The homestay environment is very design-conscious. It feels so good to read a book and listen to the rain in the living room at night. There is actually a fish tank on the roof, which is beautiful. I stayed here for two nights with my friends. The bedding is comfortable. The old street is next door. I will stay here again next time I go on a business trip to Huangshan!

When I went out to find a late night snack in the evening, I met the boss and the proprietress for dinner. I also invited me to taste it. The taste was quite good. Unfortunately, it was too late and the itinerary was too rushed. Next time I come to Huangshan to play, I will taste this private kitchen. 1. the property is very close to the bus entrance to Huang Shan.
2. The boss lady (it's an endearing way to address the women who manage hotels and restaurants in China) is very kind and helpful!
3. the restaurant on the ground floor is pretty good and friendly.
Con:
It's not really a problem of the property. I took the transit organized by the hotel to Hong Cun. The driver was very aggressive in his driving style. We left around 7pm, which is quite dark. He was making aggressive turns and brakes, making everyone onboard extremely nervous.

The bed in the room is comfortable. The boss and his wife are very warm-hearted. I bought breakfast. My parents ate a lot for breakfast. There is no charge for an extra bowl. There are many delicious foods in the surrounding area with different prices, but the boss's is the best in terms of cost performance and taste. It feels like the smell comes from the small stove and good oil. Every dish is delicious, and you get what you pay for! The stinky mandarin fish was so fresh and tender that I ate it at the boss’s house for two days. I forgot to take pictures on the first day. The braised rooster, fresh bamboo shoots and the kid’s favorite sauce were the best! Great value for money! The lady boss introduced the route to Huangshan in great detail and was very considerate. It was a great trip! !

This hotel was amazing and really I can't fault it at all. Room was spacious and new. Some sweet snacks provided for free. Pool and hot springs were both lovely. The restaurant serves local food and every dish we had was delicious. They'll also do your laundry for free - it comes back neatly folded! Staff are very helpful and responsive and can assist with logistics going to and from Mt Huangshan. Highly recommend ☺️

The hot spring is very good, very suitable for relaxing after climbing the mountain ~ The breakfast is rich, and the view restaurant has a good view. Prior to stay, the staff are very prompt in helpful Q and A. Services are exceedingly good, excellent and accomodating. All staff are friendly, approachable, and careful to details. Sharing local culture and history, and place of interest. Outstanding concierge service.
Our stay include Tea appreciation, sumptuous dinner (2 choices), and hearty breakfast (2 choices). We were given complimentary drinks at bar, and alternative dishes to met dietary requirement. Very useful that hotel provide Hotel-Train station transfer. service, and other short distance ride to Huangshan hiking entrance (saved a lot of time).
Staff helped us booked our Cableway tickets which saved us time to queue for tickets and avoid buying wrong tickets.
Very spacious open concept, clean and modern room and furnishings like king size bed, large Sofa, round Table TV. Balcony with lush tranquillity view of nature full of mountainous greenery and waterfall. Sound of nature (cicada) and fortunately room comes with good sound proofing sliding door.
Bath tub, shower area, and WC with build in sensor and biget spray. Standard Amenities are provided. Electric source is China 2-pin 3-pin plug standard and USB.
Hotel is located within the Huangshan park (?). Saving us time in getting clearance at Park security office as the Driver brought us through the security checks with ease. We felt like VIP.
Hotel is a short drive away to nearest cableway (called ‘hot spring’ cableway etc.). Do bring rain coat as weather up in the mountain is unpredictable. It rained when we reached up at ‘Yuping’ cableway. Hotel staff offered us rain coat.
We have a skilful driver to transport us safely form our Hotel-Train station transfer.

GGuest UserI took my baby on a seven-day trip during the summer vacation, and I was most impressed by this hotel. The B&B is just a few hundred meters away from Emerald Valley. It can be said to be the closest B&B to Emerald Valley. When I made the reservation, I didn’t expect it to be so close. In Jade Valley After playing in the valley, we went directly back to the hotel to take a shower. It was very convenient to change clothes. You can also go rafting on the Xiangxi River nearby. The lady boss was very nice. She picked us up and dropped us off several times when we went rafting. She was not too troublesome at all. It’s so awesome for the baby’s family! Moreover, their food is also very delicious. I ate two meals. The food was cooked by themselves. It was clean and delicious. The children also liked it. In the hot summer, you can eat it without leaving the B&B. Delicious meals are really a blessing! Next time I come to Huangshan, I will definitely stay at Mushan Mushui again!

