It was cold the night we arrived (understandable because we were the only guests at the hotel) but it got much more comfortable on the second day with the radiator heating on. The 2 owners are always available to help and meals (breakfast was included) are served in a restaurant nearby. All our meals were plentiful and packed with flavors. We didn't get to use the common spaces at the hotel because it was quite cold but we did spend some time in the gorgeous garden! We fully recommend!

The decoration is very good and new, with floor heating. We went there in sub-zero weather and it was very cold. The floor heating is really great.
Because it was the off-season, we were the only guests staying on Friday night, so the store gave us a free upgrade. and! The floor heating in both rooms was turned on in advance, allowing us to choose. It's too warm.

All the service staff I met were polite, warm and thoughtful. The climate in the mountains is changeable. I hung the washed clothes on the balcony and went out. I didn't expect that the sky was clear in the last second, and it was pouring rain in the next second. What I didn't expect was that the room attendant had already taken the clothes into the room for me in the rain... Such details are very touching! Miss Jiang Chunyan, the restaurant waitress, always told us which dishes were spicy and which dishes were sweet. She would take the initiative to communicate with the chef if we put forward special taste requirements to make us eat as smoothly as possible. Seeing that I was limping after climbing the mountain, she told me what to do to recover quickly. It really felt so warm! LLily MorrisaThis location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.

DDavidPGPerfect location, very friendly and helpful staff. The entrance to the hotel is a cute, beautiful courtyard, everything is close by. Communication was easy via WeChat, they came to pick us up and carried out heavy luggage all the way to the parking lot, and helped us do laundry in the hotel. The only comments are that the room got some noise from the street, which was very busy at all times, and it wasn’t very well ventilated. They replaced our towels and toiletries but they didn’t make the bed or clean up the room.
In any case this is a great choice for spending a couple of nights right in the middle of Hongcun!

NNatascha B.Very nice hotel, perfectly located opposite of the Hongcun Scenic area. The staff was very welcoming and set up a Wechat group for infos and questions. Our room was very clean and cosy. The hotel has a free afternoon-tea from 2-5pm and you have to make a reservation in advance because the time seats are limited. It is located in a cost tea house. The tea and snacks served were nice and delicious. The outdoor pool was refreshing and clean, with a nice view. To Hongcun you can just take a 5 minute walk and leave the car at the hotel. There is also a Covid-Testing station directly next to the entrance of the Scenic area. For breakfast they had a big selection of local food, we really liked it. The only negative point we have to say that the tea in the morning tasted not good, they didn’t use filtered water, so it had a moldy old taste. All in all I can really recommend the hotel and would book it again. The location and the staff was really great!

The design of the homestay rooms gives one that feeling of antiquity. Takes you back to the Ming Dynasty if you are a Chinese history buff. Also,there is a nicely designed small restaurant at the location. The food was great.
Additionally,I enjoyed my overall stay because the owner was very hospitable. Would definitely recommend to anyone who loves idyllic antique designs.
