My sister and I had a pleasant stay here, this place provided amenities such as toothbrush, body soap, shampoo, laundry detergent, microwave etc.
Besides, the room is very spacious, the bathroom is perfect with bathtub and shower, divided with dry and wet area. Cleanliness is tip top! Will definitely come here again.
The only thing is that the check in timing is too late as it is 4pm.
Located near Osaka's iconic Tsutenkaku Tower, the location is excellent, with convenient transportation and complete living facilities.

You can get to JR Station and Midosuji Line in a few minutes, and there is also Nankai Electric Railway a little further away, which is very convenient. The self-service check-in at the B&B is very simple. I checked in online a few days ago and received an email with the check-in password on the same day. I am traveling with my elders. I will definitely be satisfied with this place. I will stay here next time when I come to Osaka. The only drawback is that the quilt cover is stained. Fortunately, I brought disposable sheets and quilt cover.

A family of five, four adults (over 12 years old) and one child, lived very satisfied! The house is a one-family building and we use it exclusively. The first floor is the living room, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and a bedroom with a large bed. The second floor has two Japanese-style bedrooms, and there is no toilet on the second floor. The kitchen and bathroom are fully equipped, and tableware is complete. You can cook vegetables and fry meat. There is also an electric rice cooker and microwave oven, and a gas stove with a small oven. The gas stove knob will not ignite until it is turned to the bottom (I turned it halfway and it didn’t ignite, so I thought it was out of power and went to buy a battery to change it:). Convenient transportation, a few hundred meters walk to Tsuruhashi Station. Convenient life, two large supermarkets nearby, Lawson is closer, and it is also close to the seafood market street. We bought Wagyu beef and fried it ourselves, and also bought sashimi. It is very suitable for families with children to cook and eat. There are also many choices for eating out. I didn’t see the landlord in the whole city. If there is something, it is no problem to contact the landlord by phone and communicate in English. The unlocking code is 6 digits, with an * before and after, and the four digits in the middle. We misunderstood the password in the landlord’s email and didn’t press the *, which took a long time.

The location is very good and the living functions are convenient, but it is close to the main road, so the traffic noise is a bit noisy at night. Use the tablet self-service check-in in the lobby. The room has a pure combination lock. The layout is just like other Japanese apartments I have lived in in the past. It is almost impeccable. If I really want to be picky, the floor in the living room is a little sticky. The only fly in the ointment. There is a high chance that I will choose to stay here again next time I come to Osaka!

Looking for a family room that is not too small, good rating, not too expensive, and then come here, I will tell you whether it is as advertised or not.
First of all, I understand that the accommodation is not far from the crowded area or the train station, but it is not as expected. Whether coming from Dotonbori, Glico sign or Kuromon Market, walking to the accommodation is more than a kilometer, taking the train is one station, the train fare is 200 yen, and walking another 600-800 meters. Especially when checking in and out, carrying heavy bags, it is very difficult. It is almost deadly to walk to the main road and turn to the train station.
Let's come to the room. The room is as advertised. The room size is not small at all. When you enter, there is a dining table, 2 chairs, 1 long chair, a sink, glasses, a hot water kettle. Even better, there is a vacuum cleaner, a washing machine with detergent, and an iron and ironing board. It is excellent (I like that there is an iron. I don't have to wear wrinkled clothes anymore 😁).
The bathroom is separated from the shower room. Even though the shower room is small, I like it. The water pressure is super high and there is a chair to sit on. The washbasin has a good shelf, a hair dryer, a toothbrush, that's all, nothing else.
The bed has a Queen Size and a single bed. The mattress is very soft, too soft, it's too soft. I personally don't like it because it's so soft that it sinks. I wake up often (usually I find it too hard. This is the first time I've found it too soft 😅). The air conditioner is the best. It's so cold that it makes you feel cold. The blanket is good but the pillow is bad. It's very small and flat. There are only 3 pieces. The room probably isn't soundproof. If you hear someone in the next room or on the floor above you, you should be able to hear it (luckily, there were almost no guests on the day we stayed in the building). The building has 10 floors and only 2 rooms on each floor.
Checking in is another thing that might be a bit difficult. It requires a lot of personal wit if you've never checked in by yourself. You have to check the details from the email they sent you. There will be a password to enter through the first door. Then you will see a tablet to register again. You have to enter another password and then register by taking a picture of your passport (everyone stays). Then you will get a password to unlock the small locker in front of you to get the room key again (you have to unlock it according to the room you will stay in). For example, if your room is 8A, you can only put the password in the 8A locker.) I have explained it in detail. Are you confused? 😅 (If you can't do it, add Line or other methods to ask or ask for help from the staff, which will be posted on the door.)
The advantage is that the building has an elevator and there is a locker in front of the building.
In conclusion, the accommodation here has both advantages and disadvantages as mentioned. Try to consider it. Personally, I stayed here for 3 nights. It was very difficult to walk to the accommodation. If you want to be comfortable and have money to spare, call a taxi. I once called one from Dotonbori at almost 10 pm to the accommodation for 1,000 yen.

