長期利用したが、コスパがとても良かった。 周辺：彦根駅前でアクセスが良いにも関わらず、繁華街の駅口の反対口である東口で車通りも少ないので静かで快適。最寄りのコンビニが駅反対口の為、若干距離を感じる方もいるかも…下の階に居酒屋とイタリアン、ホテル出てすぐ近くに中華と和洋中レストランがある。駅反対口まで行けばアルプラザや飲み屋さん定食屋さんが多数。ホテルのある東口側では、ホテルから徒歩10分くらいでドラッグストア、イオンタウンやローソン、コメダ、スシロー、ブロンコビリー、ラーメン屋さんなどがある。 部屋：13m²で140cmのベッドがメインをとっている。白を基調とした壁紙、大きい窓があり、圧迫感を感じない。虫が多数入ってくる為に窓は締め切りとなっている。加湿空気清浄機が各部屋に置いてあり、水を入れて自動モードにして置くと乾燥しなくて良い。エアコン、テレビ、冷蔵庫、机、椅子あり。コンセントが机に2つ、ベッド横に２つ。机はパソコンを置いて作業するのに十分な大きさで、照明も明るくできて作業しやすい。 ベッドはブックライトがあり、マットレスも宣伝しているだけあって寝心地良い。枕はフロントでもう1個借りられる。 シャワーは水を出す際に、洗面台と切り替えするタイプ。暖水と冷水の2つ蛇口を自分で調整しなければいけない。 朝食：6:30から平日は9時まで、土日は9:30まで2階のラウンジで食べられる。主食はクロワッサン、ワッフル、ミルクパンなど数種類のパンとトースターの他、2種類のコーンフレーク系、ピラフなどの日替わり味付きご飯がある。メインに日代わりのおかずと味付きゆで*、スクランブルエッグ、ソーセージがある。日替わりのおかずはチキン＆アボカドやジンジャーチキンなどで、日によっては2種類おいている時もあった。飲み物は日替わりのスープとご当地みそ汁、スムージーの他にコーヒー、オレンジジュースなど。テイクアウトボックスもあり、部屋で食べることもできる。 滞在最後にラウンジスペースをリフォームしており、朝食以外でも仕事やゆっくり過ごせる場所になりそうな配置で机や椅子を置いていた。機会があればまたこのホテルを使わしてもらうと思う。

Location is excellent. Very easy to find and very close to the station. It is a nice hotel with nice friendly staff. Water is provided and service is great. The only shortcoming is the room and bed is too small even though we have made it clear during booking the number of persons staying. This is the only thing that could make our stay more comfortable. There are lots of restaurants around. It is also not far from the attractions.

After a crowded Kyoto, I love the peaceful and tranquil environment of this beautiful onsen hotel-ryokan and charming castle town. Everything about the hotel speaks of relaxation and well-being. It's only a 7-8min walk away from Hikone Train Station but there is a hotel shuttle that leaves at 9, 10 and 11 am if you need a drop off. Pick up could probably be arranged too. The hotel offers a pretty outdoor terrace with Castle view, an on-site spa with massage, a library lounge with free drinks till 10pm, a foot reflex corner and a compact onsen with a silk bath (all with Castle view) and hot stone benches. I had the whole onsen to myself in the evening, so it was very relaxing. The staff are kind and lovely too, making an effort to explain all the services and amenities in English. The buffet breakfast was also one of the better ones I've seen in my trips to Japan. If you're visiting the Castle, the entrance road is right outside the hotel. The main castle road is about 5-10 min away but you will pass by a famous Japanese confectionery, Taneya and Club Harie. Their souvenirs are one that even the Japanese cherish. Hikone is good for a day trip from Kyoto. But if you prefer to stay for a night, then this hotel is a reasonable option. I drove. Fantastic staff. Fantastic room. Fantastic views. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. Private onsen in the room. The choice of food at breakfast was amazing. Check in is 3pm and they are strict on that. Arrived at 10am, and left our suitcases. In departure they processed the checkout in an instant.
