The staff were very kind and I felt safe staying there.
The food, both breakfast and room service, was very delicious and seemed to be of high quality.
The main purpose of our stay in Heraklion was to visit the Archaeological Museum and Knossos Palace, and this hotel was located a 5-minute walk from the museum, making it easy to go there every day.

Very bad check-in, the room is small, the food is unpalatable
The booked suite, whether it is a suite or not, at least the area is not 32~36 square meters as shown on the booking page.
There is no TV in the bed.
The sofa is old and has a dirty feeling.
Note The flowers are bought by yourself, so you can improve your mood. The hotel prevents you from refunding and changing hotels. In short, this hotel will not live anymore. In terms of five stars, it has a false name. It is more expensive than the NJV plaza hotel in Syntagma Square in Athens. The 28 square meters room looks much more spacious than the 32 square meters.
The food in the hotel restaurant is very average, the breakfast is too poor, the restaurant on the 5th floor is also unpalatable, the creamy pasta is so unpalatable, and it is salty
I booked a car rental for 300 euros through the front desk. I arranged a super broken car and asked to pay in advance. I was speechless when I saw the car.
In short, this hotel is not worth staying at.
Nor is it the level of a five-star hotel.

Very good location, close to the port, long distance and short-distance bus station. Walk for a few minutes. It is also close to the busiest square, full of restaurants and cafes. No need to choose a sea view room, the window is small, a little sea view. The front desk service is very good, the commercial atmosphere of Crete is not strong, people are very friendly!

The hotel is located in the center of the old town, very close to Piazza Venezia and the church. It is convenient for eating, shopping and going to the beach. It takes about 15 minutes to take a taxi from Heraklion Airport, and the taxi price is 15 euros. If you rent a car, you can park in the central parking. The night is 7 euros, and there is a 24-hour valet parking guy; the hotel is relatively new, and the rooms are relatively large in Europe. The bathroom is designed with three separate parts. It is best to bring your own slippers and toiletries. There is no toothpaste or toothbrush, and the towels are poor and Only one set was given to two people; there was a kettle; and the bar downstairs was noisy.

It is only one block away from the shopping and pedestrian street, only a 5-minute walk from the beach, and only 4 kilometers from the airport. The suite is great, with a balcony. The hotel is clean and tidy. The original check-in at 2 pm was very intimate and informed that you can check in at 10 am. If you still go to Crete, you will definitely choose this hotel. The only thing missing is that there is no gym.

The hotel is below average and obviously sells because of its central location in Heraklion. This is its only advantage. Otherwise : A lot of noise from early morning (big banging, etc.) - to the point where you can't rest. Small and uncomfortable rooms. (They don't even have hangers in the bathroom for towels!) The rooms show strong signs of abandonment. They need renovation. Very modest breakfast, with only the very basics. Everything served is without taste! Only low quality filter coffee is served - without taste. If one wants to get a decent coffee, they must order it from the cafe bar at the entrance and is charged. There is a scale for weighting luggage at the reception. Requires a fee of 1 Euro !!! The staff, although very polite, are not happy or cheerful with clients.

There is a double bed and a single bed in the room. Although the space is not large, the furniture is complete: wardrobes, desks are available, the bathroom is not small, and there is a small window for ventilation. We lived in a corner room with a long balcony. Although the room faces the small street, the doors and windows are soundproofed and don't feel noisy at night. Hotel location is not bad, six or seven minutes walk from the Lion Fountain. The front desk is English, warm uncle reception, check-in and check-out procedures are simple and fast. The bus is at the entrance of the hotel. Whether it is the airport or the bus to Iraq Li翁, there is a direct bus stop at the door. Health is OK, there is a hot water bottle. Breakfast is richer than I thought. In short, the price is very good.