Very satisfied, I spent a long time looking for the way on the first day, and later found that it was closer to Honmachi Station. Enter the door in the building and enter the password at the door to get the key (not the mailbox downstairs). The house is very clean, just right for the two of us, and it is very quiet. You can also wash clothes and heat breakfast for the children. I will stay here next time

When checking in/out, if you take the Rapid from the airport, it's a 15-minute walk from Ninkai Namba Station, so the location is not bad for the price. And it's only a 5-minute walk to Namba Station, so it's a less crowded subway station, which is nice. And the room was clean and nice. I recommend it. It's especially suitable for people like me who have a short schedule.

GGuest UserLocated in a quiet neighborhood, this homestay was really comfortable to live in! It is around a 7-10min from Tamade station or Kishinosato-tamade Nankai line station! Right next to the nankai line station is a neighbourhood food street! great for breakfast and offers freshly made sushi, with a 24hr supermarket that sells cheap instant meals, or even meat if you want to cook in the homestay (which u can!). i booked this for my family with around 7 people and we stayed comfortably, everything was brand new since we were the first customer after their renovation :) super lucky to be able to get such a homestay at this price! I really liked the japanese style room upstairs since its lined with tatami mats, and although the stairs are pretty steep, theres still a nice bedroom downstairs w 2 beds that my grandma could use easily :D 2nd floor bedroom had a lot more space to put our luggages too, and the eating area was just enough for about 4 people. host was nice and responsive to enquiries, and provided 2 charging adapters, as well as board games! was generally a very nice and affordable stay :)

GGuest UserThe house is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped with all sorts of appliances. In reality it looks excatly the same as in the photos. Very nice japanese style tatami room. The location is very convinient just less a few minutes by foot from JR and metro stations. The only recommendation for travellers is to have socket adapters as all sockets are of japanese standard.
We can definitely recommend this property for large families and groups to stay in Osaka.

DDavidA boutique Japanese 'tavern' that has plenty of characteristics and great attention to detail to ensure guests have the best experience and make you feel like home. The check in process was smooth and the property is very clean. Highlights include extremely comfortable beds, provisions of amenities (including multi adapters). Our group consisted of 7 adults and it was very spacious for us. Overall an enjoyable stay which I would highly recommend to others.

GGuest UserIt is a rare ”private room type & TV) in the guest house. (It's small.) The owner was kind and friendly, and he also taught me about the color 々 nearby shops. (Since it is not a hotel, it is not suitable for those who want ”perfect”.) There is also a washing machine, so I think it is convenient for ”people who do laundry at a travel destination” like me. Of course, there is also Wi-Fi. By the way, the shower room is ”2”. (For measures such as cancellation without permission, ”only one card payment option”. Please understand that point and should be used ...) Check-in is ”until 10 pm”. It's an essential item in the guest house.
TThea.fromaotearoanzI had a lovely stay at Jakotel. I booked for 5 nights and it was one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had. It is not a social hostel but there is a small hangout area on the 2nd floor. The hostel is strategically located in a quiet area of Namba - super close to the subway, kuromon market, and the bustling area of dotonbori. It is also walking distance to many tourist attractions, and there is a laundromat closeby. I'd definitely stay again in the future.

