Very helpful and polite staff. The hotel feels really authentic. Highly recommend travellers for family (even with baby and kids) and ppl who would like to enjoy the jap culture Please opt for meals as the restaurant in that city closes pretty early (6pm)

It was a great place for travel. Onsen(온천), food, and the hospitality were wonderful. The room was traditional Japanese style and the dinner and breakfast were served in disciplined manner. I really enjoyed the nature of Hakone and the ryokan with onsen. Hope to travel the area again!

The service is very nice. Public onsen is good too. Just a bit far from station.

It was my first time staying at a ryokan, and it was as satisfying as I expected. All the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. There was an outdoor hot spring, but it was a little burdensome because it was a mixed bath... haha In addition, you can use the private outdoor bath for 30 minutes, but it was a pity that I couldn't use it due to my mistake. Personally, the facilities were not bad for an old one. However, it was a pity that the location was difficult because you had to go up a lot of hills, and it was very difficult to get to the convenience store. On the day of check-out, I was able to take a shuttle bus to Hakone-Yumoto Station, which was very convenient. Overall, I think it was a satisfactory experience.

The hotel is some distance from Hakone Yumoto, and you need to take a bus to get there. It is a traditional Japanese-style suite with no elevator. Although the place is old, it is clean and tidy, and there is a faint hint of ancient Japanese flavor.

There were very few reviews of this hotel on all major platforms. I decided on this hotel with some trepidation, but I was quite satisfied when I arrived at the hotel. Except that the hot spring is a bit small (I think other hotels are very expensive and the hot spring may be bigger, I don't know without comparing). I'm very satisfied with the food, service, and everything else.

It was a little difficult to get there, but the atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. I think it would be better to go there by car!

Loved this place! I chose it because it has a large open air (outdoor) mixed gender bathing area, and my partner and I are hippies from CA. So either that's a huge plus or a huge minus depending on your comfort level with mixed gender nudity. Our room was lovely with a wonderful view, and the food was excellent. I'm planning to go again next year and perhaps every year.

I took my grandson there for my daughter's birthday, expecting to hear that children were welcome. There was no green tea or mineral water in the refrigerator, the vending machines were sold out, and I didn't know when the nearby convenience store closed, and it was a mystery why they didn't provide it to me when I found out I could prepare it in a pitcher the next morning. After dinner, they don't clean up until the end of the day, and are disappointed by the waitress's unkind words. There are spider webs in the lights of the open-air bath and turtle bugs on the shoji screen. I was really disappointed in the cost of the stay.
