We absolutely loved our stay at Veranda High Resort Chiang Mai. The hotel is about a 30-min drive from Chiang Mai, nestled into a beautiful countryside with rolling hills. We booked the valley deluxe scenery room on the ground floor, which has a calming view of trees and mountains. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need; the bed is huge. The infinity pool overlooks a mountain with a white temple (worth a visit!). Food (Western and Thai) is delicious and reasonably priced. But what stood out above everything was how friendly the staff is here. We felt really welcome and well looked after. We'll definitely be back!

A short distance from downtown Chiangmai frequented by well-off locals. Yes, it might be a bit off the well trodden tourist sites in Chiangmai but if one could spare a day or two here, the beauty of this hotel and its gardens would leave any visitor breathless. One doesn't come here to savour the delicacies of Northern Thailand, there are other places to indulge oneself. One doesn't come here for 5 star service, there are both local and international hotels in town for that purpose. One comes here to get away from the hustlesof the city, to appreciate the expansive well-tended surroundings and most of all, to recharge and relax. Turn a blind eye to some of the little flaws and faults of this mangificient hotel, one would be rewarded with a break few tourists to Chiangmai would ever experience.

One of the best hotel experience. actually stayed here twice in January and February. Everything about this place is simply great. It is truly quiet. Not quiet because we were lucky. Its quiet during any day of the week. No bars around or airplanes landing. All guests are quiet and respectful towards others rest time. The construction materials are very solid and isolate both sound and temperature. I loved the blackout curtains.
Some rooms got bathtubes. The pools are kept really clean even during cold days when no one is swimming. The garden is just beatiful and taken good care of. It's also the reason why there is no noise from the road and the air is less dry (it is really dry during winter months).
Breakfast, dinners were good. I loved deep fried fish, ordered it several times. There is a nice Swiss place walkable distance away and a Thai restaurant farm with a small play area for kids.
Staff speaks English and Mandarin Chinese. They were helpful with any request.
Whenever i am back to Chiang Mai, its my number one choice now.

If you come to Chiang Mai, you should definitely stay in such a place. this place is about 10 km away from the area where night markets are located. It's a great feeling to come here after having fun in the crowd. like a place from heaven. just the sound of birds and crickets. The first thing you see when you wake up is a wonderful garden. the pool is very enjoyable but I wish it didn't close at 8... the staff is friendly and polite. the rooms are clean and very nice. This is the place I want to come back to. Thanks for everything 🌸

We stayed as a couple in November 2022, the hotel, it’s grounds, the rooms and the pool are beautiful. The staff are generally friendly especially the main reception gentleman who was there and always willing to help 24/7. Whilst the hotel was beautiful, there are a few improvements that are needed to allow guests to have a better stay. The breakfast wasn’t great at all and we paid quite a lot extra for this (as the hotel is a 30 minute drive from town). There are two options, a Thai breakfast (minced pork with eggs although we didn’t try this) or an American breakfast. There are no options for fruit, yoghurt or any cereals. The American breakfast shown on the menu doesn’t come as shown and instead comes with frozen vegetables (rather than beans, mushrooms etc). From the second day I just asked for eggs or eggs on toast which we found to be best. The pictures online led us to think there were lots of breakfast options so we paid extra for this but this isn’t the case. We raised this with staff but we’re told the pictures weren’t right. The hotel is quite far out, but we liked this for a peaceful and tranquil stay in between our day trips out. Whilst you can buy water, smoothies and tea & coffee it would have been nicer to have access to water (maybe a water fill up station) tea and coffee all day round the pool. You do have access to two bottles of water in the room each day but this wasn’t really enough if you’re spending the day round the pool. There is a mini market 5 mins away where you can get some supplies from. There is an on-site gym which has enough if you want to workout, the pool area is lovely and everything is decorated really beautifully. Overall, we enjoyed our stay but a better breakfast option at the least needs to be improved given how far away from any other food options the hotel is.

Friendly staff, great facilities and close proximity to all that Chiang Mai has to offer are three great reasons you should stay at Monmuang Chiangmai Resort.

The room was nice, clean, and the bedding was very dry.
The yard is big and beautiful
The service was excellent
Breakfast is good. Order it yourself. Thai fried noodles, fried rice, and Western food are all good.
There is a local market nearby that sells everything. Fruits and pig's feet are very cheap. There are also many snack bars nearby. I went to a noodle shop and ate fish noodles twice and it was great.
There are also merchants and small shops along the way to the market. Sit down at a fruit shop and drink coconut 🥥 and freshly squeezed orange juice.

If, like us, you are looking for somewhere to relax after your travels then Sela is absolutely the perfect place to unwind, just 30 mins outside Chiangmai. The building is beautiful and the staff are most welcoming and attentive. The grounds are well maintained and the pool is immaculate, tucked away and with ample shade. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and Windows restaurant, open from midday, offers delicious dishes to suit all tastes. It is perhaps surprising to discover that the property was built very recently as it echos the style and grandeur of yesteryear. I’m certain this beautiful hotel will soon become a go-to destination for anyone wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of Chiangmai for the peace and quiet of the countryside. All in all this property is an absolute gem

The hotel is located in the Chiang Mai Wood Carving Village. It is very convenient to go to the Wood Carving Village to see furniture and handicrafts. The rooms are very large. The hotel’s service is very warm and caring. Breakfast will be changed every day to ask for advice. You can also borrow a bicycle for you to stop and go when you visit the woodcarving village. The people in Chiang Mai are very friendly, the bicycles do not need to be locked and never lost, and the folk customs are simple and honest! Every Wednesday there is a market in the woodcarving village, which is very lively and sells a wide variety of varieties.