GGuest UserThe location is OK, one stop away from Shinsaibashi, and the bus is very convenient. The room is very clean, with an induction cooker and pot, a refrigerator, and a microwave, so you can cook something. The shower and toilet are separate, and the toilet is in a separate cabin. It has a small balcony, and the glass door of this balcony is not soundproof. The sound of various cars outside is a bit noisy at night, racing cars, ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars are humming one by one... I am a light sleeper, and the noise makes me sleep poorly.
Ctrip's customer service is very good, and they reply to any questions in a timely manner, which makes me feel very at ease. At first, I couldn't open the door by pressing the password, and the customer service was very patient to help communicate. Later, I suddenly found the building number on the wall at the lower left corner of the building entrance, and then I realized that I had gone to the wrong place.

GGuest UserLovely Japanese style apartment. We are a family of five and we felt we had more than enough room for our three nights. We were in Osaka primarily for Universal Studio so this accommodation was very convenient. The apartment sits in a quiet area, a bit far from the city center - there is a metro station nearby. The Japanese style tub, full kitchen, Nintendo switch, POLA products and projector makes the experience even better. Fully enjoyed the experience and would definitely recommend this place to large groups/families.
AAnonymous UserWe didnt get the right code to access to the unit, fortunately we met some other tenants in front of the elevator and told us that he got email on the day he checked in which we never received any.
The only thing we received days before was the booking confirmation email with a 4digit code which we thought it was the access code. After being stranded for hours and we tried to contact trip.com, finally we received the email with complete instructions.
I brought kids and old folks and it was raining on that day, there were noone to help and no seats for waiting.
And it was the day after long flights we took from overseas. Well we wont come back or recommend anyone to this hotel though it has a good location and the unit is considered clean and complete amenities.

JJ4yT4yStaff impressions: Matter of fact, good command of english, helpful. Room amenities: we stayed in a Japanese style room. It felt *very* recently updated. Tatami was fresh, wood looked new, en suite bathroom was very modern. Had a TV, mini-fridge, safe, microwave, induction cooktop (but no pans). Beds were futons, clean, new, pretty typical in terms of comfort. Ductless heater/AC. Room oddities, if you're not from Japan or haven't traveled in Japan before: 1) The lights/AC/power will not turn on until you drop your key in a slot on the wall by the door. 2) There is a panel on the wall that has a number in Celsius. This is the temperature control for the how tater heater for your bathroom. If you don't turn this on before your shower you won't get hot water! :) 3) The overhead light *can* be turned off at night. One of the remote controls in the room is the controller for the overhead light. Don't take your key out to turn off the light, it'll kill your AC/heat. 4) The level of service you typically receive in a Japanese hotel room like all linens replaced every day, bathroom stuff (toothbrush, toothpaste, soaps, shoes, etc.) being replaced, etc. will not happen. Didn't bother me as I don't care for that but it might be off putting if you're used to it but the price is great. 5) Ductless AC/heater is controlled with a remote control. Location: About 900m to the closest train station which can be a haul with your bags. Super close to Nippombashi which was a big selling point for us. Kinda on a side street so quiet and empty at night.

GGuest UserI stayed in the hotel for a night and was satisfied with what it has to offer. The hotel is affordable and Dotonburi is walking distance away. The hotel room was clean, water dispenser and amenities are provided at the reception level. The only downside was the size of the room which leaves little space for walking if you open up you luggage on the floor. Other than that, if you are on a budget, isn’t fussy about space and wants to stay somewhere clean and in a good location, I would recommend this hotel.
