A very nice experience! We had an ocean view room, super nice view. We managed to watch the drone show from Disneyland from our room. Also equipped with a very special bath tub, my kids loved it!

The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the ferry terminal, offering a serene and peaceful atmosphere. The front desk lady was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. However, there were a few drawbacks. The WiFi was unreliable, almost non-functional during my stay. Additionally, there were hairs in the bathroom, and to my dismay, I encountered a small cockroach in the morning. Considering the room's price point, these cleanliness issues were disappointing, especially when compared to other hotels I have stayed at on the island. Furthermore, while many other establishments on the island include breakfast in the room rate, here it was available for an additional charge.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel on Cheung Chau Island, and it was a delightful experience. The hotel was conveniently located near the ferry pier, making it easy to explore the island. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a smooth check-in process. My room was cozy and clean, with a lovely view of the sea. The hotel's proximity to local eateries and attractions made it easy to sample delicious seafood and enjoy the island's laid-back atmosphere. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable stay, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.

This historic building of former Tai O police station is more than 100 years old and is now revitalised as a heritage hotel for the locals and foreign visitors. The building itself is well reserved. You can get to know the history and architecture of the building by joining the free guided tour offered by the hotel. We stayed for one night and were delighted by the design of the room. The stay was very comfortable and we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. The dining experience at Tai O Lookout restaurant was superb. I enjoyed my stay very much and highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visit Tai O!!

Note that if you want to check in in person, the reception is located at a completely different address -- walk straight ahead after getting off the ferry and it's a shop on the right that also handles bookings for several other bnb places. Otherwise, if you show up at the hotel itself, check-in is by WhatsApp only, which is a bit annoying. Also note that there's no lift, and the hotel is situated on a slope, so try to avoid bringing a lot of baggage. While the opening hours of the restaurant / lounge area on the top floor are supposed to be until midnight, it is unstaffed and the air conditioning is turned off after breakfast hours, so I wasn't able to use the space despite it being a nice area to do some work or read.

This is the second time we stayed in this hotel. Still love it. The location is prime, right at the beach, although it takes about 30 mins of walk from the pier. The place is clean, bright and very quiet at night. The staff is super helpful. We arrived late at night but they came to help with the check-in once we contact them. Will definitely stay again.

WWarheadThe host was very nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of info about the local attractions. The room was extremely clean though, but the water flow was a bit slow due to low water pressure. We don’t think this is an issue though, because it didn’t affect our showers but just think that it’s something we need to mention about. In terms of location, I would consider it as inconvenient, because there’s a 10mins walk to the main road and cars can’t drive through because there’s no road/ paths nearby the house. For drivers x you do need to park your car outside where about 10mins walk away. In terms of cleanliness and quietness, this place is an extremely clean, and the host actually asked us to leave our shoes outside the room. Also, I haven’t found any dust or dirt in this house. In terms of view, we were not arranged to a room with any views, which is kinda disappointed. As far as I know there were other rooms occupied at the same time, and they were on the second floor and third floor. Unfortunately, they are the rooms that have views. In terms of facilities, we actually didn’t manage time to cook or BBQ at this place. Guests can actually use the kitchen and BBQ at the backyard.

JJielingvery satisfied! In my heart, this is Ngong Ping’s blessed place! At the same time, I also enjoyed chatting with the hostel administrator and felt that I was treated sincerely! Thanks again! Everyone is welcome to experience staying at the youth hostel. You can also camp at the youth hostel, and the basic settings are available. It will definitely make you more comfortable than the nearby Ngong Ping campsite.

GGuest UserThis place is like a Airbnb apartment with 3 rooms. We got the sea view one. Nice view, breezy, can hear waves lapping up the shores. Nice little balcony. 10min walk from Tai O bus terminal so it is peaceful, unlike the ”town” near the bus terminal. Can walk a further 10min to see the Tai O Heritage Hotel. The apartment has a rooftop garden where u can hang your laundry or just chill there. Only blemish is, there's a cockroach running around in our room. I also got bitten by mosquito at night. Innkeeper's service is very good, responsive. Recommend to stay 1 night at Tai O to experience the charm of this village.

GGuest UserI'm just saying, ”I'm not going to be able to do this.” This time, the flight became morning due to the sudden schedule change of the airline, so I couldn't stay I managed to cancel free through trip com, but it was not refundable as prescribed It can't be helped because it is a non-refundable reservation including such a risk, but ... I'm grateful if you can make it flexible ... I went to the island early because I paid for it. (I was grateful for the convenience of early check-in) to 23 I stayed for a walk on the island until around 23. I'll tell you first, this is not a hotel. You can't ask for facilities and services at a private night rather than a private lodging called a leisure shop. I feel a little expensive in terms of cospa, but I think it's a great place to understand it and touch the locals of the island. It's a 1 room in an apartment along Dongwan Beach, just off the island port. There is no front desk, and there is a stall next to McDonald's in front of the dock (along with other free shops) and there is a bargaining and reception. Auntie will kindly reception and give you a map to the key and the room. The room is in the alley of the apartment group in front of the beach, about 5 minutes walk from the receptionist, but it's a bit hard to find In an apartment that is also an islander's residence, there is a staircase No and an alphabet at the entrance of each staircase, and this combination corresponds to the ”room number”. By the way, my room was 11 DA, so I went into the stairs of 11 D and tried to enter the room of ”11 D” (other's house?). There was ”11 DA” In addition, there seems to be a room in a building that does not face the sea when choosing a room, so please examine it with a photo etc. (this room was ”sea view”) Room is small, only bed and small wall desk and toilet, but there is a small veranda, just below is the beach with ocean view and wave sound is amazing There is no air conditioning, but when you open the window and open the door of the room, the sea breeze passes (however, the room was rounded and talked to the residents on the upper floor) The shower is a type with a shower in the toilet of a Chinese cheap hotel, but you can see consideration (?), such as the toilet paper folder is completely covered or the paper is placed on the refrigerator. There is no towels and amenities, with an empty refrigerator and a dryer and a folding round table, the bed is king size and spacious As an aside, the beesan was 1 and it was convenient for walking around the island. There are many shops near the shipyard, even massage, very convenient I think it's an interesting facility if you understand and use the speciality of the facility.

TTy TravelerThis hotel was the cheapest private room I could find in Cheung Chao, so I tried not to expect too much before I walked inside. Fortunately, it was pretty good. The bed was clean and spacious, the TV worked fine and the water turned hot. Also, there was toilet paper, a fridge and even a cup of toothbrushes. The only negative is the damp feeling inside, which is common in hotels near the beach. Overall, I enjoyed my stay (only 30 seconds from the beach) and recommend this hotel for any short holiday.

GGuest UserIt can only be said that it is an upgraded version of the holiday home, with hotel equipment, but the space is almost the same as that of a holiday home. After checking in, I was trapped in the bathroom, and I asked Master to help unlock the door. The air conditioner was ok, and the TV could only watch some Hong Kong TV. Room for improvement.