Outstanding
GGuest UserStaff or Owner is very nice. Location is close Royal park Rajapruek but far from Chiangmai center. If you like quiet, not noisy,, this place is very suitable for relaxation.
XXiangyitaijianIt's much bigger than expected. It's a fairly new hotel. However, I encountered some troubles when I checked in. The power outage occurred twice when I took a shower. I finally changed rooms, but the TV in the new room didn't work.
But I also gave a good review for the elephant towel. Hahaha, it's cute.
There's a cafe next to it that's super nice. I recommend going in. The restaurants nearby are also very local, suitable for friends who want to travel in depth.
GGuest UserI have stayed in this hotel for more than half a month. I really like it. The decoration style is very similar to my home. Living here feels like going home. The bedrooms and bathrooms are large, with a bright layout and a small balcony facing the garden. Every day It’s really comfortable to sit on your balcony to have breakfast and soak up the sun. The swimming pool is also very good. This hotel is suitable for people who are not visiting Chiang Mai for the first time. My mother and I come to Chiang Mai for a month every year, so we are very familiar with it. There is not much demand in the ancient city. We came to Chiang Mai mainly to soak in the hot springs. We rented a car and drove 45 kilometers to soak in the hot springs the next day, or else we drove up the mountain. So if this is your first time in Chiang Mai, it is not recommended to stay here. But if you come to Chiang Mai not for tourists but just for health, this place is really great
MMaruKotyA bit of a trouble to get a taxi in the evening time from here. But 15 minutes walking to the Starbucks and no problem to catch one from there. It's about 25min by car from the city center. Overall nice and quiet place.
GGuest UserMy family and I have had a wonderful experience at North Hill City Resort. This is our first time here, but it won't be our last. The accommodations are lovely and even more attractive given that this hotel is relatively small and has a lovely boutique flavor. Everything worked perfectly in our rooms, and the showers are impressive in and of themselves with multiple jets of water that can soothe your aching muscles after a long round or two of golf at the world-class golf course (literally) 100 paces away from one of the entrances of the hotel. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. We were also pleasantly surprised by how efficient and cost-effective room service was. All of our food came promptly and was hot and delicious, which has not been my experience of most hotels in my years of travel. The one improvement I would make would be to the breakfast buffet, which was very good, but limited. All the food was well prepared and delicious, but if there were more options that would be helpful. Mostly, however, it was the generosity of the staff which was most impressive. Under the leadership of the resort manager, Mr. Pholkrit Poenmunkong, we were exceptionally well cared for by all staff members, but, in particular, by Mr. Poenmunkong and the front desk staff of Nada, Ploy, and Chainoi. Mr. Poenmunkong was warm and generous with his time. He greeted my young son with a formal handshake which helped him feel very proud. During our stay, he also ensured that we had everything we needed to make our experience exceptional. The front desk staff was an exquisite example of people going ”above and beyond” to help us feel at home. When you're in a new city, small things matter, and whether it was Nada making sure my four-year-old had his hat (or carrots to feed the rabbits), Ploy ensuring that we took the correct shuttles to the correct places, or Chainoi making sure we had fresh towels and teaching us archery, we felt their warmth and their competence, which was a gift. What happened as I type this review is an example of this generous hospitality. I am sitting in the hotel cafe writing this review and Nada (who works with the front desk staff), unsolicited, greeted me warmly and brought me a delicious drink, which was quite thoughtful and appreciated. This is the type of service we've experienced North Hill City Resort and I can highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to enjoy a great hotel, with delicious food and amazing hospitality.
GGuest UserThis is a great place to visit and have lunch. Excellent restaurant with interesting seating areas, Good food and wonderful service. In fact, staff here was one of the best I have come across in Chiang Mai. Across the street is an amusement park for kids with go carts, swimming activities and many other wonderful activities.
KKelliemarieeWe booked hoping for a retreat, somewhere private and with a balcony to enjoy the nature and that’s exactly what we got. If you want a resort with a swimming pool this is the wrong place but if you want a private villa on the hill side with a balcony in the jungle then this is perfect. I celebrated my 30th birthday here and have no regrets! The room is huge, bathroom too. The only thing that we were disappointed with was the bed was a little hard for our liking, perhaps more Thai style. The staff were great and helped us with the luggage. I recommend hiring your own car and bringing some snacks or drinks with you as there’s no shops close by. The breakfast was order the evening before but enough. We bought a little extra fruit and snacks for beer in the evenings. We had the most wonderful two nights here!
罗罗The landlord was enthusiastic and responsive. I originally stayed for 2 days and finally stayed for 5 days. With the assistance of the landlord, I found a suitable villa to accompany me to read. The restaurant food was delicious. My son said that he would bring egg fried rice back to China.
I hope the boss's business is getting better.
SStay501946This hotel was great for a week of relaxing in the outdoors but still close enough to the city. Staff were very friendly and so helpful. Shuttle busses and drivers went out of their way to accommodate our requests. Self catering two bedroom apartment was great but could do with more cooking facilities. Plenty of crockery etc with tea, coffee and water supplied every day. Restaurant at Belle Villa was disappointing but pool area good for much needed swims. Within walking distance of small villages and other good eating options. Elephants 500m up the road are well worth visiting at 9h30 each morning.
嵇淞 Loved the hotel! It's like a large garden. The breakfast is also very good. The service is very simple. The waiters are very simple. It is suitable for secluded travel because it is not convenient to go in and out of the mountain. But it is suitable for those who like to stay away from the city.