Outstanding
The absolute pergect studio! Pleiades is a hidden treasure in the centre of Heraklion! From the excellent amenitites to the the fluffy towels and the very accomodating woman that maintained the cleaning, I cannot say enough good things. The studio is exactly as shown in the pictures (if not better), spotless cleaning and with everything you may need inside. Every day I was given fresh coffee capsules but there is also available a variety of tea, the bed is very comfortable with a big smart TV. Even the design is contemporary and beautiful. The staff answered all my questions in a timely manner and they were very polite and accommodating but the cleaning lady is the best of the best, always discreet and with a smile. I will definitely will book again for my next stay
GGuest UserExcellent hotel. Professional and charming reception. Nice room very well equipped. Impeccably clean hotel. Very nice swimming pool, very rich and very pleasant breakfast buffet by the pool. Caring staff
PPhotoguyGreat hotel, the rooms were spotless, the cleaning staff were attentive and friendly, the front desk staff was cheerful and extremely helpful when I needed some meds on a Sunday. They searched for a pharmacy that was open, and then called to make sure.
Great place. And the breakfast is very comprehensive!
A pleasant hotel very centrally located to all the main attractions in Heraklion. The hotel seems to have been recently renovated and it is very clean and comfortable for a short stay. The staff a helpful and friendly. Probably not four star in the Australian sense but suits its purpose.
HHank_WilkesThis was a really nice place to stay in the midst of the city center. Everything we wanted to see and do in Herakion was an easy walk from here. We had a lovely room with a balcony whence we had a sideways view of the harbor. The breakfasts were very good, and the staff were helpful. We were waiting for delivery of a suitcase that the airline had lost. The desk clerk understood that we were expecting it, and he looked out for it, letting us know as soon as it arrived.
GGuest UserFor many years I have traveled 100 or more days a year. In SEP-OCT 2022, I traveled for a month in Greece staying at 12 hotels (and on an overnight Ferry). In this context and related to price, Heraklion Old Port Apartments was above average. PROS: Cost was very reasonable. The room with living room was clean, very spacious and with a well provided kitchen and fridge (supermarket food was extremely inexpensive in Crete). There were extra towels so no need for service. The young woman at the desk was very helpful and cordial. CONS: Close to the old port but about 700 meters to center of town and more to the National Museum or the main bus station (to Knossos or to the beaches). Still all can be reach by walking. The add say the room had great views which did not materialize. Heraklion has a lively main street around the fountain of the lions and a Great museum on the Minoan civilization which was spectacular. The museum in Heraklion was great but Knossos (reach by city bus) was very disappointing since I care for historical archaeology and not for the distorted recreation of the site by an over-imaginative British amateur. The beaches near Heraklion (which can be reach by inexpensive regular city buses) are adequate but not spectacular. In late September the beaches were not crowded at all, but still with warm water to swim. Heraklion was of interest in itself and where I rented the car to visit the rest of Crete (Xania with a picturesque Venetian port, spectacular Elefonsina Beach great for snorkeling, great ruins of Faestos, and many other atttractions). I spent 6 nights in Crete and could have enjoyed another week at least. Next trip I will stay longer in Crete. Parting remarks: Greece is wonderful, except for the touristic islands which were crowded even in October and I may skip them altogether next time. The Peloponesse resulted better than expected. Athens was safe anytime anywhere I moved, even after midnight. Travel light because not all hotels have elevators and in ancient towns you will climb many stairs and walk over cobblestones. Missing church number 59 was OK, sitting in a café watching people go by and doing nothing was inspiring even for hyper me. I had a wonderful trip.
徐徐The breakfast is very average, it should be bought at the supermarket. There are triple rooms with double beds and small beds. The entrance is small, not easy to find. No parking lot, very close to the old town and pedestrian street
GGuest UserI had a pleasant 7 night stay here at this accommodation while in Heraklion, Crete. It belongs to the Lato Boutique, which is the main hotel. The Annex is right opposite and required card access to enter. Room was the Economy room (15 sq. metres), a little on the small side, but good enough for a solo traveller. The room was right next to the stairwell and the lift, so there were times I could hear people moving about, but at night it was very quiet, and there were no sleep disruptions. Bed was comfy, air-conditioning was also good. The shower was also good, with shampoo and soap provided, though I noticed it was running a little low towards the end of my stay (i.e., no refills were done). I also appreciated that a luggage rack was provided, along with two bottles of water on check-in day. Fridge was big enough to fit lots of mineral water bottles to keep them cold, which would be a great reprieve in the summer time. Room safe was incredibly huge as well, it can easily store laptops securely, if needed. The elevator door got stuck on the day of check-out, but still worked, so not too big of an issue there. Wi-Fi requires a special code that you can get from the reception. My first code strangely stopped working after two days, but was promptly rectified after I informed the reception of the issue. There were no other connectivity issues for me. The hotel location is pretty near to the Venetian Port, and the Rocca Fortress; it is also walking distance away from the main shopping street in Heraklion and lots of good eating places nearby. There are also supermarkets nearby to get water as well. It does get quiet at night, but I did not encounter any incidents that made me feel unsafe. My room came with buffet breakfast included, which is served in the main building. Breakfast starts service from 7 am onwards, and was generally quite crowded at the start. Depending on the crowd level, the staff will occasionally open up a new section of the dining area. Breakfast was generally good, there was a good spread of American breakfast items, to pastries, ham and cheese and even Greek yogurt with a lot of condiments. It varied a little bit from day-to-day, but was generally the same for the most part.
GGuhuijiwanjiaThe sea view outside the window is first-class, facing the historic site. Although it is facing the street, the sound insulation effect of the door and windows is very good. Free parking lot is rare. It is about 500 meters away from the hotel. The linen in the room is relatively old. European hotels basically do not provide toothbrushes
GGuest UserBooked for two nights either end of our Cretan road trip Great location for airport buses and for heraklion nightlife Standard room set up Okay buffet breakfast Friendly staff Let us leave our bags after check out until late evening when we headed to airport Second booking which we did the day before we arrived was more $$ due to only a triple room being available .When we checked in they tried to put is a double ,we said we've paid for triple .When we went to the room it was the exact room from the week before so that peeved us a bit .Shame really
