I booked a standard room. When I checked in (around 2 p.m.), the store owner said that the room had not yet checked out and there was a child. They re-arranged a room for me, but the arranged room was on the fourth floor (stairs), and the room was on the top floor. , it is a loft conversion, and nearly half of the room has to be bent over. It's really not suitable for elderly families.

This is a gem of a place- one of our favorites on a 3 week trip to Hoi An. The staff was so helpful and welcoming The breakfast cook fed us enough for 2 breakfasts and it was all included in the room price. The inn is extremely clean and spacious. There are bicycles available to ride into Old Town or further out into the countryside. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool, but it looked very clean. Great place that I would look forward to staying at again

Perfect stay at Pham Gia. The staff are super friendly - allowed us to check in early upon arrival and late the day we were leaving, and also arranged a scooter for us. Rooms are clean and quiet, and the location is excellent - about a 10 minute walk from the Old Town. Lovely little pool. Didn’t try the breakfast but it was included, all for a great price. Would definitely recommend

This is such a great place to stay in lovely Hoi An. The manager is very helpful and all the staff are lovely especially the lady that served breakfast. Very good room with comfortable bed and great shower. Chilled out feeling which fits perfectly in Vietnam’s best town

We spent two nights here. Vy was very helpful, giving us her contact details on WhatsApp and helping us to arrange a taxi to the train station at the end of our trip. The breakfast was really good and we made use of the bicycle rental for exploring the town and getting to An Bang beach. We also had our laundry done here. We would recommend to anyone visiting Hoi An as it is a short walk from the Old Town.

Budget hotel located just north of the old town (10 minutes walk to the heart of the old town) in a quiet residential area. Main points • Rooms are spacious and very comfortable, ours had a nice balcony. • Property is well kept and clean. • Simple breakfast provided with complimentary fruit. • Small but usable pool with sun-loungers. • The surrounding area felt very safe. • Receptionist spoke English, staff very professional and friendly. • Lots of options for eating and drinking nearby. For those traveling on a budget or in our case a long period of time, this hotel represents excellent value for what it offers, which is clean affordable accommodation in an excellent location.

This is a gorgeous little hotel in Hoi an. The staff can't do enough for you and you are treated like family. There's a lovely pool inside the hotel although open to the sky. It is surrounded by trellises of pretty pink blossoms. We had many a fun time with the staff's children who had a couple of days off school and discovered you didn't need to understand each other to have fun. The beautiful lady who ran the kitchen would have breakfast prepared with a smile and a hug. After that I could use the kitchen as much as I wanted. The two butlers who were day time and night time always greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello. Vy, the receptionist, had excellent English and was so helpful in arranging anything we needed. From tailors to restaurants serving traditional Hoi An food. She even had a friend Loi who was a taxi driver and ensured we were taken wherever we needed to go and never took advantage of us.

We are travelling for 10 months and we both agreed Pham Gia was the best place we've stayed so far... At check-in you're greeted by Vee (hope I've spelt that right!), who is super friendly, bubbly and helpful, offering all her knowledge on the local area. Then you get shown to your room - our one was absolutely huge with outdoor access straight to the patio, and SO CLEAN. The rooms also have an enclosed shower which we've come to think of as a luxury in Asia lol! The bed is also super comfy, and air con great. Breakfast is included here with a few a la carte options (western and Asian), and all options are absolutely delicious. In our experience, they included a few off menu extras such a watermelon and dragonfruit! Hoi An itself is perfect and around a quick 10 min walk away from Pham Gia - we actually preferred this as the town centre can be pretty hectic (especially in the evening), and also meant that we had access to a beautiful pool which we didn't really see in properties closer by to the town centre! Overall, an amazing stay at Pham Gia - we'd 100% return one day as we enjoyed our stay so much.

The hotel rooms were large and spacious, as we are a family of four, we booked two rooms, one for our kids and one for us, the kids room was amazing and fully equipped with a balcony with a great view, however our room was much smaller, though we were later upgraded to a superior room. The owner was extremely helpful and supplied us with as many passion fruits as we could need for a fraction of the price at home, she also went to the market and supplied our requests. The only reason this hotel is four stars is because of the subpar breakfast, the choices were limited down to about four breakfast options (we have faddy kids). Overall this hotel was great and the staff were actively friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend it!

We booked this homestay on the strength of the pictures and the facilities offered on the booking website and, after one night, we were so disappointed that we had to complain. If we had not paid in full we would have changed homestays. The Agoda website is simply a total misrepresentation of the facilities on-site and clearly covers the period pre-COVID. The downstairs area was nothing like the pictures and the breakfast was tasteless and extremely limited in choice and needed to be ordered the night before. No buffet breakfast was available as described on the website, with only limited Vietnamese food available and not very tasty at that. The restaurant shown on the website was not there and there was no advertised bar. The two staff did their best at breakfast, but service was like a comedy of errors, not helped by the language barrier. As I write this, two visits had already been made this morning to the local supermarket to get first more butter/jam and then fruit. Having spoken to the owner’s representative on site we learnt that the homestay had been closed during Covid and reopened six months ago under new management. They remain on limited staff, which possibly explains why the room was not clean when we arrived and, after first clean the following day, the place was still not clean. Yesterday the room was not cleaned until after 4.30pm (we then went out) and when we returned at night, was not completed (bed linen missing). The common areas, particularly the stairs and window ledges, looked like they had not been cleaned for some time. How management expect one cleaner to do all of the cleaning of rooms and common area and then washing of bedding afterwards is beyond me. It is no wonder that cleaning is not thorough and the girl works late into the night. Her support for the whole building services is 3 other staff (reception, busboy/night porter & morning breakfast cook). Totally inadequate. Clearly the booking agent must take their share of responsibility for these unsatisfactory areas, in that they are offering a product that is definitely not available and absolutely not representative of what is being advertised. They of course will blame the owners, but that doesn’t help potential customers! On leaving the resort we were given a 30% discount and told that that the owners had already changed the website following my earlier comments. When we checked later on Agoda, who we booked with, a few words had been removed, including the reference to a bar, but the old misleading pictures remained, as did reference to a restaurant providing food and the buffet breakfast, facilities not available. On the positive side, the location is good, the staff were friendly and very helpful, especially Vy and the rooms were a good size and ours had a comfy bed in a quiet bedroom. The absent owners should take more responsibility for providing the services offered on their booking site and supporting their on-site staff, of whom th
