Everything has been impeccable at the hotel - it's only a 10-minute walk to major spots such as Central Post Office and 20-minute to the War Remnant Museum; Our room is really stylish and clean, the bed is really comfortable, breakfast buffet is a mix of international dishes, plenty of good F&B outlets and convenience stores nearby, and the service is exceptionally good. The staff speak fluent English, and has been extremely polite and helpful, especially one named NAM.
It's a bit difficult to manage your trip in a foreign country where the majority does not communicate in English. However, NAM assisted us with all the bookings and arrangements for the local tours, made sure we got to the destination and back to the hotel safely. Without his help we would have been truly lost and stuck, we are truly grateful for him and the other staff's assistance and guidance during our stay there.
The only flaw I can pick is that the jaccuzi at the roof contained much chlorine that it smelled a bit like bleach, I personally have sensitive skin so it was an issue for me. Otherwise the whole setting at the roof is also perfect for relaxing after a long day touring and walking around the city.
For the price we paid, it's totally worth it and exceeded beyond our expectations.

We stayed 3 nights in Roseland Centa hotel. Beautiful and comfortable rooms, extensive breakfast buffet, good location. The greatest brightness of this hotel is the reception staff. They shall do everything in their power to make the stay as pleasant as possible. For example, Long advised us to go to look at the firework from the roof of Roseland Sweet Hotel and reserved a VIP table, we asked 2 additional heads and were brought in an eye-spot, ... Special thanks to Long, Niran and Tai.

After two nights in the Roseland Corp Hotel I just don’t know where to start describing this horrible experience as everything - the service, the rooms, the prices - was just so, so bad. So I just start at the beginning: We arrived on a Thursday. Arranging a pick-up from the airport was surprisingly complicated, it took several mails with the service manager for no reason but in the end there was a quite unfriendly driver waiting for us at the gate. They charged us 750.000 Dong which is way above the common taxi-rate (150.000 Dong). When we arrived at the hotel they charged my credit card for the room - twice. As the woman at the front desk didn’t understand English that well, it was quite complicated to convince her of her mistake and get the money back. The Roseland Corp hotel has an impressive entrance area. It’s nice, really. But unfortunately this doesn’t translate to the rooms. They are terrible, probably furnished in the 80s and not renewed since. They have whirlpool bathtubs made of plastic, lots of wood in the room, curtains that haven’t been washed for ages, and you can hear everything that is going on outside of your room. The first room we got smelled like cold cigarette smoke. I complained and they upgraded us to a bigger room (after we looked at a series of rooms, one of them still in use by a paying guest). But even the upgraded room was by far worse then everything we have seen in Vietnam. I wanted to cancel the whole reservation but they wouldn’t let us go. Instead they promised us the best room of the hotel the next day and we stayed. The first night was terrible. The bed had a very, very old and thus noisy spring mattress. The slightest movement made a noise. The walls and curtains had stains all over it. There’s no constant hot water, I had a cold shower in the morning. Shower and toilet happened to make weird unexpected noises. The best room in the hotel was basically the same as before but with a better view and a less noisy mattress. At this point I was ready to drink on that but unfortunately all the mini bar contained was two bottles of water. Breakfast was…well, let’s not talk about it. All of this would have been okay somehow if this hotel wasn’t so pricey. It’s like paying for a filet mignon and getting McDonalds Cheesburger. When we checked out the woman at the front desk (the same who messed up the payment) kindly asked us to sit and wait in the entrance area so she can check if everything is okay. We waited five, ten, fifteen minutes and nothing happened. When we asked her if everything was okay, she was surprised to see that we are still there. Yes, everything okay, she said. I can’t say the same. P.S.: Neil, the doorman, was the only exception to this experience. You are great, man! Please find a new employer.

Roseland Sweet Hotel is a value for money hotel; and there would be many other similar hotels easily found online. But what made Roseland stand out was one of their staff Kiet Anh, who is a bellboy, front desk, concierge all rolled into one. The week I was there, he was working everyday and all hours, I practically see him all the time whenever i'm at the lobby, whether I am going out or coming back. His bright, cheerful and friendly demeanour plus his very personal touch is on par with the service found only at the 5 or 6 star hotels. He was what made the difference for me staying at Roseland; which otherwise would be a good but pretty average hotel. Roseland is indeed very fortunate to have employed a staff like him; and given time and the right grooming would make an excellent management personnel in the hospitality industry. My choice of hotel will still be Roseland for my next coming trip, but only if Kiet is there. Thank you Kiet, for making my stay so pleasant and memorable; and thanks for helping me send my cracked handphone for repair; you really saved my life!! See you soon!