GGuest UserExcellent! This is the best option to stay in the Huangshan area to visit the mountains and surroundings. This boutique hotel is located extremely quietly in the middle of the bamboo forests and tea plantations away from the bustle and hustle, busy streets, people and noisy restaurants- exactly what we needed after a day on the mountain. At the same time it’s only 5-10 minutes away from the South entrance gate, which the hotel will shuttle you to whenever you need. Overall the service and the owners are so so great and helpful with everything.
The hotel overall and the rooms are so tastefully designed, high quality, 1000% clean and everything is tidied up (no messy piles anywhere - unlike in other boutique hotels in China).
You can conveniently get dinner in the hotel, the seating area is beautiful, quiet, designed perfectly and the food was delicious. Breakfast is Chinese breakfast but they are so sweet and offer cereals and toast if you like, however, i brought some other options for my parents which they kindly kept in the fridge.
They also took us to their own tea mountain to watch the sunset and Huangshan Mountain from afar - very special!!! Highly recommend that! The other hiking recommendations (besides than going up Huangshan) were a great addition. I recommend a three night stay, that’s just perfect.
Everything is even nicer than on the pictures, a pleasant and unusual surprise!!
You will not regret to choose this hotel, i stayed in other hotels in Huangshan before and this is the best option with regards to location (!!), design and service.

SSandraThe owner/staff was very helpful and friendly. The room is big, nice, and clean. the whole area exceed our expectations. When it was dinner time, it was a bit hard to get a taxi. They offer options to have dinner at their restaurant but we chose to still go downtown for dinner. And ended up with them delivering us downtown with the hotel’s car.
You can borrow hiking sticks for your hike and store your luggage there. They offer tour guide for the Huangshan scenic area (with separate fee) and free shuttle to the bus station in the morning

GGuest UserWe set off from Nanjing on Saturday morning and drove for 4 hours to Banyan Tree Huangshan, which is located next to Lu Village. The entire hotel is built on the mountain, with a large area and beautiful environment. The lobby is at the highest point of the hotel park, with an excellent view. The viewing platform overlooks the entire Lu Village, especially after a light rain, the air is particularly fresh, the surrounding hills are shrouded in clouds and mist, and with white walls and black tiles, a series of ink paintings come into view. When checking in, the front desk upgraded our original Luyuan King Bed Suite to Xidi Villa. The housekeeper Eima has been serving us attentively, asking if we are satisfied with the room, reminding us of the dining time, sending the hotel menu, asking if we need restaurant reservations, replenishing items, and asking for cleaning time, etc. Whether it is the shuttle bus brother, restaurant waiter, or cleaning and maintenance master, the hotel staff are kind, simple and polite, which made us spend a relaxing and pleasant 2-day holiday.

One of my favorite aspects of the hotel was its idyllic location amidst the breathtaking scenery of Yellow Mountain. Waking up to the awe-inspiring views of lush forests and majestic peaks was a truly unforgettable experience. Exploring the nearby trails and enjoying the fresh mountain air served as the perfect tonic for the soul.
However, my only disappointment was with the dining options at the hotel. While the food provided within the hotel was of decent quality and showcased local cuisine, it would have been nice to have some alternative dining choices nearby. As the hotel was the only dining option in the immediate vicinity, it limited the opportunities to explore the local food scene.

The interior and exterior of the hotel are stunning, almost magical in their appeal. Everywhere you look, you'll find touches of history and culture, from Chinese traditional arts like qin music and calligraphy to poetry and pictures that add to the ambiance.
The service at Yujian No.8 was excellent, with staff members who were attentive but not intrusive, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. One of the highlights was the simple, healthy, homecooked breakfast served each morning, a perfect start to our days of exploration.

SSusanThis hotel is a gem in Tunxi that I found on Trip.com. We regret not staying here for 2 nights at the start of our 4 day trip in Huangshan at the start of Chinese New Year in Jan. 2023 because it is near the Huangshan Bei (North) high speed train station (25 min drive by Didi) and an easy travel to the Yungpu cable car (about 45 min.) to access the mountain. I contacted the hotel and connected on Wechat and the English speaking receptionist Xiao Xi (he is an amazing host and an ambassador for this hotel) answered my questions and sent me the taxi/Didi location. When we arrived we received a warm English welcome and an unexpected upgrade to a spacious gorgeous, already heated room with a huge bath, and shower overlooking the river. Our original room price included breakfast, which was a mix of Chinese and Western choices. I recommend trying the preserved tofu. First time I tried it; it resembles blue cheese, and is surprisingly tasty. We loved the Japanese style design of the hotel. The hotel is situated conveniently near the promenade adjacent the river, Luping cobbled stoned shopping street and Tunxi ancient street. Xiao personally guided us to these streets and made some dinner suggestions. We decided to have dinner at the hotel and had a lovely meal of sushi and ramen. The hotel has many areas designed for guests to relax inside, and outside where you can have cups of tea on the house. It also has a library room where you can relax reading a book or just have a cup of tea. They also offer tea ceremonies which is included in the room price. The swimming pool is an added bonus if you visit in summer. The promenade and shopping street can be accessed from the gate at the outdoor seating area on the roof as well. I definitely recommend staying a night or two in this beautifully designed hotel with friendly staff and service in English and Chinese. The locals were friendly and a sandwich and coffee at the FFFFF café is a must. It is one of the most delicious roasted sandwiches (we call them jaffles) I have eaten in China. In the evening you can visit one of many wine houses, clubs or bars in Luping or Tunxi Old street, or just walk around and enjoy the scenery. We don't regret visiting in winter. It was chilly outside but we experienced windless days and nights making it a pleasant experience walking around.
