The hotel is located within walking distance of the old city center. We could enjoy the sunrise from the balcony of the room. It was fantastic. You could hear the buzz of the city but it was not disturbing. Good spot to make a tour with the famous olds mobile cabs. The personnel was very friendly and the receptionist Michael was extremely helpful. Good and affordable food served in the bar. The breakfast was good.

The location of the hotel is very good, very close to the attractions, and there are various classic car taxis to take when you go out. It is also very convenient to find the hotel to help book a taxi to Varadero. Cuba is relatively scarce in supplies. This hotel is in very good condition, and the front desk can also swipe American cards. The swimming pool on the rooftop can punch in the same style as Jay Chou.

Breakfast is the only bright spot, which meets domestic four-star standards. I don't understand how this hotel got a 4.6 rating on Google...
The local Chinese tour guide only recommends the Kempinski across the road in the old town, or the MELIA managed by a Spanish company in the new town. All other hotels in Cuba are state-owned enterprises managed by the military.
The room smells musty and there are cockroaches in it. When the windows are opened for ventilation, there is also the smell of gasoline from classic cars all over the street. The key point is that the sound insulation is not good. There are often people singing and playing on the road at night, so the quality of sleep cannot be guaranteed!
The water pressure in the shower is good, but there are no slippers, no conditioner, and no hot water bottle... If it wasn't for the connecting room, I wouldn't have booked this place, and I will never go there again. I will definitely book Kempinski.

difficult to rate because it depends of what you want. the good price, location, bed, clean rooms the bad breakfast - horrible with really bad service. i went twice just because i was in a hurry. i recommend a little café at the corner of 25 street Hot Water - in 7 days there was hot water twice, once in the morning and once in the evening The pool - they rent for the day to non guest. this is a small pool that gets crowded easily. i didn't use it, not even one day. AC - function ok but whith a lot of noise. Elevators - most mornings they dont work The hotel for me was just a place to go to if i were in the area because i have a house in Havana. if you want a hotel where you will use its facilities, this is not a good one/

My first visit to Havana and won't be my last... these guys gave me a stay to remember, it was my Birthday whilst there, I got a cake, and a lovely greeting, also they they got me a Classic car to Buena Vista Social club... before I headed to Varadero... 🥰🥰🥰 special thanks to Raymundo, Elizabeth, Ruben,Cristina Edgar, and Iran... and all staff were lovely. It so happened that in a short time I stayed at the hotel twice, so I am writing two reviews in one day. In general, the hotel is truly wonderful - everything is well built, beautiful, comfortable and stylish (the hotel has been open since 1929 and, in general, has retained its style with a few exceptions). Initially, they worked on it thoroughly, and the result did not disappoint - truly good things do not lose their class with age, but, on the contrary, acquire additional dignity, like cognac or aged rum). The attitude of the staff - sincere and caring - adds to the sensations (or rather, elevates them to a degree). Met guests here who always stay at this hotel when they come to Havana. Apparently I will be such a person now))

The room is nice and has free wifi. Just don't live opposite the beach, there are shows downstairs every night and it's very noisy 😭, and the breakfast is mainly European breakfast, which is relatively dry.

I have been staying in this hotel more than ten years ago. I have stayed here most of the time when I come to Havana. I have stayed here countless times and the service is very good. It's a nice hotel in Havana, right on the seaside and opposite the Havana Business Center. Although it has been renovated for a long time, it does not feel old.