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was a definite improvement on the first stay. We were upgraded to an Executive room which was much nice than the first. The room was on the 7th floor, it was light and bright and a lot more room. The pool had been cleaned but was still not totally mould free. Breakfast is nice if you get in early otherwise there is nothing left. They don’t seem to restock it. There is a great variety of choice from western omelette to Vietnamese soup to rice porridge. They do cater well. There are still small things to improve on but a great step up. The receptionist was very helpful and we were able to extend our stay till the evening as we had a late flight home. Right near the market if that’s your thing but also close to sights and restaurants.

The receptionists pay attention to the guests really well and they try to remember the faces of the guests who are staying, which is really great for service industry. Always ready to assist the customers with their luggage and always ready to open the door for customers. They speak English perfectly fine. And the housekeeping lady was so cute and kind even though she doesn’t know any English, she always asks me if she can enter my room to clean (we just communicate with that “do not disturb” card lol). Queen room is actually spacious. I enjoyed it a lot. Breakfast was really impressive for me. They serve different dishes everyday from local dishes to English breakfast. Their noodles are really really good. I made the right choice adding breakfast to my booking.
The only thing I want them to improve is to educate the housekeepers to knock before they try to open the door for cleaning. Besides that, everything was perfect.
I hope you all keep this attitude and be on top in service industry. I think I’m gonna stay here again next time.

We were greeted upon arrival by the staff who were lovely and provided us with welcome drinks. The check in process was smooth however our room was not ready so we were unable to check in. They kept our luggage for us and we went and sat by the pool. Don't be fooled by the pictures of the pool it is actually extremely small with only 6 sunbeds around the actual pool area. Half of the pool is under the shade. There is another terrace upstairs with sunbeds but you are away from the pool and some parts shaded. We stayed in a family suite which was extremely spacious and clean. The breakfast had a good selection and catered to everyone there. The location is roughly around a 10 minute walk from Bui Vein Walking street which isn't too bad once you navigate the traffic. Due to the size of Ho Chi Minh it is extremely difficult to get your bearings especially if you are only staying a few days. Overall I would stay in this hotel again.

We arrived super early to check in due to an early flight. We were allowed up by the pool to chill out and the lady met us and explained we was rushing the clean for us so we could get in early and let us store our bags. Whole thing was so smoothly run and the pool is cold! The first cold pool we’ve come across in Vietnam and it’s just the best! The apartment block it’s in is so quiet perfect to relax in. You have a washing machine in case you want to do any washing. Has a small kitchen so you can cook some basics and save yourself a bit of money. Can’t fault it!

The hotel is located in a building in a busy area. There are chain coffee shops and supermarkets downstairs, and there are many local restaurants next to it. It is very convenient for eating, traveling and shopping. The boss is very nice. When we arrived, he helped us to change money and solve various travel problems. The room facilities are also very complete. It is especially suitable for family or friends to stay on vacation. It is not far from the scenic spot. You can take a taxi across the bridge to get there. Next time I come, I will choose to stay here again.

FFan·huaThe hotel is in the landmark 81 building. I stayed there for a long time. The view from the roof is nice. Downstairs is the business center. You can withdraw Vietnamese Dong with your UnionPay card. The surrounding is very lively. The curtains are electric. Overall, it is not bad. I took some pictures of the scenery from the balcony.
GGURDEEPThe location is excellent, especially with Central Park nearby, which is great for walks – something I really enjoy. Plus, Landmark 81 is close, making shopping and dining very convenient.
The apartment has a wide, open view with lots of natural light, and it's equipped with everything you need.
Personally, I would recommend this plac
JJames1219Hotel is in a very good location, quick access to many popular places. The street itself is average with just a few coffee shops and small stores.
The amenities of the hotel are unique such as the hammocks, and open air type of room layout.
They also have a top floor that’s used for not only breakfast, but also a casual recreational or dining area that people can use throughout the day.
But the wear and tear of the hotel is starting to show. Floors have stains, walls need painting, elevator is messy and dirty.
Service is average, nothing spectacular. For the price, it needs to update some things or they will need to lower the price.
TthuRAruthieThe staff are so welcoming, kind & helpful! The location is near famous tourist spots, near a lot of food stalls/restaurants/spas/ATM and market. The service was excellent,I love it! I love the room & the toilet/bathroom is so lovely! The foods were good! I enjoyed having my tea time in the hotel :) I love the massage as well!
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I would love to come back in your hotel in the future ❤️🫰🏻
CCarlosRoom was small but VERY clean and modern. I was unable to enjoy the pool but though small had a nice view. Small but good selection of exercise equipment.
There is lots to see and do all within 15 min walk from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
GGuest UserI have stayed at this hotel numerous times and like it because of location and standard. The rooms may be a little dated (shower over the bath tub) but very comfortable On previous stays I have been roomed at the back of the hotel, however on the 2 recent stays have had rooms with view of the surrounds (thanks to Duty Manager Nguyen), and enjoyed both rooms. Staff at the front desk are very warm (even though a little slow), and porters are extremely helpful. The lobby lounge is comfortable for the after touring drink, or before venturing out at night. The only negative I found was that in the mall outside , entertainment went too late in the evening and did cause a little noise too late at night. I would certainly stay here again.
GGuest UserAu Lac Legend is located in District 3 but its near to the city center at District 1. It took us just under 10mins to stroll to Nguyen Hue Walking Street. We began to appreciate the fact that its within walking distance but not right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Saigon as its much more quiet here with just the occasional honking of the motorbikes on the street below. The hotel is well decorated in an ethnic charm with an Indochine style to it which we like, its well maintained and clean most times. The hotel manager, this tall gentleman Henry was very helpful to give us lots of tips and info about Saigon City Tours. He is always smiling and very accommodating to all the guests and I think that sets a very good example for all his staff to follow. The front desk receptionist, I think her name is Fairy, was so friendly and helpful whenever we have questions to ask her. The hotel has a sky bar with a roof top pool which looks more like a large dipping jacuzzi as its very small for a pool, not meant for swimming but its ok as the hot weather just make you want to soak in there. The little cafe on the roof top is nice, they do serve afternoon tea with snacks, cakes and pastries daily from 3-5pm. By the way, the breakfast area is small but still a good size for the capacity of this hotel. It offers a good spread if you were to stay for 2-3 nights but nothing to complain about as most room bookings comes with breakfast included and that's already value for money for the price you are paying. We stayed on the 10th floor at the Suite Room which comes with a Queen and a Single bed. Good size room with an area for a sofa and coffee table. We love the bathroom which is spacious with separate areas for the standing bath and the bath tub. Now, the only bad thing we can find for this hotel is the shower water, its inconsistent in the hot water, it takes a long time for water to be heated up and when you are showering, it may turn cold anytime. So may I suggest for the management to look into this? A few more staff which I would like to compliment is that fizzy hair supervisor at the breakfast area, he makes an effort to make sure the guests are comfortable so that is good. All the other breakfast staff are also very diligent and hardworking. One suggestion to make is, for the breakfast staff to indicate that a table is taken while the guests go pick up their food at the buffet area. I saw quite a few confusion when guests didn't realize that certain tables had been taken and they just sat down which resulted with the actual table guests coming back with their food to their table that has been occupied by other guests. I also wished to special mention the hotel security staff Ray who is always very helpful and service with a smile all the time. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.
AAnonymous UserHotel for one night. Terrible organization of breakfast. People were offered to have breakfast in the common corridor or at the bar. If there was free spare in the restaurant at breakfast, some of the taller and area here not used. Breakfast below average. Dirty cutlery. As a hotel for one night, no more.
GGuest UserLocation was great and rather centralized. It's right at the corner of the happening night life street. Music were loud but manageable in the room.
Staffs were friendly and helpful. There's a massage place at the entrance of the hotel which is very convenient if you need one.
Just 1 downside is that the sink has some pipe issues whereby it will leak but issue wasn't that big to complain about.
Overall would recommend the place to stay.
